Rising from the alter, Jasper yet again found himself on the hunt. Hunting for a prey that had claimed to be the best out there. Sure that he was able to track his prey here, he readied himself for battle, sure that Haruki would enter the church at any time. Fortunately, Jasper arrived at the church long before Haruki, and was able to set aside the wooden benches. There would be no obstructions, just a battle. Envy resided in his body, quietly waiting. Though Jasper could feel her uneasiness, her unwillingness to fight. But he was in control right now.

"I can be brave too!"•.•.•- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Slow...that was the word for it, but it wasn't really the strongest use of the word. Haruki didn't want to travel all this way for a bout, but he was obligated to show Jasper how to REALLY fight since he thought he knew what he was doing when obviously Haruki was the better paladin! Haruki pushed open the door to the church and allowed his eyes to adjusted to the light shining from the giant painted windows that all churches seemed to have. "Sorry I'm late, Ignis didn't want me doing something stupid so I had to walk here. Are you ready to begin?" Haruki asked calmly, drawing Arturia's sword and preparing his shield. "I can train you in how to really fight after this is done. I'm not that bad, you know." Haruki seemed to be bouncing from foot to foot now that the battle was underway, he'd just have to not step on things since walking around without shoes was just really stupid.

There was Haruki, the Kiranu he came for. This boy, even until his battle, seemed to think he was the best. All Jasper could do was show the boy off, teaching exactly how a real warrior fights. He unsheathed the Nexus Blade with his right hand, and after a cloud of green gas, a double sided hand mirror appeared in his hand. "I don't think you know exactly what this is. But let me explain it in a very simple way. You're not leaving this place alive under any circumstances." He didn't dwell on the matter any further. After a rush of energy, Haruki would suddenly begin to reflect from the horrible things he had done. Though, it would probably only be something like stealing a cookie from the kitchen's cookie jar. His guilt would only increase the output of energy he needed to execute his skills.
Gripping his sword, Jasper immediately swung at the air twice, each swing sent a lethal blade of wind at Haruki. Jasper ended the swing combo by jabbing the hilt of his blade into the air, creating a thin wave of air that was sent flying toward Haruki's direction. Being hit by the blades of wind would sever any part it touched, but for the added effect, the thin wave of air exploded with the force of a grenade. Amazingly enough, it would even send shrapnel flying, should Haruki attempt to avoid the explosion. It would prove hard in the enclosed space of the church.

"And I think...that I'll be leaving here quite alive. As will you." Such confidence...even in the face of danger, and such innocence too...Haruki was shining kinda brightly now, but the only shine he needed to show was in battle. His ears twitched when his thoughts shifted back to eating that one cookie back at the palace...he knew this skill, that meant it was time to--"Move your a**, Haruki!" All of these distractions were getting on Haruki's nerves, but at Zetsu's request, he got a move on. Haruki knew that trying to block it head on in this state was going to be a pain, so he had to use low energy moves, or none at all. With that cat-like agility of his, Haruki made a jump for it, cartwheeling across the ground like a very tiny wheel. That was his course of action for dodging the air blades, but he needed a boost of energy for the last part of the attack. He pushed off of his hands and instead of slashing at the sharpnel from the dodged explosion and blades, he brought his shield in front of his face. Protecting his face and torso, but allowing his legs to take both blunts and cuts for the greater good. As he landed back on the ground he looked back at Jasper, smiling brightly. "You're not bad, but I'm still the greatest there ever was!"

Description: A more acrobatic move that allows the user to close the distance while keeping more vital parts of their body away from harm. The user cartwheels, and as soon as their feet hit the ground they are already launching themselves in to the air. The come down while slashing horizontally, using all that gathered energy from their movement to possibly knock the opponent away. Spiral Cut can be used as a kill move if the cut is deep enough or lands in the right place.

Jasper didn't engage in useless spars. When he fought, it was to the death. He wouldn't show much mercy to Haruki either, even if he was young. It wasn't Jasper's problem is a kid was confident enough to claim he was the best. A lot of people wanted this kid dead, that was exactly what Jasper would give them. A dead kid. Seeing Haruki launch himself into the air, Jasper merely stood there. As soon as the boy came down to strike, rough winds surrounded him. When Haruki attempted to strike, the rough winds would launch him all of the way to the far end of the church, with his back hitting the wall. "Honestly, if that's the best you've got, perhaps you should kneel right now."

Haruki didn't understand Jasper's fighting style...it was foreign to him, alien in such a way that he couldn't even try to fathom why Jasper fought the way he did. This one was too easy, Haruki kicked off of an energy plate in the air and flipped his body until his feet were to the wall. His blade went straight through the stone of the chapel, he was standing basically on the wall and still looking at Jasper with a friendly smile. "Are you sure you don't wanna learn under me?" Haruki asked again, jumping back down to the ground and getting back in to his ready stance. He seemed far too relaxed...normally he wouldn't be this calm, but he couldn't help but feel serene. "Last chance." Haruki stated with a shrug.

Description: A paramount dodging movement for those that use this style in battle. The user's body becomes as water, allowing them to twist and turn in directions that are normally pointlessly hard to attempt. This allows them to...say...twist their body around the opponent's sword to keep it from moving, or dancing around them to get behind their back. Note, that although this movement has a bit of contorting to it, it isn't going to make you a master gymnast. People can still hit you, even more so because this is an E-Rank dodge. However, the strength behind this skill is...it can be used under any circumstance. Broken legs, on the ground, underwater, or even in the air.

Seeing the recover so easily, Jasper knew that he would have to cut off his ability to sense the things around him. After sending the double sided mirror away, Jasper reached for the pan flute given to him by Emelia and began to play a medley of songs. First of which sent out a pulse of energy that would interfere with Haruki's ability hear things around him by leaving a rather annoying buzzing sound. The second song sent out yet another pulse of energy that began to distort and even blur Haruki's vision. The third and final song sent out a musical staff made completely of Jasper's energy. Dropping his blade with his right hand, Jasper casted a blinding light towards Haruki's direction, making it almost impoosible for him to see the next attack. Immediately the music staff was sent towards Haruki as it attempted to bind the boy. If it had even made contact, Haruki would find himself incapable of breathing as the staff crushed his body.

"I can be brave too!"•.•.•- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Haruki had heard all of these songs before...Feather had learned to play them, hadn't she? He only had one real course of action left if he was going to survive this. "Radiant Dawn..." Haruki's sword began to glow as he raced towards Jasper and the musical staff. "Version two!" Haruki exclaimed, jumping in to the air and running more energy through the blade. The light extended it to look like a sword that should be incapable of being wielded by such a small body, and even more so, it's power was enough to destroy the staff when Haruki brought the blade down upon it. The discharge of energy sent waves of light in Jasper's direction, even if Haruki couldn't see him well or hear him correctly he was still going to track him.
