The teachers' lounge consists of 2 conjoining rooms. The first room is like the name says, a lounge. There is a large fridge, coffee table, sofas and chairs. Lockers and cabinets for the faculty and staff, as well as other stuff they may need. The second room is large, and bright with a lot of windows. There's a long wide wooden table with chairs. At the end of the table is a chair reserved for the headmaster and next to it is one reserved for the Vice. This is one used for meetings.

Katsuo entered the faculty lounge in his usual teacher attire: a black suit. His dark hair that fell to his shoulders flowed behind him as he walked to the coffee maker by the window. The teacher poured himself a cup of coffee, slate grey eyes gazing outside the window at the students. They were chatting idly and walking to class leisurely. Katsuo put three cubes of sugar in his coffee, no cream and stirred methodically. After that, he settled on one of the sofas in front of the flat screen T.V. that hung on the wall. The weather forecast was on. The weatherperson that everyone knew as Amy Castille chirped in her cheerful voice about how the entire week was going to be a great week for picnicking and kite flying. Sunshine all week or so she claimed. The man sipped his coffee.

Althea walked into the quite lounge, her long white dress embroidered with vibrant flowers trailed behind her. She saw Katsuo, the blades teacher, sitting with a cup of coffee in front of the T.V. "Good morning, Katsuo," She greeted the man warmly as she walked in, over to the coffee machine. She poured herself a cup. Three cubes of sugar and some cream. She stirred as she leaned against the counter and gazed outside the window.

Katsuo placed the white coffee cup onto the table before him and stood at the vice headmistress' entrance. He bowed slightly at the waist. "Good morning, Vice," He said smoothly before sitting back down onto the sofa. "How are you today?" He asked the woman, turning his body slightly to gaze at her. She was more than a couple of years older than him but her appearance was still young and beautiful. She exudes confidence and elegance. Not only that, she is one of the best healers and Katsuo greatly admired her.

Althea looked at Katsuo and smiled kindly. "I told you already that there is no need to do that," She said, referring to the bowing. Isamu and her gets a lot of that. The gesture was kind and a sign of deep, honest respect but she saw it unnecessary. She turned to the window again. "I am doing well, thank you for asking. How about yourself?" She asked, keeping her eyes outside.

Katsuo bowed his head. "I am sincerely sorry," He replied. He knew that the older woman has once told him about the bowing and its necessity. However, he believed differently. He has deep respect for the Yamamotos and bowing greatly showed his respect in his opinion. But if it was what the vice wished, then he shall consider. His slate grey eyes were trained on her, noticing how she kept her gaze out the window, at the students who were idling to class. He knew about the importance of the student body to the woman. "I am doing relatively well myself," He answered. "The headmaster must be already in his office," He stated, seeing as the man was not with her that morning to get coffee as he usually would before heading to his office for the mounds of paperwork.
Lavender entered the lounge. She was had her long light purple hair in a ponytail and was adorning a simple coral dress. In her hands were two lunch boxes. She smiled upon laying eyes at the other teachers."Good morning, Katsuo, Althea," She greeted them in her usual cheery tone. She walked over to the fridge and placed the lunch boxes inside. It was Violet's and her's lunch for the day: a chicken ranch wrap with Caesar salad, an apple, and granola bar, all prepared the night before. Lavender settled on the sofa adjacent to Katsuo.

Althea looked at Katsuo, a small smile on her face as she nodded. "Yes, he woke up earlier than usual to go to his office. Which is odd, he hates early mornings," She sipped her coffee. "I don't think he even got his coffee," She chuckled softly before taking another sip. She glanced out the window and then towards the door when Lavender walked in. "Good morning Lavender," She greeted the younger woman warmly.
Katsuo took a long drink of his coffee, nodding his head. The headmaster has an affinity for coffee but a distaste for mornings... He turned to the doorway when the cheerful tone of one of the Akiyama twins presented itself."Good morning, Lavender."He watched with cool eyes as the woman sat down on the neighboring sofa."Would you like coffee, Lavender?" He inquired politely seeing as the woman did not help herself with a cup.

Lavender smiled warmly at her colleagues. Her attention was on the T.V. before her, her hands clasped on her lap as her light purple eyes gazed at its screen. The weather was now other and it showed the most recent news. Nothing big happening. A charity run downtown soon. She turned to face Katsuo when he asked her a question. She smiled and shook her head. "No thank you. I don't drink coffee," She replied sweetly.

Althea smiled at the younger woman. She's always so sweet and polite... And petite. She was sitting on the big sofa but seemed to be taking up as little space as possible. "Where's Violet?" She asked, wondering where her twin was. The two usually came in together.

Location // Faculty Lounge :: Mood // Amused :: Company // Althea, Lavender, and Katsuo
Just down the hallway, a woman clad in blue, silky attire paced herself through the corridor, high-heels gently clicking against the tiled flooring. Her skin, pale as moonlight. A willowy arm rose from her side to stifle a yawn. She, herself, had been awake before the first ray of light had appeared above the horizon. Why, one would ask? She didn't want to miss the lovely sight of the sunrise, creating picturesque art of colors against the night. Like a an ancient battle of the valiant sun against the maiden of night. One of the few things Calypso took pleasure in.
The lass rounded a corner. Curiosity had set her direction for the lounge where her fellow instructors would take their time to unwind. The smell of coffee caught her attention. So there were others besides herself awake this early in the morning, she concluded. The subtle sounds of voices carrying through the hallway gave her an estimate of how many were present. It had only been a month since Calypso had joined the ranks of the academy. With her abilities, there was only one place suited for her. She took up the position as an educator in necromancy. Necromancy has always been a touchy subject. Borderline forbidden magic. She had successfully managed to keep herself out of Red Shield's sights. This woman wasn't a fool. Any who dared to learn or inherited, as in her case, such power were keenly watched by the Red Shield affiliates. Knowing that fact never barred her from enjoying herself.
Standing in the doorway now, Calypso leaned her right side against the frame, cocking her left leg behind her right in a nonchalant pose. A sly smile stretched across her dainty lips on her amused countenance. Her gloved arms intermingled at her abdomen.
"Well, well, well. It's nice to see everyone bouncing with energy this morning."
The woman's amber eyes glided from one face to another, without pausing on one any longer than the last.
Katsuo took a sip from the white mug before him. Despite him teaching at the academy for over two years, he still did not know much about his colleagues. Sure, he knew things such as the fact that Lavender had a twin named Violet and they both had an eidetic memory. But details such as what they liked to eat and their favorite hobbies were ones he just didn't care about. The man simply sat quietly, eyes trained ahead yet listening to the conversation around him. At the sound of a new voice, he gave one glance at the door."Good morning, Calypso,"He replied simply, in his usual impassive tone. The woman was quite new to the academy, having only been there a month or so. And he didn't really know much of her. Only that something about her seemed off to him but maybe that was because she taught the necromancy class. He never liked necromancy. It was black magic, borderline dark arts and forbidden magic. Why an academy so prestigious as Amaterasu would offer such a course was a mystery to him. The Academy has been around for centuries and never had he read or heard of an accident regarding to the necromancy class. So he assumed the Yamamotos must know what the are doing.

Lavender looked at the Vice Mistress."I think Violet is in the library. Or her classroom," She replied. She actually had no idea. When they arrived on campus, Violet said she had some errands to do and left. She turned towards the door at the sound of a new voice. She smiled warmly at the teacher. It was Calypso, the - fairly - new teacher. She was in charge of the necromancy class. "Good morning Calypso!" She greeted the other kindly.

Althea nodded at Lavender, drinking out of her coffee mug. Her light blue eyes were still kept outside the window, watching the students idle about. She turned towards the door when Calypso walked in. "And a good morning to you to, Calypso," She smiled at the woman. "Coffee?" She asked, gesturing with her free hand at the counter of coffee beside her,
