Hanabi was a simple girl. She loved movies and hanging with her friends and family. But a few weeks after she turned 13 she shifted into a panther. She was a were-panther and because she had been adopted her family didn't know how to handle it and they ran her out. Not knowing how to turn back she spent 5 years as a panther. Her mind is lost as she walks through the forest. She is all panther.

Judah was busy bringing out some lumber to help build the new houses in the town. He had grown up in the small town and the old church with the priest, always trying to be polite and do what he thought was right. but the demon sighed having to hide the lower half of his face so they wouldn't be afraid of him.
But, this day felt different. and sounded different from the growls he heard around the trees. the demon stopped and looked around quietly at the brush "hello?"

Hanabi was growling and digging in the ground. She smelled squirrels, what she didn't know was that the hole had been ransacked by the villagers. Her stomach growled along with her and she sniffed around.

Judah walked further into the trees and looked around quietly, ready to tackle away any would be predators that decided to use him as a claw stand. When he saw Hanabi though and how hungry she seemed, Judah bit his lip and kneeled down "hey there. You look like you haven't eaten for days."

Hanabi looked up and growled at him. She lowered her body down defensively not knowing if he was a threat or not.

Judah held his hands up to show he wasn't a threat, looking her over for a moment before taking out a small pouch from his belt and holding out a muffin "here. It's not much but it's pretty good and it was freshly made. better than eating dirt and worms"

Hanabi looked at him for the longest time before she walked over. Her hair was still bristled but she took the muffin from him before trotting away. She watched him as she ate.

Judah smiled happily behind his mask and sat down to watch her eat, taking out the second muffin for her to eat whenever she was ready to "Guess I'll have to bring these more often if you like them that much. and if you stick around, maybe I can bring you more to eat too." He nodded and tossed it to her so she'd be more comfortable eating at a distance "you're way too pretty to be that skinny. Maybe we can get your coat shining again with a good diet"

Hanabi watched the muffin drop over by her. She looked at the strange man and could sort of understand what he was saying. She heard skinny and shinny coat and just watched him.

"sorry, didn't mean to offend" he chuckled and shrugged before turning hearing his name be called out. the boy quickly stood and left the last muffin he had "I'll come back tonight, but my father needs me. I hope you'll still be here" he nodded and picked up the lumber to start walking away to the church

Hanabi watched him walk off. She ate the last muffin and before long she got hungry again. Her panther mind caught his scent in the wind and told her that if she followed it she would get more food. She walked through the forest finding his scent getting stronger.

Judah was up on top trying to repair the tile on the roof of the church, hammering down some pallets before beginning to lay tile over it until his nose caught the panther's scent. he looked around quickly and saw her coming from the forest "oh hello!" he called down "did you follow me here?"

Hanabi looked up at him. She wondered how he got up there. She was about to jump up when a scent caught her. She sniffed and looked around seeing it was coming from the kitchen window. She started to walk towards it her stomach growling.

Judah blinked and he squirmed to try and get onto the ladder "wait! hold on!" he called but he slipped and cried out, falling into the pile of old wood and tile he had thrown onto the ground "Gah!" Father Curtis heard the cry and he stepped out to the kitchen window to see Judah groan and Hanabi at the window "Oh dear. just what trouble have you gotten into?" he asked Judah and then glanced at the panther "Are you hungry my dear?"
