Radames had decided to spend some time out on the town, just to see how things were going. He had been so busy gathering his imps and making sure they knew who was boss, that he hadn't really spent a lot of time out in the world. He was sure he needed to live with the other temeo a bit, too, even if he didn't really think they were worthy of his presence. at least now he had a bunch of tiny imps with him to help him with his more trivial tasks. Maybe he could honor some other Temeo with the company of his greatness for a little while, as they worked on cleaning his room, making him lunch and generally serving him in whatever way he could think of. He had even brought three of his older imps along with him, as he had learned to trust them the most. Wrath, Greed and Sloth all sat on his back, waiting for a moment to protect their leader if needed. Well, Wrath and Greed were ready, anyway. Sloth was just taking a nap. He moved down another street, looking around at the various shops. Maybe he would be able to find something to buy- something that was suited for his spectacular tastes. Or maybe he would find someone interesting to talk to. Though somehow he doubted that very much- who could be as interesting as he was? Come on, now.

'I can't believe he left without me!'The small, dark figure of Cyrus darted through the streets and between the legs of pedestrians as he frantically scouted the area for something - or rather someone - he had lost. Every now and then he would pause, tall ears flicking every which way, before rushing off in another direction. Despite his size, he was quick (as were most of his kin) but not as fast as his Mentor. He probably would never catch up... 'There's no telling how far he already made it.'Squeaking out of frustration at the thought of behind left behind again, the kit raced down the side streets of the shopping plaza. Tiny paws scrabbling against the cobblestone, Cyrus took a sharp turn back onto the main road, nearly colliding with a strangely decorated temeo. He skidded to a halt in the nick of time, but tumbled over himself in an undignified manner. Slightly winded, he attempted to right himself while speaking at a mile a minute. "Sorry mister! Hey, have you seen a guy with a white hood around here? Really tall, kinda serious, dusty-looking... Oh!"Before he could gauge a response from the stranger, the kit noticed the familiar markings around his eyes. "Are you a- a...." He gaped up in wonder as he recognized the prominent symbols from Mentor's books. There was something special about the marking... and a name you would call people who carried it. He continued to stare as his mind tried to search for the correct term. "... A gypsy?!"Not the right word.

Radames could have sat on the boy for calling him that! "A gypsy?" He growled indignantly, glaring down at the kit with very judging red eyes. "I am certainly NOT a gypsy!" He would have continued, but the tiny imps were ready to leap in as well, Greed and Wrath leaping off their master and onto the kit. Wrath nibbled on his ear threateningly, though his tiny teeth probably didn't even hurt more than an annoying sting, like being bitten by a mouse. They weren't much bigger than a mouse, either, making their threatening attack more adorable than anything else.
"You will show pharaoh Radames some respect!" hissed the tiny rage monster, "respect!" Greed, meanwhile, was sniffing the small thing over, checking to see if he had anything good to eat on him.
While all that was going on, Sloth remained on Radames' back, happy to rest their with his lord. He yawned and watched the other imps for only a moment, then his eyes closed again.
"Wrath, Greed, return to me- he is but a child. I doubt he intended offense." He watched the two imps rush back over to him, wrath hissing as he went.
"No food anyway," grumped Greed.

"No, no, I'm sure of it. Gypsies are people from Egy--eeeeept!" Cyrus hadn't even noticed the mouse-sized creatures until they descended upon him. The imps' attacks were more of a nuisance than anything, but their sudden numbers alarmed him regardless.
"You will not take me so easily!" he squeaked as he flailed about wildly in retaliation. But the attack ended as quickly as it came, and the kit was left trying to pull himself together yet again.
"Pharaoh Ramases?" he grunted, dusting himself off. "I thought he was in a museum or a lab or something..."
He grimaced as he noticed the gnaw marks now scattered over his lovely ears, his focus lost on what he was supposed to be doing. "Is this how you greet people here?"

As if having a rude kit wasn't fuss enough, Sade happened to be on her way back to the shop with a stack of papers strapped to her saddlebags. She overheard the scuffle and slowed her step, anklets clicking together as she peered down the road. She recalled the paperwork on Radames, so recognizing him from all the paper shuffling she did for Karo. But the long legged kit seemed unfamiliar.. or.. Ears pricked up, Sade realized that this might be a member of the small group of Temeo to join their northern brethren. Forgetting all her good manners, she quickly hastened her step and came trotting to the scene. "Ooh, what is going on here? Is everything all--" she stopped mid sentence, noticing the imps on Radames and squeaking with mild fright. "You have imps all over you!"

Radames let out a clearly vexed sigh, watching the young one as he continued to not understand whom he was speaking to. If he weren't so small, Radames might have let his imps return to chewing on the child's ears as punishment for his lack of respect. But he knew Jordan would not approve of such actions, and he was TRYING to keep that in mind more often than not.
"Only when they're annoying," Radames told the other somewhat sharply, turning his head from the kid. "And it's not Ramases, it's RADAMES. It is not difficult."
He would have continued to explain, but a female had come onto the scene and she didn't seem to like the sight of his imps. He was so used to them, sometimes he forgot most Temeos thought they were a menace. Wrath hissed at the lady, while greed scurried over to her to investigate her bracers. Sloth continued not to care.
"Yes, I know," he said with a huff, "do not fear these imps- they are my servants, and will not hurt you. My name is Radames. That is Greed before you, and Wrath. On my back is Sloth."

Itching for some verbal sparring, Cyrus had a retort ready on the tip of his tongue for the haughty male, but it fell as soon as he noticed the clinking of anklets approaching. The strange female's reaction to the imps was rather amusing, although it did pose the question of why the older fellow had the little cretins to start with. Weren't imps the type that destroyed furniture, uprooted gardens, and peed in coffee cups? Who would possibly want to bring a horde of them into a public place?
'Will not hurt you?' He puffed his chest out (trying to appear taller in present company) before leaning over to confide to the blue-masked female in a not-so-low whisper. "Don't believe a word of it! They'll take off your ears the first chance they get." He gestured to his own nibbled ears in emphasis.
In an attempt of chivalry, Cyrus tried warding off Greed with a less-than-intimidating growl, but slowly fell silent as a tall shadow descended upon him.
"Making friends, are we?"
The kit craned his neck back to look up at the sandy-pelted addition to the otherwise dark group of temeo gathered in the streets, feeling startled as he never heard the other approaching from behind. Nevertheless, a wide grin broke across his face as he instantaneously recognized the male. "Set!"

Sade was definitely alarmed by the imps. Karo's house was more or less infested with the creatures and while they were largely harmless, they could certainly be a nuisance. Her ears lay flat on her neck as Greed seemed to be eyeing out her shiny embellishments, but being of such gentle nature as she was, she felt slightly bad for the fiendish critter when Cyrus growled at it.
"Ah, pardon me!" She exclaimed to Radames. "I meant no offense, and certainly did not know they belonged to you. In fact I was not aware you could bond with imps! Are you sure they'll listen to you?" The last probably came off as rude, but it did not occur to Sade that an individual of such status probably did not want his influence put under doubt. Not least because the imps had most apparently already 'brutalized' the kit.
She found herself startled again as Setekh appeared on scene, hair bristling at the surprise.
