Purple allows him to drain others life force or energy. Blue is lightning and the most powerful, too much use can drain ones life away.

Short Bio- John is the son of a Marine. He moves around all the time and doesn't stay very long. Since moving he has little to no friends anywhere. But since his lived everywhere he can speak a plethora of languages. But the move to Kuoh city has been somewhat of a gift for him. It is to be his dads final place till he ends his career. As to the academy he doesn't know he belongs, he is just trying to adjust.
