For the first game we're actually pairing off the teams against each other!

Three Mazes have been set up in the back of what use to be a Feild, it looked as if corn had been planted as soon as the early crop season would allow. Niflhel held his hand out as he showed the teams the Maze.
"I would like the Pink Butterflies, the Purple Parrots, and the Silver Snakes to take the Maze to my left. The Orange Lizards, Copper Tigers, and Green Monkeys to take the Maze in the middle. And the Red Jaguars, Gold Anteaters and Blue Barracudas to take the Maze on the right."
He instructed, "My Assistants will take you to your starting points, as well as give you a flag. This Flag will help us Identify where you are in the maze, and you must carry it at all times. Don't worried I tried to make sure they were light, as I managed to get the same type the high schools use for their marching band flag girls.
Through the maze you may hit dead ends, and other challenges, don't be afraid to take your time and explore all possibilities, because this challenge might not be about how fast you get through, but how well you work together.
As you can see, I have tree Stands placed at difference locations so that my assistants and I know where you are in the maze. We can also see if you cheat, so please don't take any shortcuts through the corn, as this is also about honesty."
Not that he expected any of those playing to make such a choice.

Prompt: The Attendants first lets the Red Jaguars Enter, after waiting a few minutes they let the Gold Anteaters Enter, and finally after a few more minutes the Blue Barracudas are allowed to enter the Maze. Making sure that the teams were fully spread out so as none of them could follow the other.
As your team walks along the path you come to a place where the road splits into a T, you know that going back the way you came is the way to the starting line. However, you can choose to go Left or Right. How do you handle this situation and which way do you go?
((Because this is the first prompt you have a full 48 hours to respond, after this prompt the timer will be set to it's normal 24 hour rounds. If after the set time has passed and your group has not made a choice an assistant will come into rescue you. Please make sure your partner agrees with the choice you make even if your characters do not!

Team Gold Anteaters Team Members: Lassell + Lyceum Choice: right Lassell, walked into the maze entrance of the one on Nieflhel's right. He walked forward and stopped at the T intersection taking a few moments to think about which direction to take. He tapped his chin with a finger, both left him not knowing what was at the end of his direction he glanced at Lyceum. " i think we should take the right path, and see where that takes us and deal with whatever we should encounter at the end of it.
At least going to knight summer camp would teach him some valuable knight know-how. He had an idea what they were for but the last negaverse encounter he had raised a good question. What was he defending? He frowned a bit as he thought about it. After a few seconds he shrugged it off and focused back on the task at hand. Which was getting through this maze.

A maze, huh?
Well, ladies first—or so it seemed.
It wasn't the moat she'd been expecting from all of her television viewing, but it could prove to be an interesting alternative depending on the situations that might arise within it. Palatine approached the maze determinedly and entered after a brief glance at her partner. How difficult could this be, really? Well, she supposed it might have been a little easier if they could have left markers along the path as they traveled so they could tell where they'd already been, but they could always find some way to improvise if they absolutely needed to. Rip little ornaments off their uniforms or something.
It wasn't long before they came upon the first split in the path. Left or right. The first decision could end up being the most important—or it could end up not being very important at all, but Palatine preferred to look at everything involved with some level of importance, whether it deserved it or not.
Maybe it was just a game, a fun activity to get to know the people who were supposed to be her allies, but to Palatine it was a bit more serious than that.
It was many evenings spent on the couch engrossed in Nickelodeon twenty long years ago.
“So... which way do you wanna go?” she asked. It seemed like an easy enough decision. There were only two possible answers. “My vote's left.”

Team Red Jaguars Team Members:Celliwig Buyan(Fillin) + Palatine Choice: Left - sounds good to Buyan.
Buyan had well mostly aided in setting up the snacks table so she had no idea what had went on in anything else. As they walked out to the back to see corn mazes she looked awed. "So is this anything like what you expected?" She asked the woman.
She was following Pally as she walked and eventually asked a question. Buyan was looking at the options and eventually shrugged, "Left sounds good to me." It wasn't like the page was going to be much help, she was more interested in figuring out the structure of the maze itself. "I wonder when they had to do all this to get it growing this tall, I didn't even think the growing season had been long enough for corn to be like this." She was carrying the flag that they had been given.
Team Blue Barracudas Team Members: Alfheim + Meru Choice: Left
"A maze..." For the most part, Meru had avoided mazes as she grew up, not wanting to get lost, but at least this time she had someone go to with, right? She looked over at the person she was paired up with and smiled. "Ready to go?"
She had to admit she was a little bit amused by the team names. Meru knew she was very much blue, despite not being barracuda-like at all. Maybe Alfheim had the personality of one?
Oh well. She'd find out soon enough.
"Let's go to the left! Maybe you can pick the next one?" She laughed.

Team Blue Barracudas Team Members: Alfheim + Meru Choice: Left
"Guh..." Alfheim was fashionably late to the party in the first place, but upon arriving and getting his bearings he was faced with a maze of all things. Which was absolutely terrible because he was directionally challenged as ********, even when sober,
"Yeah, left sounds...uh... good." He was going to die in this cornfield, he just knew it.
Team Gold Anteaters Team Members: Lassell + Lyceum Choice: Right Corn mazes weren't exactly what Lyceum was expecting, but she had signed on to this been handed a partner and was expected to compete in this tournament of sorts. She followed Lassell into the maze with a slightly bored expression on her face, not really expecting this to be very fun.
She was hot and had no desire to be walking through a cornmaze at all. When Lassell suggested the right path she shrugged, not really caring too much either way. "Lead the way."

It doesn't take long after you turn right to come to another fork in the road, this time it seems like you can choose left or straight. You can see for a while down the straight path until it veers off towards the left, but you can't tell if it ends or not, you also notice that the left path seems to split pretty early.

Gold Anteaters: You have chosen the Right Path!
You feel as if you've walked a good ten minutes, twisting and turning walking around the edges of the maze, turning off to the left then a sharp right and another sharp turn up and to the left, and a u turn down; weaving your way through the maze until finally, finally just when you think you're not going to ever find another fork there's something sitting ahead of you. A little toll both, ran by a puppet? "Ah ah! I hope you have something to give me to pass!" A voice comes from a speaker on the front of the booth. "If you look to the scale. It has to be heavy enough to lift the gate. Better Hurry though, we no idea how far behind you are!"
You can choose to place something in the plate to open the gate. It's blocking the paths ahead. Or you can choose to go back! Quote me when you've made your choice.

Until you reach the middle of the maze, after the middle of the maze the grace periods of having a second chance will run out; (I will note this) and an assistant will come save you. This is more about the RP team work than winning, and I want to make sure that is clear for everyone. However if you go an extra 24 hours over of not posting the participation points for that round are 0.
Please make sure your partner agrees with the choice you make even if your characters do not! It is advisable that you RP with your partners to make your choices. Lassell, looked around his surroundings to see what would be heavy enough to open the gate but not too heavy. He tapped his chin "hmm...We could try a medium sized boulder or perhaps a medium sized diamond" he said looking around some more. He let out a breath and looked over at his partner [b[Lyceum "what do you think we should offer?" he asked her. Waiting for her opinion, it was important to ask for your partner's opinion before making your final decision.

Team Red Jaguars Team Members:Celliwig Buyan - Fill-in + Palatine Choice: Straight
“I was expecting it to be more like it was on the television,” Palatine admitted, “in which case we should be trying to find our way across a swimming pool at the moment, but I guess this works, too.”
It probably wasn't meant to be too much like the show in the first place. She was also probably taking it far too seriously considering she was thirty-eight and should have put all this stuff behind her a long time ago, but whatever. She could nerd out if she wanted to.
But she still tried very hard to look unimpressed, because she didn't really want very many people to know she was nerding out.
“Probably not organic corn,” she said regarding the uncharacteristic rapid growth of the corn. “Wouldn't really be surprised if it was weird alien corn either, considering everything.”
They came upon another fork in the road and were left with the decision to go to the left or straight ahead of them. Palatine closely examined each of their options to try and determine the best one, but as she couldn't see beyond either of the next turns, her observation didn't provide them with much help.
She felt better about walking for a while before coming to the next turn rather than branching off on another turn right away, though, so Palatine motioned ahead of them.
Team Red Jaguars Team Members:Celliwig Buyan - Fill-in + Palatine Choice: Straight
Buyan tilted her head a bit as she thought, "Perhaps they had to take some liberty to keep from getting in trouble? I don't really know how long it'd take to build a rock wall and on the show a lot of them were kids so Niflhel probably wanted to make sure Adults could psychically do the challenges, not everyone is in shape!"
She added with a chuckle, "Ah Organic... you know I don't know, Niflhel only mentioned to someone when I arrived he use to live on a farm. I have no idea when growing seasons start or what not or if he even knew how to do this or if they manged to get someone to help."
She paused as she watched Palatine think before saying they should go straight, "Sure why not!" She answered happily.

Meru was slightly amused at Alfheim; he seemed more displeased about a maze than what she was thinking. "Are you okay? We're in this together, so if one of us is stuck, we'll both be." She smiled. "I wouldn't leave you behind!"
She grabbed his hand and started to go to the left again. Her mentality was simple. Two lefts made a right; she had to be going the 'right' way, right? Ha!

Team Gold Anteaters Team Members: Lassell + Lyceum Choice: Lift the gate
To say Lyseum was less than please was an understatement, but she kept her dislike of the situation underneath a brisk walk and an air of boredom as she followed Lassell past turn after turn. It seemed to take forever to reach what appeared to be a toll booth and Lassell was quick to offer suggestions, but Lyceum wasn't too sure the boy took more than a mere moment to figure it out.
"There could be more to what he is asking for than just handing over a boulder you know," she looked around as she said this and frowned. "We are also in a corn maze, there aren't exactly a lot of boulder's of even rocks lying around or diamonds for the matter."
She eyed the boy cautiously before turning him to look around. All she saw was corn so what else could she really consider. "Lets gather some corn and put it on the scale. Who knows, I forget the saying about corn and gold, but maybe using enough corn will work.

"Things are just moving a little fast," The squire said as he tugged on his collar and cleared his throat.
He had to look down at their hands to fully register that she had grabbed his, but he followed obediently until they rounded their turn. Things were starting to fall into place now, or at least in his head. He stood up on his toes, as if that would help. He wasn't used to not being able to see where he was going. Tall people problems.
"Ah, okay, I think... hm," One left was fine, but they couldn't take another one. "We should probably be careful not to go in a circle."

Prompt: Red Jaguars: You picked the straight path!
The Straight path seemed to be a good idea because as they traveled they twisted and turned, with a few u-turns.. well actually it was all u-turns about four of them, until they came to another choice, both paths were going right and neither of them seemed to go that far.... So the question was Top right or Bottom right path?
Blue Barracudas You have chosen the left path!
As you step onto the left path you notice that the path splits off into two different paths, another left or straight, it also appeared from where they were standing the straight path didn't take long to split off again. The only question was which way to go?
Gold Anteaters: You have chosen corn!
"Ah the gold of the Americas!" The machine seemed satisfied as the weight of the corn slowly lifted the gate.
Now that the gate was lifted the gold anteaters had the problem of decided where they should head next? Top left, bottom left or straight. "Word to the wise, beware the maize, for its not always as simple it appears." The puppet could be heard saying as they walked away.
