Asita slowly trotted towards the tree that was the usual meeting spot of him and his friend, Feng. He had brought along two of his offspring with him to show Feng that he had became a father. The last foal was with their mother, Midnight Shadow, because she had begged him to not take the second son with him. He had complied and only taken his first son and only daughter. Hopefully this visit would be good for all of them. Beside his father, Iregi carefully in pace with his father's careful trot. Every so often he would look back at his sister, the odd ball of the family. His father had told their mother that he had no clue who his parents were but that he might have some kelpi blood-lines in him, hence the reason why his sister had turned out the way that she had. Iregi was a little uncertain of his sister but she was family she he tolerated her to a point. He hoped that their father's friend wasn't a freak like his sister was.

Asita pricked his ears up as he noticed that Feng was already at the tree. He paused for a few seconds to gaze back at his two offspring. "Now, I want you two to behave. This is an old friend of mine and I want you two to be on your best behaviour." He frowned at Iregi and he shoved his nose under the tiny colt's chin. "That means you be nice to your sister, Iregi," he said in a slightly stern tone of voice. Iregi pinned his ears back against his skull but nodded a tiny bit. "Alright, father," he said in a glum tone of voice.

"Alright, let's go," Asita said before he started heading towards the tree again. He smiled warmly at Feng and bobbed his head at the other stallion. "Good morning, Feng," he said in a cheery voice as he came to a stop in front of the other stallion. "How are you doing?" He flicked his tail in the direction of his offspring and Iregi stopped next to his father. He scuffed a hoof on the ground and looked down at the grass. "Hello," he said in a shy tone of voice.

Asita flicked an ear slightly when Feng asked who the fillies are. "Actually, one is a filly and the other is a colt," he started to explain until his daughter interrupted him. He chuckled at Fynn's question and shook his head. "No, Fynn. He is a wind soquili. He can fly." He turned his attention back to Feng who had asked him why Fynn called him 'daddy'. "That is because they are my children. Their mother is Midnight Shadow."

He scuffed a hoof on the ground. He knew that Feng had a crush on his mate but it turned out that Midnight Shadow had chosen him over Feng. "I have another one but he is with Midnight Shadow at the moment. Hopefully you can see him soon." He nodded his head slightly and gazed over at Iregi who had laid down next to him. Sighing, he nudged the colt's side with his muzzle but the tiny foal refused to budge. "Please pardon my son's attitude. He doesn't seem to like anyone that is strange in his eyes, especially his sister."

Asita shrugged his shoulders. "Hopefully he will see that before he grows up. At least most of my offspring are happy," he said in a slightly sad tone of voice. "She is good. Tired from foaling three foals but fine. She is happy to have more offspring. For a moment I thought she would leave me because we were having a hard time with our relationship." He didn't want to tell Feng that they were having trouble concieving children. She knew that she could have kids so Asita thought that the problem lied with him but after a long while they finally had children of their own. "Midnight Shadow's first daughter, Silver Cloud, is happy to have half-siblings."

Asita nodded his head at the hyper part. "Yeah he is. He keeps his mother busy most of the time. Iregi keeps to himself and our third one, Rishi, always is trying to be a good boy." He tilted his head at Fynn's comment about how Iregi thinks that his tail looks weird. "It must be the kelpi side of my family that I don't really know that much about. His mother was surprised at it but she accepted him as he is." Iregi looked up at the two adults as he pinned his ears against his skull but he remained silent. He promised his father that he wouldn't do anything bad so the only way that he found to keep out of trouble was to keep his mouth shut.

"You should see their brother. He looks more like his mother than Iregi does. Iregi is more of a mix between me and Midnight Shadow." He chuckled a bit before moving so that he blocked the sun from making Iregi too overheated.

Iregi shook his head and curled up into a ball. "Go away. Leave me alone," he muttered to his sister. Asista sighed and lightly shoved Fynn away from her brother. "Let's leave your brother alone for a bit, okay? Maybe he might want to play later today." He tilted his head to one side and looked at his daughter curiously. He knew she meant no harm to her brother but he really didn't care for his sister at that moment. Or his brother for that matter. He sighed and turned his attention back to Feng. "So where is Pache? I thought you two never traveled without each other?"

"Yeah, next time we meet I will bring them along," he said, nodding his head. "Nothing really. Silver Cloud brought home a friend, or so she claims. Not really sure if she has taken a liking to him but this stallion is strange. He has his hair woven in an intricate pattern." He shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe they really are just friend and I am overreacting."

Asita nodded his head. "I sure hope that it is only a crush. I don't want Silver Cloud's feelings to get hurt if she did end up falling in love with this strange stallion. I know she isn't my own flesh and blood but she is from Midnight Silver's first brood and she is just like a daughter to me if I sired her myself."

"At least he is sleeping off that sickness. I hope he learned his lesson and not eat anything that has mold on it or smells funny," he said with a slight hint of a chuckle in his voice. "So, anything new with you?"

Asita nodded his head at that. "That is good to hear. A teepee is good to have around, especially if you have a few humans in your group. I know Midight Shadow's human loves to spend time with the little ones. And the strange stallion brought his own human so they are sharing a single teepee." He tilted his head to one side to ponder on that for a few moments before shaking his head. He was overthinking things a little bit.

He heard his daughter call out to him and he half-turned to look at her. "That's good, sweetie," he said to her with a smile on his face. "Having fun?"

Asita shook his head at her daughter's reaction to the frog. "No, sweetie. It is too small to do any harm to you. It is just curious to see you, that's all." He walked a few steps towards the pond before looking back at his son. He could see that Iregi was fast asleep where he had been for the past few minutes. After looking around to see if there weren't any predators around, he continued to walk towards the pond. He gently dipped a hoof in the water, causing the frog to swim away.
