Heidi walked alongside Tuck hand-in-hand, swinging their hands between the two of them and looking up at him with a curious look on her face. He had been there when she'd returned from Halloween with Otto and he had not looked at all pleased. She knew it was just because he'd been worried, because he cared about her, but Heidi wanted to assure him that it was okay! It wasn't a big deal! He didn't need to worry.
She raised their hands to kiss his knuckles, playfully nudging Tuck with her hip and grinning up at him.
"I was super cute, y'know. Even as a zombie." She raised their hands more to do a turn and then moved to walk in front of him, facing her boyfriend and trusting him to not let her trip and fall or to walk into anything. Heidi reached for his other hand to kiss the back of that hand as well. "I had this, like, super short shirt with long sleeves. But it showed off my belly and went all the way up to here.." Still holding Tuck's hand, she showed him where it stopped just under her bust. "I liked it. Maybe I'll see if I can find one like it here, 'cept I think I'll wear a shirt under it.."
Heidi suddenly stopped in front of him, bracing herself for if Tuck didn't catch himself in time.

He was a cranky bear. A cranky, cranky bear. When she'd sent the text that she was going off to Halloween without him he'd immediately gone to the golem room to stop her. Except... she'd kind of been gone, and so instead of chasing after her like a lunatic he'd merely loomed in the room to await her return.
And he hadn't stopped looming since then.
It wasn't that he'd been mad. He'd been worried. Worried sick really - so worried that he'd actually skipped lunch. Yeah, he'd skipped lunch.
"Yeah, I'll just bet you was cute even as a zombie," Tuck didn't sound upset. He was more like.. enjoying her excitement. And her bust. He was so ******** relieved he didn't have to play the jealous boyfriend around Heidi. If she dressed scantily around the island to piss him off, it'd be different - but she didn't, so he didn't feel the need to be a d**k about it.
When Heidi suddenly stopped, Tuck did too - a moment before he nearly stepped on her foot. He watched her, brows raised questioningly.

Oh thank god! He didn't sound so grumpy! Heidi actually sighed with relief and squeezed Tuck's hands, stepping up to him after he had stopped walking until their bodies were touching. "You're upset," Heidi mused when she caught that look on his face. "I'm sorry."
She let go of his hands and reached up to drape her arms over his shoulders. Heidi pulled herself up for a kiss. "I'd have given more warning if it had been a planned trip. Next time it'll be me and you~." She smiled.

"More worried. I know I shouldn't be. Can't help it. It's kinda scary thinkin' about you over there, even though I know you gonna be careful. I guess it's good practice, anyway. I really gotta focus if we on a mission, an' you too, just so nothin' happens to neither of us."
He was still a little cranky, but he'd get over it.
"I know you didn't do it on purpose." Tuck shrugged. "What you wanna do today?"
He paused.
"You wanna cook me dinner tonight?"
Oh, so hopeful.

"But that's the awesome thing about it! I wasn't..like...actually over there! Those golems are so awesome. None of them ever realized what I was! It was so easy!" Heidi was grinning again. She was glad he wasn't angry.
Hm..what did she want to do? "Weeee could train? Orrr..oh, dinner? Yeah, sure. Whatcha wanna eat?" He sounded so hopeful! It was adorable! She giggled and slid her hands down Tuck's arms until she found his hands again.

Tuck thought about what they could do, and one thing came to mind. It involved a naked, broad chest. It involved near nudity. It involved a little experimentation. It would probably not end well.
"W-golems. You do them yet?"
He wasn't sure why he was suggesting it, but Herryk has perked up considerably.
"Grilled cheese."
Tuck leaned down to kiss Heidi softly on the chin. That ******** giggle was going to be the end of him.

Heidi perked up curiously. "W-golems? No! Those're..the weapon ones, right?" She could feel Matilda's attention focus then.
"I can do grilled cheese easy. D'you want anything extra? Ham? Tomato?" She smiled at the kiss she was given and tilted her head to catch Tuck's mouth for a light kiss. It was a quick kiss, nothing crazy. "So what do we do for the W-golems? I think Matilda's excited about it."

Tuck talked as he led Heidi to where the golems were kept in the labs. It didn't take long for them to reach the pristine room.
"Nothin' special. You just wear the bracelet thing, an' we got an hour or so. I ain't sure about specifics on how this all works. I just know you put this on," he handed Heidi one, "an' then you got a walkin' talkin' weapon. You first."
He was curious about Matilda - and worried about what Herryk might say. Never not embarrassing.

She followed alongside Tuck, reaching up to brush Matilda's totem with her fingers. Walking, talking weapon? Like..outside of her head. That would be interesting. Heidi took the cuff bracelet she was handed and put it on, fastening it as she was brought up to a pod. The tech input the necessary information for her and turned the pod on.
From out of the pod came a young woman the same height as Heidi, though she did not share the same shape as her. She had an hourglass-shaped body that was covered in a long, clingy white dress that dragged on the floor. Her skin was so pale it was almost pure white, her eyes were a dark red, and her hair was...
Wow. She had a lot of hair.
It was pale and airy, long curls that bounced as the young woman climbed out of the pod...and nearly fell to the ground with a cry of surprise.
Heidi gasped and reached out to catch the woman. "Whoa! I've gotcha!"
Matilda made a sound of displeasure. "What hath they done to me? My feet! They touch the floor like a common lumpish, guts-griping, varlot!" She complained dramatically. Matilda swooned in Heidi's arms, the back of her hand laying against her forehead as she made poor Heidi carry all of her weight.
The blonde grunted and dragged her away from the pod. "I-I don't think golems can fly, Matilda. I'm sorry," Heidi explained sympathetically to the distraught Banshee. Matilda sighed and pushed off Heidi, straightening herself out and glancing at the ghoul..and then at Tuck. She tapped at her chin and looked the young man up and down.
Disapproval.
"O! My young mistress!" She suddenly cried, her voice screeching slightly. Heidi was suddenly pulled into a tight hug without any warning. "That lout hath ruined thine virtue! Oh, the things I would do if he ever hurt you!"
Heidi blinked. "Don't you mean thee--" Matilda hugged her tighter. She squeaked. "YouisfineIseewhatyoudiditrhymeshaha..!"

Tuck watched everything with wide eyes, not really paying attention to the tech that slapped a bracelet on him before boredly inputting information for Tuck's pod. He really wasn't sure what he'd been expecting when it came time to really meet Matilda, but this certainly hadn't been it. He had to admit, it was kind of cracking him up that they both had weapons that spoke so weird.
....did she just call him a lout??!
"Hey, now, waaaait a minute, I just --"
There was a whoosh, and suddenly there was a Herryk. He slid out of the pod and straightened his cape before worrying about his slightly askew loincloth. All nearly seven feet of him straightened next to Tuck, fairly dwarfing the Moon in the process. He crossed his arms over his chest and watched Heidi and Matilda before glancing over at Tuck.
"Theodore has not ruined any virtues," Herryk proclaimed, lifting his eyebrows.
"Dude, now is not --"
"Theodore wishes to, but Theodore is a good boil, and so he is being patient because this is what Heidi wishes."
"Oh. My. God."
Tuck buried his face in his hands. His voice was muffled when he spoke.
"This was a terrible idea."

Matilda ignored Tuck's protest. She stood back and gave Heidi her full attention, cupping the girl's face and leaning in with narrowed eyes. Heidi just blinked and stared at her weapon. It was weird seeing her face-to-face. Usually she was just..well...a bow.
They both looked up when they heard an unfamiliar voice. Heidi's jaw dropped. That was Herryk? He was a giant! She freed herself from Matilda, the golem's hands had fallen away anyway as they both just..
Holy crap, dude.
Herryk's words finally hit Heidi and the girl blushed. Yes, she was aware that Tuck wanted to, and she was eternally grateful he was willing to wait and that he wasn't an a** about it. Oh god. Matilda huffed, blowing hair from her face and putting her hands on her hips. Poor Tuck looked mortified. "It was your idea~" Heidi grinned, sneaking away from Matilda's side to gently take hold of Tuck's wrists and pull his hands away from his face. She hopped up on her tiptoes to give him a quick kiss on the tip of his nose. "I'm sure it'll be fun, just uh.." She looked Herryk's way.
Huge.
Matilda approached the other three. She felt a bit awkward on her feet and she really would have preferred to be able to float and phase through things. Sigh.
"So thou art Herryk..thine Tuck is a good boil, you say?" Matilda spoke directly to the weapon, trusting him more than what a human who was not her own hunter would say. She may have also been eyeing his shoulder. It looked like it could possibly be a comfortable perch for someone who was not used to walking around.
Meanwhile, Heidi had laced her fingers through Tuck's and was standing close to him while she watched the two weapons meet, whispering to him. "He's huge, Tuck." Suddenly she smirked and looked up at the man. "No wonder he chose you."

"Wasn't one of my better ones," Tuck grumbled softly, squinting down at Heidi when she kissed his nose. He tightened his fingers through hers and fell silent, watching Herryk. It still kind of struck him, sometimes, that Herryk was his weapon. He was pretty surreal to look at... but then again, so was Matilda with all that hair.
And they both had the weirdest ******** speech patterns.
Tuck dipped down to whisper softly, ""I'm sorry. He just. Doesn't have a real good filter."
Meanwhile, Herryk was watching Matilda with a very knowing look. "Yes. Theodore is a good boil. Theodore is very fond of Heidi. Theodore even sometimes wonders if he is in--"
"WEEEELLLLLLLL time to go."
Herryk stooped to pick Matilda up because there was no way that Heidi could carry the golem. She didn't seem very steady on her feet.
"Where is Theodore taking Herryk and Heidi and Matilda?"
"OUTSIDE."

"Don't worry, it's okay." Maybe after this initial awkward it would be fun! It would just take getting used to. She blinked, looking up at Tuck after he apologized. Why was he apologizing? Sure, what Herryk said was embarrassing, but it was just the tw--er...four of them. It wasn't a big deal. As long as he didn't share anything personal about her with people outside of the four of them.
"Tuck, really, it's fine," Heidi assured him with a laugh, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
Theodore is very fond of Heidi. She smiled more. Theodore even sometimes wonders if he is in-- what?
Matilda's brow raised. She was curious about the end of that sentence. In what? Heidi was more confused thank anything. Why had Tuck interrupted Herryk?
Heidi was content to hold Tuck's hand and follow him outside, though she was still giving him a very curious look. Matilda happily allowed Herryk to pick her up. "I thank thee. Walking on one's feet is strange and foreign, it is not something I have done in quite some time."
Heidi glanced back at the golems. "Usually Matilda tries to rhyme more. She's not very good at it..you're fond of me~." She squeezed Tuck's hand and smiled up at him. Best boyfriend ever. "Does he always talk like that?"

"Always. And sometimes I start to answer back soundin' just like him, too. Theodore this, Theodore that." Tuck shook his head, a pinkish color tinging his cheeks. Totally blushing. "I just wanted you to meet him. An' I wanted to meet Matilda. Since. You know, we're serious an' all." His voice softened, "An' of course I'm ..fond. Of you." Fond didn't begin to describe it, Tuck thought to himself before he cleared his throat and glanced over his shoulder.
"Feels like I gotta be ready to punch him in the face every time he opens his damn mouth. If he says anything that upsets you, I'm never doin' this again."
Herryk was strolling a safe distance behind the pair, holding Matilda on his shoulder like she was some strange sort of bird. A hairy bird.
"These bodies are so unwieldy," Herryk began, "and there is no fighting in these bodies - Theodore tells Herryk if that if something happens to this body, there would be much money to pay as restitution. Herryk did want to spar with his Theodore, but it is not allowed."
The draugr sounded just. Inconsolable.

Aw, that was so cute! "I like Theodore, it's a nice name." Was he blushing?! Ahh! Adorable! He almost never did that! She had to hold her breath to keep from giggling. "He's interesting. What was he? He looks like a viking or something." Or something. They were serious. She liked that. Heidi raised their hands to put Tuck's arm around her shoulders with a happy little sigh. "So far he hasn't done anything wrong. As long as he doesn't talk about, you know, what we did the other night..out loud for everyone to hear..." She looked up at Tuck. It wasn't shame, it was that it was no one's business but their own. And if Herryk had no filter that did seem to be kind of concerning.
"What'd you wanna do while we have our two tagalongs, then? Dinner?"
Matilda rest her arm on Herryk's head while she perched delicately on the larger golem's shoulder. This was much better. "These humans have strange money. 'Tis a shame there is no fighting to be had, though I can see why t'would be bad." There we go, back to normal. "Dost thou partake in these golem activities, Herryk?"
