 Emerald skin blended within the lush green of the Ithyl Forest foliage, unmoving within the grass. Laying down to watch the sky, the only thing to give her away was the yellow of her hands and legs. Unfortunately, such stark yellow was not commonly found in a forest, and was thus a dead giveaway. But this wasn't as populated as the beach or Loki Nei, and so she expected to finally get the peace she so desperately searched for. Like this, away from everyone, she could finally be herself. A serene expression on her face, her mind making animals out of clouds in childlike fashion. She listened to the hum of the forest, felt the heat of the sun and inhaled the sweet smell of wildflowers. This was paradise. The demonic closed her eyes as she began to hum to herself, a cheery action not a soul had ever seen her do.

 How the male wound up in the forest he wasn't sure, but he was delicately stepping over roots and other obstacles holding the front of his skirt up a little as he navigated through the foliage trying to find his way back out of the forest. His silent movement's sounds only broken by that of nature, and then of the female voice to one side of him. Lin moved quietly towards the voice stopping to peer around a tree to find out who it's source was. Yes he'd seen other demon pae, but definitely none like the one that his gaze landed upon. His brow raised a tiny as he took in the site, the antennae with the odd ends and the leafy-like tail tip. He said nothing as he tried to stay relatively concealed and watch her.

The tune had never been sung before, never even thought as she created it out of thin air. It was lighthearted, almost soothing to match the serenity that was her at that moment. Humming away, losing herself in the moment, enjoying the day...then she got a strange feeling. Nothing sounded different, nothing seemed out of place but...her emerald eyes flicked open as she stopped her humming. She felt like she was being watched...and not by the local wildlife. Cressida smoothly sat up, her green wings expanding in a stretch. As she gazed around her, she frowned. No one...but...that's strange... She really felt like she wasn't just by herself anymore. After another moment passed however, she laid back down. Paranoia apparently was getting to her, disturbing her good mood.

Lin kept out of sight fiddling slightly with the butterfly necklace he wore even as she sat up, he was disappointed to hear the song stop. When it seemed obvious she wasn't going to continue the song he peaked around the tree, seeing that she'd lay back down he stepped out from behind the tree, "Please tell me you didn't stop your lovely song on my account" His voice was as feminine as practice had allowed him to make it as it escaped his lips.

She looked to the sky as a sigh escaped her lips, beginning to relax once more as she convinced herself it truly was all paranoia. After all, she was out in the middle of the forest. Just relax, forget about all your troubles. It's oka...y?! The female suddenly sat up, head snapping around in a blur of red and green. Oh. Oh no. Oh no, no. A look of pure horror flashed upon her face as she realized what had just happened. The black and yellow female had heard her humming. But that look of shock and distress didn't last long as all too soon it was replace by a cold glare. "We're you spying on me?" The nerve of the girl!

"What? No, I uh, I just heard the song as I moved through the underbrush trying to find my way back out of here. It was lovely, I had to stop and listen" Lin fidgeted, he hadn't expected the cold glare that was boring into him from the female on the forest floor "I'm Lin" he tried the approach of introducing himself maybe it would break the glare she held. The demon's wings flexed slightly the yellow speckles across the black surfaces of his wings almost seemed to flicker even though solid and truly un-moving.

Slowly the female stood, her gaze steadily moving to take in her intruder of solitude; scrutinizing. A pretty little blonde with big bright eyes. In thirty seconds the antennae'd pae had already formed an opinion on the other, which undoubtedly was unflattering. Unfortunately Lin had gotten off to a bad start, not that there had been any chance of getting off on a good foot. "Well the show's over, so you can get back to being lost." Any more venom and Cressida could have been a snake.

Lin blinked and stared at her, did he do something wrong? "Wh-what? I didn't mean to offend you" Being this close he had a perfectly good view of her antennae, they were even more different then anything he'd ever seen. He took one step back and tripped over a root extending from the tree he had stepped out from behind and his eyes went wide with surprise as he started to topple backwards.

The strange antennae from her head gave a snap, seeming just as foreboding as the female. "Too late for that. Get going." No sooner had she said that then Lin took a fall. It was too perfect. The demonic actually smiled in a bit of glee. Karma does exist! Serves her right for intruding. She made her way to the fallen demonic, softly tsking down at her. "What are you doing way out here anyway? In a dress. Trying to take a shortcut to a fashion show?" Not that there were any fashion shows on the island. At least, she didn't think so. Cressida never was one to keep tabs on social aspects of the island.

He landed hard on his butt and then back, "Ouch" he says as he pushed up to a partial sitting position. He looked up at the scary pae above him and listened to her tsking. Truly this female didn't seem to like him, did someone hearing her humming really bother her that much? "I always wear pretty dresses, this just happens to be one of my favorites. I uh am kinda lost..." He didn't yet try to stand back up, he was almost worried those snapping antennae would go after him if he got too close.

So...the other liked wearing multiple dresses? The thought was an odd one. Dresses were cumbersome; couldn't run, climbing was difficult, and it would constantly snag on things. What if there was an evil pae or animal around? She'd be helpless. There really was nothing in that pretty little head was there? The female sighed as she straightened, her arms folding across her chest. "Lost. You're lost." Why in the name of Gaia did she keep ending up in these situations? She wasn't a pae-sitter. "You have wings. That can fly. Why don't you fly up through the trees to get a bearing of where you are? Or better yet...fly straight out of the woods?" She flexed her own yellow tipped appendages to accentuate her point. They weren't there for just show after all.
OOC: @.@ Don't hate me for Cressida's mean mouth! She's not a very nice lady gonk Scaring poor Lin.

Lin blinked fly? why hadn't he thought of this, now he felt kinda stupid, but in hindsight, being lost... he really shoulda done just that. He blushed though it was not very visible due to his coloring except on the one side of his face where the yellow speckles seemed to turn an orangey hue. "It er... didn't cross my mind really." he waited for a moment then moved to stand "I don't... fly much" well technically it was more he didn't want to give away the fact he was far from female if someone should happen to see up his skirt.. so he avoided flying as much as he could.

A yellow hand delicately raised to rub her eyes, a sigh slipping from her lips. It wasn't that she couldn't fly, it was because she simply had no brains. Trouncing through the forest -in a long skirted dress no less-, getting lost in a rather small forest, not having a single thought to fly... The other was like a child. It looked as thought Cressida was stuck pae-sitting to make sure Lin got to...where ever she was going. "Okay...okay. Where are you trying to go?" It was rather uncharacteristic of her to care about any other pae, but her earlier tranquility was already destroyed and if anything were to happen to the empty headed blond...well she probably wouldn't get a good nights sleep that night. Besides, the sooner she got rid of Lin the sooner she can get back on with her life.

"Out of here I guess." He started pointing in random directions not sure which direction he was going to go now. Oh great now he was lost to the point of not even being sure which way was out "I guess homeward, uhm..." he tries to look up to the sky but the foliage is too dense. "I live in the city whichever way that is" he looked back to the odd demon with a sheepish grin
