There was something kind of overwhelming about breaking down her loom.
It had been with her for many, many years, and it had been handed down through the family, and through all of her sisters. It also held a strong tie to the person she used to be. Maybe giving it away was symbolic…in addition to being utterly conveniently, but definitely symbolic. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to weave anymore, it was just that she didn’t have the time or the patience right now, not while she was in a transition. Plus, letting go of something that belonged to her past well…it was something.
The reaper bagged up the pieces and hoisted the weighty thing onto her back. She also grabbed a large bin of thread she wasn’t going to need anytime soon, and left her dorm to make her way to the monster dorms.
Once she navigated her way to Junko’s room, the ghoul knocked, and waited, shifted the large bundle on her back.

A loom! Junko was getting a loom! A real one! She could make her own cloth all the cloth oh Jack this was the best gift ever! A loom was something she did occasionally think about getting but she would have no idea how to use it, she had never done it before. She had no idea Hel had a loom!
And so she spent the entire time between her last exchange with Hel and hearing a knock on the door clearing out a space for the loom to be set up. She packed more knick knacks into boxes ready to leave once she was graduated. Books, movies, stuffed toys, clothes she knew for sure she would not be wearing in the immediate future, things like that. They joined the boxes that were building up in one corner of the room.
When she heard the knock she hurried to the door. It was probably the first time in a long time Junko actually looked delighted to see Hel. "Hi~! Come in, come in~!" She was overjoyed. On cloud nine. She couldn't wait to start learning how to use her new loom. She saw the bundle on Hel's back and squealed with delight. Was that it? It must have been it!

Junko’s happiness to see her wasn’t lost on her, and the ghoul looked surprised for a moment before it faded into amusement. Hel snorted softly, and shook her head a bit. “Hey.” She greeted back, rather tame right now for being well…Hel. She moved into the ghoul’s room, and paused, looking around briefly before turning back to Junko.
“Where do you want to set this up?” She asked.

That was it. Junko gestured to a large empty space near the foot of her bed. The table that had once stood there had now been moved to stand upright against a nearby wall where her piano, now returned, had stood covered since her first year. Except for her clothing the ghoul seemed to be almost ready to move out. "Over here~! Ohhh! Thank you so much for this, Hel!" She clapped her hands and bounced on her toes, even her hair was curling with excitement.

“Ah…okay!” Hel moved over to the foot of Junko’s bed, and then carefully slid the loom off of her back. She placed it onto the floor, and then giant plastic container on the ghoul’s bed. She heaved a sigh, relieved from having the thing off of her back, and knelt. The ghoul waved a hand to wave her off. No need to gush and thank her…
“Ya, ya.” She replied, and then waved her over. “I brought it over in pieces because it is easier to transport that way…and you will most likely want to break it down again when you graduate…so I am going to show you how to set it up, because then you will be able to break it down after learning that.” The reaper then set to unwrapping the sturdy leather bag it came in, and set out all the loom’s pieces. She then micro-managed the ghoul as she made her set it up.
By the end of it, there was a pretty little sturdy loom sitting at the end of Junko’s bed, and Hel’s expression looked unreadable before she shook her head. “Well done.” She commented, and then riffled through the box she put on Junko’s bed, and pulled out a spool of thread.
Hel then took a seat on one end of the bench, and patted the spot next to her.
“Now the real practice begins.”

Junko was a quick learner and she was very eager to know how to put the loom together. She wanted to learn how to use it right away. Her excitement was palpable and she was still in disbelief that Hel was just giving this to her. "So why are you giving this up?" Junko asked with amazement. Why would anyone give one of these up? It was still in wonderful condition!
At the promise of practice Junko happily sat down beside Hel on the bench. "Yes, please~!"

“I think I outgrew it.” Hel replied with a shrug. Which seemed an odd statement, but Hel was talking life-changing wise. She didn’t dwell on it though, for as soon as Junko was sitting down beside her, she set to teaching the ghoul how to weave. This was what probably ate up the most of their time. The reaper made sure to start the ghoul off incredibly slow, making her repeat and say the steps over and over and over again. Once she was satisfied, Hel relented on her, and leaned back, stretching.
“So just keep doing that, alright? I know it seems ******** slow and tedious, but once that pattern and rhythm of actions becomes second nature to you, you will get faster, I promise.”

Outgrowing it seemed reasonable. Junko didn't even know Hel knew how to do this kind of thing, it seemed too domestic for a ghoul like Hel. She focused on learning how to weave, very eagerly hanging on to Hel's every word. Practice, practice, practice. She was more than happy to do that. "Ahh! This is so much fun! I can't wait to see what I can do with this! Usually I just buy fabric and if I need something I couldn't find I do what I can to fix it. Like painting my own designs on, or patching it together." She stopped working the loom for a moment to throw her arms around Hel in a tight hug. "You just made my life so much easier! Thank you so much, Hel!"

Hel just sat next to the ghoul, watching her as she worked the loom, idly twiddling her thumbs together. Junko looked pretty natural sitting there, and the reaper knew she had dropped this off into good hands. She nodded her head a bit, smiling as Junko spoke. She was sure the ghoul would find all the different ways to pattern and make different fabrics and what not. She didn’t doubt that for a moment. The reaper yelped as Junko suddenly threw her arms around her, not really expecting that at all. The reaper stiffened for a moment before she relaxed, her arms lowering and one coming to rest around Junko, patting her on the back. She snorted softly. Hel making someone’s life easier. That was kinda funny. “Ya, ya, you are welcome.” She replied. She was quiet for a moment before she looked around Junko’s dorm room again. “…Your room looks like mine.” She commented. “…Getting ready to leave as well?”

When Hel pointed out the state of her room Junko released her to also look around, a tiny smile tugging at the corner of her lips. She was getting ready to leave, yes. Junko was so ready to leave, she was so ready to be done with school. It wasn't that she hated it here she was just ready to move on with her life and live in the real world, a world that was hopefully less life threatening than school.
A world that wasn't concerned about conflict with Hunters, with the rights and wrongs of getting to know them, with constant secrets that came up and tried to bite them in the a**, or high school drama.
There was just one problem.. "Yes, I am...I just uh..need a place to live when I do graduate. I can't go back to my parents, and I most certainly can't go to Seiji's. I don't want to be a burden on any of my friends either. I've been looking, just it's..well...it's harder than I thought it would be."

Hel’s gaze shifted back to Junko, and she tilted her head. “Ah, I see…but that is coming up rather quickly so…” Hel trailed off, and then tilted her head the other way, her brows furrowing. “…Harder than you thought? How so?”
The reaper wasn’t sure how it could be hard…but then again, she didn’t exactly go that route either.

"Well..I need a place I can fit my work in until Lizzy and I find somewhere to set up shop. I don't need a lot of space because it will be just my minipets and me, but I don't want a place I'll feel cramped and unhappy in...and it can't cost me an arm and a leg, and the nicer stuff I'm looking at does cost quite a bit.."
It was hard.
Part of the problem could have been demon realtors seeing an easy mark.

“Ah…I see.” Hel hummed a moment, before she idly rolled her shoulders. “Well, I can go look with you…you are just looking for something in town, ya? That would not be any trouble.” Plus Hel would not be bowled over by any kind of realtor…nor would she let anyone steam roll Junko either.
Also, not like Hel had anything better to do, plus her home was secured.

Junko blinked. A loom, now this? Hel would really help her with this? Her face lit up with joy again. Hel was being so nice! Where had this come from? Oh well, she wouldn't question it. She'd just bask in the glory that was a nice Hel. "I..I'd love that! Yeah! Just something in town is all, I'm not really going far. That would be so awesome of you, Hel! Thank you!"

Hel wasn’t sure she liked that weird look on Junko’s face, but whatever. She idly waved a hand. “Ya, ya. Just let me know when you want to go…I am good for anytime after nine in the morning every day.” The reaper stretched.
“My room is cleaned and packed, and I already have my cottage secured, so it is fine.”
