 ((It's no biggy for me to start. I can't wait to see what unfolds. *squeals*)) Acorna had decided to wander out from her Lords domain and take a peek at the outside world. Maybe she would finally come across another Pockettu who could love her for her, or even just a best friend who wouldn't fawn over her like a lost puppy with empty devotion. She sighs lightly and flicks a golden lock of hair behind her shoulder, baby blue eyes looking about with wonderment of her surroundings. This world really was astonishing.

 (I'm setting this a bit before he goes to see Syrridan, my posts won't be this big in the future, I tend to like to put in a lot of detail and had to stop myself from giving you a novelette *lol*) *It was good to be alone at last, free of that Abyss whence he came... It had been about a week now, that he'd made his escape to the upper world. A lot of it though seemed to be in such a turmoil that he'd nearly turned back... but as it was it was distracting enough to the other Pockettu that he was able to get away from the clear cut battle fields and to a place no one had seemed to go. It was nice here, it smelled not foul in the slightest, so unlike his home... there was a cool breeze of a stream that gurgled happily near by. He'd been living in this grotto, of apple trees, living off the fruit, finding much more to his liking then what he'd had to eat before. Currently the pink hued demon boy sat on a low branch in an apple tree, one leg hanging and his tail, that looked like it was shaped like a heart at the ending barb, swayed back and forth in the breeze, crunching into a bright red apple that he had clutched in both of his hands, seemingly unaware of the unicorn-taur near by.*

(Okies!) Keeping in mind to stray away from the war going on, Acorna found herself coming across the small grotto full of life. Her eyes sparkled as she walked to the little stream, curling her front legs down so that she could dip her fingers into the cool water. "Oooh, this is nice." She giggles and stands up once more, touching a hoof daintily to the water with another giggle.

*Freezing in the tree at the sound of the unicorn approaching, he gulped down his half chewed bit of apple hard... it went down the wrong pipe and he started to choke, dropped the apple to the ground it rolled away, his hands flying to his throat as he struggled to get the bit of apple out, losing his balance he fell too, into an ungraceful heap of pink on the ground*

Letting out an unladylike shriek, Acorna whirls around to see what had startled her. Much to her dismay, she loses her footing and tumbles into the water, resulting in another shriek. It took her a moment to scramble out of the water and take a look around. She found herself staring at a heap of pink on the ground and realized that the being was choking. "Oh my goodness!" She scrambles over and scoops him up, standing him upright to preform the heimlich manuever. "Come on now, spit it out."

*If only he'd hit the ground a little harder, he would have knocked the object from blocking his lungs, rolling around on the ground, struggling to no avail, he somewhat heard the other exclaim a couple times, but he was a bit preoccupied with dying and all... it wasn't pleasant, he'd been strangled before but not by an apple! As well the only hands around his throat at the moment were his own... But then he felt himself being lifted, and getting a bit wet since she'd just fumbled around in the stream... she was doing something and he couldn't help but tense up in fear... even as she helped him he didn't realize it. He'd never been helped before in all his life... the apple flew from between his lips and he started to gasp and choke for breath, hacking and coughing... trembling violently in fear... "please..." he managed to get out before he started to choke and gasp again... He knew begging was bad, it only made things worse, but he couldn't help... a life time of being tormented and tortured by his kind had left it's mark on him as well as usually the first thing creatures attempted to do when they saw a demon was kill it... so he spent a lot of time running... he just couldn't do that very well now... * (I know it's long, sorry! I have to go to sleep, sorta 'that time for me' so no need to hurry a reply, I'll be back in a few hours *huggles*)

((No worries, I adore reading long posts. It inspires me to do more myself. *grin* As for now, after this I'm finishing up dinner and crawling into bed. I got the morning shift tomorrow and then errands. Yipee. crying )) When she was sure the item was dislodged from the creatures throat she releases him gently to the ground, letting him catch his breath. Her ears flick forward when she heard the 'please' and frowns, "I didn't push too hard did I?" She leans down, wet locks sticking to the side of her face, blue eyes worrying that she'd hurt him more. She was always such a tender being and it scared her when she may have hurt someone.

*He didn't resist her as she lowered him to the ground, shivering violently... Like a child trembling in the dark for fear of monsters he curled in on himself, exposing as little of himself as he could for the attack that he was sure was about to come... there was a tone to her voice though, soft... so very soft... maybe a hint of fear there too but strangely it wasn't directed at him.... it was...almost as if she were afraid that she'd hurt him... canting his head to the side, allowing his profile to be seen. The blindfold that covered his eyes and part of his slim nose. full dusty rose kissed lips. That wild dark hair with bits of twig and grass it in from the fall and many nights of camping on top of it... "....y....you didn't...well... hard enough to get it out... but..." she see his throat convulse as he gulped...it may seem silly of him to beg this, but for all he knew, it was possible... "please don't hurt me, I'll go... I will..." he whispered and tried to regain his breath, ducking down his head with is tail tucked under him, between his legs like a whipped dog.*

Now she was confused. "Why would I hurt you?" Greatfull that she hadnt' hurt him, but more so confused now, she curls herself up on the ground beside him. He was shaking so badly it was ridiculous. "You haven't done anything to me to make me even want to hurt you, silly boy." She grins, noting that he had a blindfold over his eyes. "What are you doing all the way out here, there is a war going on and you could get hurt." The unicorn in her wanted to heal whatever hurt was causing him, but the hurt in her wanted to find out way he was hurting before she did. She started picking out pieces of twig and grass from his crazy hair. "There is no reason for you to go at the moment, you've done nothing wrong."((*sips coffee and eyes the clock* I reeeeeally don't like this early morning stuff. -__- ))

*She.... wasn't going to hurt him? Silly? "Everyone does...." he spoke the words barely above a whisper... tensing as she'd reach for him, expecting to be struck, actually bracing himself for it... He didn't like to fight back, hardly ever did... he was a gentle creature despite what he was... much to the amusement of his kind... But she didn't hit him, she just plucked a bit of twig from his hair... his face pinched... Well, maybe she wasn't his kind... not hateful and cruel... but... "aren't you scared of me?" he asked, a bit incredulous that she'd just sit there and talk to him... instead of screaming and trying to 'kill the monster'* (Tell me about it. -.- i wanna go back to sleep nao)

((It's not like I hate my job, it's just very stressful. If I make a serious mistake, someone could literally die and I could go to prison. *shudders* Pharmacy Tech. Yaaaaay.)) "Well, everyone has their own opinion on things. I for one don't agree with more of the violent ones." She hums for a moment, running her fingers through his hair as she checks for more twigs and dirt. His hair was so soft to her it was amazing. "And no, I'm not scared of you. I'm sorry if I frightened you out of the tree. I tend to get carried away with the simple things in life." Acorna giggles again, humming once more.((*whines at the clock* I dun wanna gooooooo! *clings to the computer as life drags away* I won't be on until MUCH later tonight. Not looking forward to that either - so much hate for mondays. crying *poofs*))

*It felt...nice... he caught himself leaning into her hand as she brushed the debris from his wild ebony hair...he'd never been touched so gently before, it was a strange feeling and not unpleasant at all... he really didn't want it to stop... and her voice, it was... strange, it wasn't harsh, piercing or grating.... it was like... all the opposite of those things he knew... could he really dare to hope that he'd found some one that wouldn't be afraid of him... and wouldn't hurt him? It was almost too good to be true... His face puckered up... no, he couldn't dare... could he? Oh he couldn't help it, he liked the soft sounds she made with her voice... all of it so alien to him... he didn't want her to stop talking "Me either, I don't like the hurting part... I don't hurt people.. I don't like being hurt..." he'd give a bit of a whimper, his voice soft, "you... seem so...so..." he didn't have a word for it! "not cruel... or hurting... or taunting... well you did call me silly but I guess that's not bad because there -is- a war going on, like you said...so... yeah, but it is safer here... No one you and some wild animals come here....I've been alone for a couple days... it's not scary..." more words to struggle with, "well, falling out of the tree and choking was..." he really was silly wasn't he? He could feel his face heating up... sort of like when .... he didn't want to think of those things! He shoved the memories from his mind... this was different... "I'm sorry... you laugh strange... it's... um... not mean... you know? And... you make funny sounds with your mouth... why do you do this?" he'd hum a little... it sounded not bad and it... didn't feel bad either, it was a surprise that his lips tingled with the humming sound "oh!..." one of his clawed fingers, lifting to his mouth, chewing on it nervously, "that felt... um.... different..." his face screwed up "like getting smacked... but no pain... weird..." tilting his head to the side he hummed again... it was hard to do with his claw in his mouth... * (*lol* It's horrible! Poor thing, I hope you had a good day at work... *petpet...eyes her demon boy* he knows nothing of anything good... very naive in the ways of the non-violent even though he's not violent himself. He's too used to being a victim... *pets him... he cowers...Kor sighs* yeah, we'll work on that. Edit: OMG... *lol* got carried away again xp )

(( *chuckle* No problem, Kor.)) Acorna tilts her head to the side, curious about this creature more and more. He was...unique, that was for sure. Just listening to him talk gave her an insight that he had been beyond emotionally and physically abused. Her heart cried out for him, her ears drooping for a moment only to perk up again as he 'hums'. "There are many things about this world you have yet to learn, I take it." She giggles softly, pleased with cleaning his hair out she moves to dust off bits of dirt and rubble that clung to his skin. "The word you were looking for was 'nice', or 'pleasant'."

*He'd cant his head towards her, though she couldn't see his eyes or ears because of the blindfold it was obvious that he was looking at her in his own way.. "So...." he'd swallow, testing out the words on his tongue... "you are... nice.... and pleasssant...." her touch was so soft, like nothing he'd ever felt before... drawing his knees up to his chest and wrapping his arms around them as she'd brush him off... seemingly lulled by her soft caress... that was until she got near his spine, his heart tipped tail started to twitch... and then his wings fluttered a bit.... "Hee Hee Eiii!..." his own giggle seemed to have startled himself... making him jump a bit at the sound of it. "I did what you did! That felt strange!" rolling around his shoulders and settling back down to enjoy the closeness of another that didn't bring him pain.*

Laughing softly at how he was ticklish on his back, Acorna continues to watch him, curious about the creature. "That would be called 'tickles'. It's a sensitive spot on the body, and it's different for everyone, that causes them an immense sensation to laugh and squirm." Feeling content that he was relatively dusted off, she settles back to enjoy his company. "So, may I ask your name? I am called Acorna."
