◆ In order to fight in the coliseum you need a be part of an established house.
◆ Not just anybody is allowed to grace the sand.
◆ Your master marks you like the property you are and after you are given your mark only then can you fight for your freedom back.
◆ Being a gladiator is hard work and moving up the stages will be even harder.
◆ This is a mini-game as well as a social class. With all social classes there is an rp requirement to move up a stage.

___________________ORDER AMONGST THE CHAOS___________________

✙ RULES & REGULATIONS ✙

No god modding. This can not be stressed enough if your roll deems you the winner fine. But don't do impossible things knowing full well your character is not capable of doing them. Discuss it with your rp partner after the roll to figure out how the fight will end.

◆ Modifiers earned can only be applied to the stage you earned them in.

◆ If you don't max out your stat for your current stage then you can try at the next stage.

◆ You have to rp everything out. This is just a mini game, yes it is a pretty cut and dry game, but you still need to roleplay the fight out to earn points. This your chanters lifestyle and jobs so just rolling a dice will not cut it if you want to grow..

◆ If you want to participate in a PvP/npc battle plus post a request in the appropriate thread.

◆ A moderate will need to post the first post for each battle against a npc. Npcs each have their own limits so keep an eye on that. You need to at least hit the rp minimum (will link to that when it is up) when you fight against a npcs. Make sure to link finished battles in your journal.

◆ You need to also hit the rp minimum in all of your PvP battles. The first post must be made by the mode so each battle can be recorded.

          ◆ Thread titles:
◆ [Challenge]: This means the fight hasn't started and/or you are waiting for somebody to challenge your gladiator to a fight.
◆ [Bets:] You haven't rolled the dice and spectators can take bets on who will win.
◆ [Rolled]: Yo rolled but you haven't started your role playing yet.
◆ [Bout]: You rolled the dice it is all set and you have already started your rp.
◆ [Officiate]: You finished your rping and you're waiting for a staff to look it over and award stats.
◆ [Winner (insert players name)]: Thread closed, staffers went over it now go start your next bout.

✙ BASIC of the Coliseum✙

◆ PvP fights: ◆

☼ Each player will need to roll a single 100 sided dice or rng(random number generator) 1 from 100 or higher if you have modifiers. The player with the highest number will be the winner.
☼ All battles must be roleplayed out. No exceptions, meet the rp minimum but don't go over the maximum.
☼ When modifiers are used the player will switch from a dice to a rng (random number generator), the worth of the modifier will move the starting number higher. Example +2 modifier; you the player will start from 3 instead of 1 so your rng will be 3-100.
☼ Modifiers max out at 10 for each battle so the highest starting number you can have in a single fight is 11.
☼ A max of 5 flights a week in occ time.
Absolutely no god modding. This can not be stressed enough just because the dice says you're the winner or loser does not mean you can do things that are impossible for your character.
☼ If your opponent gives you permission to proxy post for them then state that at the bottom of your post. Only 4 proxy post per battle.
☼ If a thread has no response for a month without hitting the rp minimum it will be closed and no points will be rewarded for it.
☼ When starting a thread a response (not counting dice rolls between the two of you) must be made within the week or it will be a declared a non-starter.

◆ Npc fights:◆

‡ Look at the requirements for fighting a npc.
‡ Post in the correct forum for requesting a npc fight.
‡ Do not exceed the maximum amount you can fight a npc.

۝Modifiers Guidelines:۝

◆ - Modifiers are boost that you can use during a fight. Some of them are temporary other are by stage. There are different types some add to your roll/rng, other take away from your opponents.
    ◆ - Automatic +10 for each growth
◆ - You need to win a fight to have a modifier count.
◆ - Pay attention to what the modifiers are.
◆ - PvP and Npc fights can have different rules and/or types on how to apply modifiers per battle.
◆ - If you lose 5 fights in a row you lose all modifiers you gained in that stage.

✙ GLADIATOR/Gladiatrix RANKING ✙

◆ - Gladiators and Gladiatrix (title for female gladiators) have no rights they are the property of the house owners the dominus and/or domina have full say over their lives. From when they wake to where and when they will sleep. Some dominus/domina will allow gladiators to come and go, but very few house actually only two allow for this. Most people on a higher class see gladiators as toys to be used at their discretion or just violent beast that are only good for violence. Lower social classes see it one of two ways the ring can elevate you into life of fame and prestige or it is a place where pimps and butchers congregate. ✙ GLADIATOR HOUSES ✙

◆ Blurb about the function of gladiator houses, small bit about how they work, maybe a hint on how a you get allied to one or how a character might be able to create his/her own house. Maybe also a bit about how the houses are looked upon in Nocte.

          Free Houses: :
There are only two free Houses nothing like they sound but the majority if not their only gladiators are people that choose to be a gladiator. What does that me well they knowingly give up their freedom for the glory of the arena. The two houses that are considered free house both of them see gladiators as an extra income on the side. Both houses aren't the biggest sponsor but play a extremely active role in the coliseum. One maintains the arena and the other sells the weapons (your house can make their own but this is really rare.) used in the fighting.
