It had been so long since they had really seen any action. Now that Ajax and the other members of C.A.I.Z.U. had found employment at the clubs Catch Em All and I Choose You they had found a place to stay and now had enough money to get most of the things they needed. They no longer slept out in the wilds of the land, they no longer needed to steal clothes and food, they didn't even fight any more. Sure they could still fight and they were still able to learn new fighting moves but they had seemed to fall into a bit of a lull and that was one of the worst things for a pint size fighter. Ajax was still ever the same and ever itching for a brawl. He did not mind being Caileen's eyes and helping with the random commotions at the club but none of it was thrill. It was pretty dull.
So when they had gotten a day off of work Ajax could not wait to take a walk far out away from the city. Out in the wilderness were wilder and more attack prone Pokemon still roamed. He was itching for a fight and the other surely felt it but this time he would pick a good target one that would not leave as much damage as the mishap when they were children and left Caileen blind, Ingo armless, and everyone scared.
The others were walking so slowly just enjoying being away form the city so Ajax 'snuck' off in search of some action. He kept his smaller body hidden in bushes and snuck along as best he could his ferrel instincts starting to kick up and he started to hunt, his heart started to beat fast. Surely this would be a great day!

Zephyr was having a good day in his book. He had slept well and had a good breakfast. He hand taken a nice flight through the trees and now he had swooped down to ground level to search for any more shiny trinkets that he could take back to his knothole. He hopped along as he searched curiously checking bushes and the tall grass. He'd have to see about making a trip into a town through passing trainers he'd heard of fun places that catered specifically to pokemon.

Ajax stopped as he heard the sound of something hopping near by. He tilted his head a bit confused at it. He snuck closer and smiled as he say a Pidgey hopping around and looking at the ground. He wondered what it was that he was trying to see. Maybe he was trying to pick up worms. But it was a bit late in the day for worm hunting and it was not wet enough either.
But of course instead of asking the searching bird what he was searching for Ajax made his way yup to the top of a near by bush and onto a tree. He waiting until the 'little' bird was close enough and then with a happy woop he jump down onto the back of the hopping bird. He laughed a bit, "Gotcha! Let's go for a flight!" he shouted sure that the bird would take off to the air at the attack.

Zephyr panicked and flew up a few feet into the air before he realized something or rather a small someone was on his back. He landed back down to the ground and turned in a circle a couple times to try and get a look at whoever was on his back.

Ajax gave an excited yell as Zephyr started to fly up but before he got to high they were already landing again. that was not what he had expected to happen. He frowned and when the bird started to try and turn around to see him he tapped his heals into Zephyr's side wanting to get him to head up again. "Come up back up big guy!" he said wanting to fly again. If he was not going to get a lift this was going to be rather boring.
The other members of C.A.I.Z.U. were not really happy with Ajax making off and trying to fly but they really did not want a fight yet unless there was issues and he could not handle it.

Zephyr let out a small sigh as he heard the voice again. "You know you could have asked me instead of just scaring me," he grumbled. But Zephyr didn't like making others unhappy so this time he flew up smoothly though he didn't go that high, just ten feet off the ground. After a few small loops around the area Zephyr landed back were he had originally been. "All right, will you get off of my back now? I'd like to meet you."

Ajax tilted his head at the sigh. Why was the Pidgey not flying and trying to knock him off. He groaned a bit as the other started to talk but he held on gently as the other took up into the air. He gave a excited woop at the loops and smiled relaxing a bit.
By the time Zephyr started to land Ajax jumped off his back, "Oh come now when you scare a bird they take off fast and crazy so it is a real ride. But if I were to ask you would be all gentle." He shrugged. "So what if we meet then you'll give him some real fun rides?"

Zephyr couldn't help but smile at the question. "Sure, then I can show you my true speed. We'd be friends right?" If nothing else a friend is what he craved at the moment even more than his precious shiny objects.

Ajax thought about this and he started to circle the bird a bit stroking his own chin. "Hmm...friend huh?" After a moment he gave a nod, "Sure if your will let me ride you any time I like friends we can certainly be. Ajax is the name."
A short distance away Zeki took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes. Ajax was so stupid...and rude...and here he thought that Caileen was the childish one. Maybe he was very much wrong.
Caileen and Ura giggled at the thoughts of two of the boys and moved to find a nice shady place to rest with Ingo.

Zephyr sighed and watched the small male circle him. "Well Ajax my name is Zephyr and I can't promise to give you a ride anytime you wish. But I can do some of the time." Hearing the giggles Zephyr turned his head to see the other members of C.A.I.Z.U. "Are they your family?"

Ajax's eyes went wide as he saw how close the others had come. He was not about to give rides to everyone not when Zephyr was his friend. He put his arm around what would be the other's shoulders, "Let's just walk over this way. Of course I wont be coming over to fly with you every day. But then again carrying something heavier than you normally do can increases your flying speed when your not carrying said item. So it could be a win win here. I can get to fly up high and have a amazing trip and you can strengthen your body and become a stronger Pridgey!" He said as he started to lead the other away from the members of his group.
Zeki was a bit appalled that Ajax called upon his brain to get the training information. That little trouble maker was starting to get smart, and that could never end well. Ajax should just stay the bronze and leave the brain to him and Ingo.

Zephyr immediately forgot about the others then and kreened happily, "You really think that would work?" He smiled and nodded, "Well okay then it's a deal."

Ajax smirked. Zephyr was going to be his friend only. He was not really ready to share. He gave a nod, "Of course it would work. I don't see why not. We can get you to being the fastest Pidegy out there! We can set up some training times if you want and we can time you. Your going to be slower at first wail I am on you but you will start to get stronger and can go faster." He said full of confidence. He would love to get to soar around. A win win really. "So you like to fly fast huh?"

Zephyr nodded and grinned as much as his beak would allow. Again another sparkle caught his eye. He moved from Ajax and picked up a metal bottle cap.

Ajax blinked and looked confused as his new ride jumped off to look at something. What had caught his attention? The little pint sized man walked over to followed the bird. "What's so interesting?" He asked as he leaned over to try and see what it was that caught the other's attention.
