I honestly hate it when people friend request me and don't bother saying anything.
Social networks are places where people can socialize.
I create this account to actually have a social life that I no longer have in RL.
So if any of your girl send me a friend request at least say something to me.
At least make small talk, its better than just having another person as a number.
I honestly hated that on MySpace, I hate that on Facebook and still hate with Gaiaonline.
Its annoying and just plain rude in my opinion.
Its not like the more people you have on your friend list the more popular you are going to get.
I already have a two user from this guild request and not one of them talked to me.
I am not going to be the one messaging you because I wasn't the one that send you a friend request.
I'll probably do it to break the ice(sometimes) but if you dont replay back, thats just plain rude.
Sorry for my little rant, I needed to get that out of me as well as letting you girls know -.-;

I hate when people text you "hi" and you reply, and ask them whats up, and they reply with "nothing...."

OMG! Thats annoying! Thats why when it comes to text i am usually writing like a three text part thing or if I know the person very well I actually tell them what I am doing even if its awkward for them, but they know I am very open with things. smile Whats more annoying is when you reply backt to the texter they don't reply back anymore. -_- its like why are you texting if you aren't going to reply back?

Yes, fair enough if they're busy and stuff i understand. Its just when they are ALWAYS the ones texting me first and they have nothing to say. Im expected to bring up a topic to talk about, and it always seems like im the one starting topics when some of the people i know text me.

I agree! I hate this so much! Why add me and then not speak to me? Even a 'Hello' would suffice! It's like they've just added you to bulk up their list of friends. >|

Thats how I feel half of the times when it comes to my friends so thats why i am getting into the habit of writing more than one sentence even it mines me getting into details and how I feel about it or whatever lol

I usually use that line to start a convo with my friends only. And it works most of the times.

I know someone who uses that line alot. Not just at the start of the convo, but when you are in the middle of it. -_- So its like, "we already have something to talk about, and you keep saying you're bored"
But then we complain about people not talking enough, but if you look at it from their point of view, maybe they want to talk but are not as social and it takes time for them to feel confident enough to start a proper conversation.

I also hate how they want to add you just because of how your avatar looks.
I've added it on my profile that they need to start a conversation with me before they add me,but I don't think they read it. Maybe I need to make it obvious and big enough for them to read.

That's why I have friend requests disabled. In one guild I'm in, I was getting friend requests left and right from accounts I had never heard of. It just got easier to disable it for me
Both my mains have it disabled because of that

Lol, same here. I really really hate random friend requests and always decline them. I don't care if the person claims that she/he "knows" me but if I don't know him/her I won't accept. I used to accept them all but I found out that some of them just wanted my stuff and gold....
