Ryuukishin Bitey: 0:! -has seen Soq with paws and wings and pelts, but the weirdest of all was the mare with the raggedy cloth on her neck- It looks like mine! -she observes with a smile, happy to see the familiar striping pattern, even if was on something else- vollyballrocks91 Neela: *ears perk towards the little voice, and looks around seeing no one around the little filly* Are you all by yourself? *she trotted over to Bitey* You should be care- *pauses at the strangeness of the little one's muzzle, but smiles* You gotta be careful all by yourself out here Ryuukishin Bitey: -shakes her head in the negative- My mom and dad are close by. They don't want me going far... -she fades off, as if wary of the stranger's response. But when the mare smiles, she smiles back, at ease again- Why? Is it dangerous here? oAo vollyballrocks91 Neela: *gave another quick look around* Well it doesn't seem to be today but you never know! What's your name, little one? Ryuukishin Bitey: -she had drawn close to the mare, but she perked up when the stranger had announced it was safe- I'm Bitey! -she introduced enthusiastically. She began nibbling on the stranger's neck-piece, but remembered her parents had warned her such a show of affection would not always be appreciated. She paused- vollyballrocks91 Neela: *giggles* It's nice to meet you, Bitey. I'm Neela. My mom gave me this scarf, I don't see her much anymore so it's kinda like keeping her here with me! Ryuukishin Bitey: It's nice to meet you, too! -she returns with a wave of her tail. She waits expectantly but hears no complaint about her chewing and is about to resume the activity when Neela continues- It looks like my mom's, too... and your side looks like my brother's! -she says, delighted with any familiarity she could find- vollyballrocks91 Neela: *content to let the little filly do as she pleases, she couldn't really hurt the cloth too much* Oh really? I haven't seen many that look like me, except for my own brother of course! Ryuukishin Bitey: Oh! Oh! I have a brother! :D -she repeats. Though she mentioned a brother already, it could've been unclear...!! And she was thoroughly enjoying herself with any similarities she could find- He might be a pirate -- what about yours? vollyballrocks91 Neela: *giggles* I don't know! I'm sure he would make a great pirate if he tried! Ryuukishin Bitey: You would, too! ^0^ -Neela resembled Kracken a lot, so it would make sense if the two shared the same goals and skills and everything!- vollyballrocks91 Neela: Oh goodness, no, I could never be a pirate! I hear they steal things and are just in all sorts of trouble! .. Granted I do get into trouble but it's not my fault most of the time >.> Ryuukishin Bitey: That's what makes it fun. :D But I dunno how to swim yet, so I can only be half of one. >: vollyballrocks91 Neela: Aw well you will learn soon, I'm sure. I haven't been swimming very much either.. I hope I still remember how to Ryuukishin Bitey: Maybe we can ask my brother. owo He came out part fish, so it's easier for him. He has fins on his shoulders and... and... an arm on his butt! vollyballrocks91 Neela: Goodness! An arm on his behind?? I haven't heard of that before! You have quite the family don't you, you must never be bored *smiles* Ryuukishin Bitey: -nods gravely- Dad said special things came from a "tunnel" and gave it to him. O: Did your tail come from one, too? -she asked, not yet realizing it was simply tied- vollyballrocks91 Neela: A tunnel? Interesting. No, no, my tail is just a braid *flicks it a bit* My spikes are different though, my brother and I got them but neither of our parents had any. Ryuukishin Bitey: o: -peers closely at the tail and notes the word to memory- Isn't that normal? -she wondered aloud- Mom and dad don't have my face... but they gave us a tie like you have. :D My brother's looks like yours, but it's brown -- and mine's prettier! -she clarified quickly. She looked down at her neck as if preparing to show it off and prove her words, but remembered she had left it at home when the knot came loose- It's blue, like me. :3 -she said, settling for a description- vollyballrocks91 Neela: *smiles at the filly* You're right, we never look exactly like our parents. But we always get traits that they have. My best friend is just like us, affected by some sort of weird tunnel. It changes us, makes us a little different from our parents. I got spikes, my friend got spider web wings. Normally you would be able to find where every trait came from, even from grandparents sometimes. Ryuukishin Bitey: -gazes thoughtfully to the side, musing over Neela's words. Grandparents made their parents, and parents made their children: that she could understand. And the "tunnel"... well, the "tunnel" was a fairy, she concluded. It would explain its seemingly magical abilities- I still look like my parents, though. -she pressed. She'd been called a changeling once, and she didn't want the mare to think so, too- I got the top of me from dad, and the bottom from mom. :D -she smiles widely at that, her face splitting apart as if cut in half- vollyballrocks91 Neela: Of course you do! You'll always look like your parents, just that oooonneeee trait is different from them *bops her on the nose with her own* I look more like my daddy, but I have a little bit of my mom <3 Ryuukishin Bitey: -wriggles her nose delightedly and butts her head against Neela's chest- emotion_kirakira Does that mean you're more like your dad? ovo vollyballrocks91 Neela: Hmm.. I suppose I am. But that's not really connected to me looking like, more of a coincidence I suppose *smiles* Ryuukishin Bitey: Oh. O: Okay! 8D -wriggles around and peers behind Neela to see if she could spot the mare's parents- >w> Are they close by? Your parents, I mean. vollyballrocks91 Neela: *chuckles* No they're not here. I'm all grown up and on my own now! Ryuukishin Bitey: -puffs up- Sometimes I go off on my own, too, like right now. 8D I think I would miss 'em, though, if I couldn't go back to 'em at night. >: vollyballrocks91 Neela: Yeah I understand that. When I was younger I couldn't imagine not seeing my daddy everyday. But eventually you gotta go out and find something new! It's exciting and a little scary all at the same time. Ryuukishin Bitey: -well, when Neela put it that way, it did sound a little fun. Even if she didn't understand it all the way, she couldn't help but to lift her tail hopefully at Neela's enthusiastic words. And it would explain why so many adults she met had no parents around them, too- B-but you can still go back to him when you want, right? And your mom, too? >: vollyballrocks91 Neela: Yep I can visit whenever I want. I'm not sure where my mom is, but even if you leave, they'll always be your parents. That never changes. Ryuukishin Bitey: -is reassured somewhat, but...- They don't stay in the same place? oAo -shows a shock akin to a student realizing their teacher has a life outside of school- vollyballrocks91 Neela: Eats the critters? Why would she do that? No I haven't gotten to go there yet, but someday I will! Ryuukishin Bitey: Dad said she was an omni... omni... omniboar! owo And I'm sure you'll like it. 8D It gets hot sometimes, and the ground moves when you step on it, but you can swim in the water and dry on the rocks. <3 But what about the snow? *A* Is it as cold as they say? -shakes and sways her head dramatically for emphasis- [A pawed soq, a unicorn, and a foal purewalker appear.] Ryuukishin Bitey: oAo -eyes Akuma warily. She's met a pure before, and since then, her father had warned her about the breed. They were nothing but evil he'd told her, incapable of change and a curse upon the land. This one kept talking of food, and so did the other one she had met. Were they mean because they were hungry?- ): vollyballrocks91 Neela: *comes up behind Bitey* Careful dear, you need to be careful around the likes of those ones Ryuukishin Bitey: -tentatively eyes the others before turning away. She tries not to judge based on appearances, but she takes more comfort in a familiar presence than around strangers and trails after Neela willingly- How come that guy had a spike on his face? O: Did the tunnel affect him, too? vollyballrocks91 Neela: Spike on his.. Oh *giggles* No dear, that's just a horn that marks unicorn heritage. Many many others have them. Ryuukishin Bitey: He's a unicorn? oAo Do all horns look like that? It looks like it could hurt more than heal... >: vollyballrocks91 Neela: They can be used for both actually, surprising isn't it? Ryuukishin Bitey: -nods. She'd always heard tales of unicorns being good, but she supposed they weren't stuck that way like pures were. She didn't want to think about others turning evil, though- His tail looked just like mom's... I wanted to bite it! <333 But I didn't... That's good, right? vollyballrocks91 Neela: *smiles down at her* Yes, very good. If it's someone you don't know it's not a very good idea to try and bite them. They might not like it and try to hurt you. Ryuukishin Bitey: -wriggles her tail at the praise, but is dissuaded to hear her affectionate bites can be taken the wrong way- I try to be gentle... -she says, somewhat defensively- vollyballrocks91 Neela: *bends her head down to nose at Bitey* I know you do, some just don't understand. Ryuukishin Bitey: Okay. -she said simply, returning the nuzzle. She was glad that Neela didn't seem to mind, at least, and could be content with that. Then, off-handedly- You have my mom's eyes. owo Ryuukishin Bitey: -nods- And her legs, too! They look like mine, see? -she says, lifting a hoof- Maybe your dad looks like my mom. :D vollyballrocks91 Neela: *chuckles* Maybe. Who's your mom? Ryuukishin Bitey: My mom! 8D -she said simply- But she has a second name, like me! It's Iie. <3 vollyballrocks91 Neela: *looks a bit taken aback* Iie? Iie Namae? Ryuukishin Bitey: -nods- And my other name is Nashide Namae! It ends the same way. owo ...How did you know? 0: vollyballrocks91 Neela: *really surprised to hear this* Well.. Iie is my mother. Which means you're my little sister, Bitey. Ryuukishin Bitey: Eh? oAo But... you're so big! vollyballrocks91 Neela: Because I was born before you.. Way before you. So I'm older and bigger, but you'll grow big soon too! Ryuukishin Bitey: Ooh... okay! 8D -she had grown increasingly more excited as the realization dawned on her, and now she was dashing in a circle around Neela, taking more interest in her than she had before. It explained why Neela resembled her brother so much, and now she could see more familiarities in the color of her coat and the line above her eyes. Finally, she slowed to stop and leaned against Neela's chest before looking up at her- C-can I call you big sis, then? emotion_kirakira vollyballrocks91 Neela: *smiles wondering how anyone couldn't just adore such a little thing* Of course you can, dear. And you have another brother too! Well, we call them brother-in-laws... I don't know why. But he's with me, like your dad is with your mom, which means he's part of the family too *trying to explain this in a way a young one can understand* ... Ryuukishin Bitey: -she couldn't help herself, she began chewing Neela's neck-piece again amidst her excitement, her mouth and tail going a mile a minute. Thankfully, she had the sense to focus only along the fringes, and her bites did little more add a bit of wear- Another one? *A*!! -she thought it over: like her dad was with her mom...- Is he someone you like? vollyballrocks91 Neela: *smiles, thankful the filly understood* Yes, I like him very much. I'm sure he would be happy to call you sister as well. Ryuukishin Bitey: -she was happy to see her mom and dad together, and she was certain she'd be happy to see Neela with someone she was happy with, too- Do I get to meet him? *0* <333 vollyballrocks91 Neela: Sure! He's usually not far from me, perhaps next time I'll bring him with me to see you. Ryuukishin Bitey: Good! 8D We can have an adventure! >3 vollyballrocks91 Neela: *laughs* An adventure? My, how exciting. Where are we going? Ryuukishin Bitey: The beach! I can show you the crabs. :D They bite like me, but with their ears! vollyballrocks91 Neela: Oh I would love that, dear. And I will definitely tell Zachary, we'll have the best time *nuzzles her little sister* Ryuukishin Bitey: We will! -she agrees, quick and eager to return the nuzzle- <333 -then, reluctantly, she steps away, head turned to watch the fading light-
I need to go back or Uncle Goatee'll be mad. >: But I'll meet you here tomorrow, big sis. emotion_kirakira -goes in for a last nuzzle before she steps towards the nearby forest- Bye!
