- Bio: Natsume was a monster once, she was nothing more than a creature that hunted, killed, and hunted again. She cared so little for the world around her, that she didn’t even remain sane as the monster. Her mind was so broken by her change into a Hollow that she had to go back, and kill, and hunt. She murdered everyone she’d known in life and made them apart of her, and then she hunted those whom she could tell had some relation to her home, as Hollows, and ate them. Then she found those that were related to them, and ate them. The cycle continued with her mind becoming more and more twisted with each revolution. Slowly the hunt became its own purpose, and she found herself hunting with a pack, though the creatures and her eventually fell upon one another, she remained having become something more than herself, as ten thousand voices screamed in her mind, she took only what she wanted. Desires, hopes, dreams, pleasures, and consumed them. She became a creature that existed only to find pleasure, take it into herself. When she surpassed the form of a Menos Grande, she became a massive lizard-like creature digging through the sands, consuming all she found. It wasn’t until she’d evolved into the next stage that her world really began to change.
Natsume became consumed with herself, when she regained a human-like appearance, she grew massive wings, and took to the skies of her homeland preying upon the weak, and crushing those who challenged her. She became a queen amongst the sands. She became the Dragon Queen, her power was incredible, and she could destroy entire regions of the sands with little more than trying to do so, she would find it all incredibly boring, and soon found the idea of her own destruction to be more entertaining than existing any longer. She left her domain, and flew off seeking the edge of the world. After collapsing back to the sands exhausted and finding no endless void to let herself be consumed by, she just collapsed down tumbling down a massive dune, sinking deep into the sands when she’d hit the bottom. It wasn’t long until lesser creatures began to consume her slowly, biting, tearing, and stealing everything she’d fought so hard for. It was there that something out there changed, she absorbed something, and the creatures absorbed her, and in a state of in-between existing and not existing she found herself consuming and being consumed. She became more than she was, and less as well. Her body became that of an Arrancar, and it was just the beginning of her newest journey.
She’d become a twin existence, still of one mind but a creature that consumes, and another that is consumed. She loves herself, and hates herself. She has found that the only thing that makes her feel right anymore is to just forget about who she was, and indulge. She loves completely, she hates totally, she’ll take pain, and give it in equal measure. All of it to hide herself deeper in the fantasy away from herself. Deeper down the rabbit hole she goes, the further from herself she gets. If something were to bring her back all the way to the start, instead of destroying her, they would wake her up from the dream, so while the trip back would slowly weaken her, until she’s almost a wreck, but push that last step, and you’ll have done something terrible, freeing the beast within. Her truth. The truth she runs from because she doesn’t know what else to do, because it is her, but it’s not the current her.
She joined the Espada to hide in herself, devoting herself to impulsive choices, feelings, pleasures, and pains. She is a monster, and while she acts sweet, loving, and playful, deep beneath she is a monster.
