While Serenia was a place that a Diabi would normally never bother to go Eyphah was not only on that particular continent but it wasn't his first time there either. In fact he had spent a lot of time hunting in this particular place, chasing the green scaled Ysali Dragons, wanting to gather a nice heap of their orbs before he moved on to the next place that was on his list of what he felt would be enjoyable hunting grounds. Ayr, Ayr was going to be next so that he could get himself more of those silvery colored orbs. Thus far he had two of them, one from a chance encounter and the other from the adventure with D, both grand orbs but they weren't nearly enough to sate his appetite for orbs, not by a long shot. No, he would have even more of them soon enough he thought to himself. He would have more then he knew what to do with and nobody would be able to stand in his way, most certainly not any of the two-legs, that much was for damn sure. He just couldn't wait, couldn't wait to see the looks on their faces, when he was walking around in his beautiful, powerful, intimidating Drakeinian form. All of the two-legs would bow before him in reverence. For the moment though he was still Drakein and he still needed to hunt for those orbs that he needed. One day soon he would get what he wanted, until then... well, he had to hunt.

It wasn't going to be difficult though, not with how his luck was looking at present, that much he was certain of. A sound much like a purr escaped from Eyphah as he looked out from his dark, shadowy hiding spot toward a milling group of Ysali. There were three of them! Three dragons whose orbs all belonged to him even if they were unaware of that fact quite yet he thought to himself, the tip of his tail starting to twitch a bit at the sight of them. They were all so oblivious to the fact that they were being watched, being hunted, likely far too used to being the apex predator. As dangerous as they might be to those around them things were different now that he was back. The stupid beasts had grown too compliant while he was away in Eowyn he thought to himself, teeth barred slightly in a smirk. Now that he was back he was going to have to punish them, remind them who was the boss, and then collect all their glittering orbs after he finished them off.

The Diabi drew in a deep, steadying breath, and then he was on the move, faster then the Ysali were able to react in fact. By the time they even realized what was going on he was already on top of them, his scythe like claws digging into the back of the one that had been nearest to his hiding spot. As he set about saving that one, clawing, biting, and slashing at it with his tail the other two gave angry, threatening roars, sounds that he could care less about. Who was scared of a bunch of puffed up Ysali after all? Certainly not him, to him they were nothing more then orbs with wings he thought to himself as he lunged off the back of one of them, leaving it to bleed out, and landed on the second one, repeating the same sort of violent assault against that one. They were just as delicious as he remembered them to be he thought to himself, as his jaws snapped shut on the second Ysali's throat, crushing it. The second one was dead even before the first one had finished crumbling away, leaving him to lunge at the third one.

The third one, unlike the other two, put up more of a fight. There was a quick tussle, an exchange of scratches and bites, before the things was suddenly summoning up vines to entangle Eyphah in. He struggled for a moment, trying to free himself, but by the time he had the thing was long gone. It was an insult, one that had him snarling after it in distaste, "Cowardly magic user." He spat out, teeth barred, before he whirled around to face the other two only to find there was nothing left to them but their skeletons, "Huh... that was somewhat unsatisfying." He muttered, tail lashing behind him in a displeased manner. He knew it wasn't due to this fight that he was in such a mood, it was still grating on him that the beast called Beta had escaped from him. He would have liked another shot at that he one, and despite his search for her there was no such luck. As such here he was, taking out his frustrations on lesser beasts. He gave a sort of rumbling sound in his throat before trotting forward to collect his orbs, dragging them over so that they sat next to each other, sparkling in the sun, "You help to make up for the annoyance I am feeling." He told them, grinning at his reflection in their surfaces before turning to look at the dragon bones.

"Mmmm, I suppose that a snack is in order, then I will see about going to finish off that little coward that ran away from me." He murmured, tail swishing, as he stepped closer to the nearest skeleton and set to tearing free the big thigh bone of the dragon, crunching into it so that he could devour the tasty marrow within.
