Can't Change It: Has a constantly optimistic view of the world. Though it seems it is unending this is really just a way he hides his true feelings of the situation be it anger, fear or sadness.
History is set in stone: Christian had grown up in a rather well to do family. They didn't have problems finding money and this meant he could get anything he needed or wanted. He was to some degree spoiled but this never dampened his giving spirit. He loved to help and wanted to do all he could be be part of something good, to make a change. Joining anything from picking up trash to feeding the homeless. Yet each one never lasted. They always claimed he was too childish and got in the way. He just wanted to do his best, but he didn't have the control to stop his mouth from moving. Every rejection always got him down and he took it hard, locking himself in his room for days playing games to clear his mind. It was during such a time that he discovered a "wilderness training" online. He signed up for it, adjusting his age to be accepted and packed his things. He convinced his parents it would be for his own good, that getting outside might help him calm down a little. They agreed and he was off.
He didn't do too bad at it either. He wasn't a master but he listened well and did what he was told. Of course like usual he would do things that got him into trouble and was asked to do the walk of shame. Collecting firewood they didn't need. He hated this and knew why they did it. He just wanted to prove his worth. No matter what he'd make his family proud of him when he returned. He swore by it.
After a week or so everything became strange. The animals seemed to be acting very weird. Something in the air just wasn't right. It was decided they would go into town to just check up on things. And it was on reentry they learned that something very bad had happened. But what....they had no clue...
