Xiezhi was born into the Noble Hiroshi House two hundred years ago and as a result, never had to witness the horrors of the Great Ash War. Born into nobility, Xiezhi never really had to worry about much growing up. He usually got what he wanted he asked for it, and was usually spending time in the Hiroshi Institute along with the other children of the Noble House. A true troublemaker however, Xiezhi would often get in trouble with his teachers for having a ‘smartass’ attitude towards things, as he would take every opportunity to undermine them whenever possible. Although many teachers hated having him as a student, one fact was still undisputed by everyone in the Noble House; this kid was an absolute genius.
Simply put, he found school to be far too easy, and rather boring actually, as he never really got the chance to be challenged at an academic level. He was eventually put under the wing of Chiyo Hiroshi, who thought him a great ordeal thanks to his new teacher/mentor. However, where he really shined was in regards to shinigami history. Xiezhi noticed from a young age that a good amount of the current members of the Hiroshi Noble House were in fact members of the Gotei 13, or have served in the Gotei 13 at some point of their lives. This motivated Xiezhi to
eventually want to join the academy and give being a member of the Gotei 13 a shot.
He took the entrance exam and passed with flying colors, as he was sent into the academy immediately after taking his exam. During that time, Xiezhi shined in the sciences and combat, as he excelled in these two fields. Showing real promise in the Medical Department, Xiezhi was thrown into the Fourth Division after graduating the Academy and rose up the ranks and eventually became one of the best doctors of the entire division. Xiezhi was also well known for his notorious reputation for being quite a troublemaker, as he often would get himself involved with division wide pranks along side his captain, Jousake Hiroshi.
Overall, he was a rather well liked and respect individual in his division. However, one day, things changed after a rather severe accident on the field. While out in the World of the Living, Xiezhi was out giving out treatment and healing several shinigami who were injured on the battlefield, when he was suddenly consumed by an explosion whole. If it wasn’t for his skill in defensive kido, he would have died in the blast. Thankfully he was able to set up a proper barrier that protected him from most of the explosion’s wrath, but the damage was done.
Most of his body was scorched, and his eyesight was lost. He was in bad shape, but at least he was conscious and managed to live. However, he was going to be forced out of service, but thankfully, an opportunity came down his way. His accident happened twenty years after the completion of the Cybernetic Organism Project. Jousake personally placed Xiezhi under the program with his consent and began the procedure to make him a cybernetic organism. The procedure itself took 46 hours but once complete, Xiezhi was a changed man.
He was now a totally changed person, and with all his body enhancements and such, he was now totally redesigned combat wise. Xiezhi’s skills were now orientated towards combat and defensive purposes, as a lot of his formal medical skill came from his skill in kido. However, after the operation, he lost the ability to perform kido. Another important loss to Xiezhi was the loss of his zanpakuto, as whatever past connection he had with his zanpakuto was now lost. Whether the loss is permanent or not, only time will tell. Eighty years after the procedure, Xiezhi is now the Fourth Seat Sword of the Fourth Division and is a proud member of the Sword and Shield Initiative.

- Character Attire: During normal times, Xhezhi wears the standard shinigami uniform for quite a few alterations done to it. For starters, he wears from the waist above a specialized suit of cybernetic armor. For his pants, he has them puffed out, as they grant him increased mobility and offer him a rather interesting fashion statement on the battlefield. In times of war, Xhezhi still wears the same cybernetic armor, but for the rest of his body, he wears the standard wartime uniform of the Sword and Shield Initiative.
- Character Tattoos/Markings/Scars:Xhezhi has no visible scars or markings on his body, but due to his accident, his body from the waist above is mostly covered with burns.
