Sophie made her way to the soon-to-be club room; arms overloaded with various supplies. When she finally arrived, she dropped everything she was carrying into a heap and then sat next to it and began sorting it all into piles. The club was still in the process of being formed; but she had received interest from a few students and it seemed like it could possibly take off. So she was finally putting in the work and trying to make things look presentable for when they had the first meeting of potential members.
At current, the room needed a lot of work and Sophie looked around with knitted brows. It was dirty; the paint was peeling off and there were various odd pieces of furniture that didn't really belong there - or anywhere. The task was daunting and she flopped onto the ground, letting out a groan and a sigh as she stretched out.

Steffani had been chomping at the bit to get started in the sewing club. The Fashion Club intimidated her and, really, she liked making clothes, not just wearing them. So after a room had been established for the budding young club, Steff made her way there, purse over her shoulder practically bulging with stuff to show the leader. She knocked on the door before poking her head in, and froze.
"Yikes."
The Patchwork Ghoul looked around the poorly misused room, coming in and looking around. "Looks like we've got a lot of work ahead of us, making this place look good..." Still, with some elbow grease, it wasn't half bad! Furniture had to go, though. Bleh. She looked at the girl on the floor, grinning a little. "Steffani." She greeted, waving. "This is our club room, right? The sewing club." Just in case that wasn't obvious in spite of the supplies Sophie had sorted on the table.
Right.
Stop thinking, Steff.

From the floor, Sophie looked up at the ghoul and blinked a few times before she jumped up suddenly and took her hand, shaking it with perhaps too much enthusiasm. "Steffani! Of course!" She wiped down her clothes, smoothing out wrinkles that had no doubt appeared since she'd been rolling on the floor and then swept her arm across the shambled room. "This is the majestic club room! Or it will be when we get a club.. with members."
She cleared her throat and rocked on her heels; it was best she didn't focus on the possibility of all her hard work going to waste and so the ghoul simply changed the subject. "I bought a bunch of basic supplies from the maul earlier. Some fabric, thread, patterns.. Um.. A few sketch books," she tapped her chin. "I figured I'd buy a spare sewing machine or two for members to use if they don't have their own.."
Then she looked at the room once more and her hand rested on her cheek. "But this place needs to be cleaned up first," quickly, she turned to the other ghoul and offered an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, I thought I would have this all set up before members arrived."

Steff jerked at the enthusiastic handshaking, laughing a little, and set her bag down on the floor. "The members will come, especially if we deck this place out." She said, looking around. She nodded to the supplies, grinning. "Cool." She said, stepping around the ghoul to check out the supplies. "I can probably bring my machine down here, too." It'd be a good excuse to ask the Creator for a new one.
She looked around the room, and smiled a little. "Don't be sorry; this is going to need more than just one person. I think we can salvage some of the furniture, at least, but I think most of it's gonna have to be moved, right?" She looked around at the walls, thinking.
"Um, are we allowed to replace the peeling paint...?" She asked slowly, deadpan. Somehow that didn't ooze creativity. She was afraid of what it might be oozing for real, though. :< "It's got potential, though!" She chirped, clearing her throat. "It'll be great once it's cleaned up." Why worry? This place was just an 80's montage away from fabulous.

Sophie gave a nod, grin widening. She was really excited; especially now that it seemed she had someone just as equally on board as she was. Stepping over to the walls, she pulled off a section of the flaking paint and flicked it on the ground. "I don't see why not. I mean, as long as we don't go crazy. It's like we're doing them a favour, right?"
Hands clasping behind her back, the ghoul looked around the room. "The broken and too dusty stuff can get thrown out. We can pick up stuff at the maul if we need it," she paused. "I'm not sure what kind of colour scheme would be best.. Or what else we should have in here. What should go where.."
"We'll definitely need a few desks. Dress mannequins. A changing area too I gues.." she turned and eyed the ghoul. "What do you think? Any suggestions?"

"Exactly. Free labor, how can they see it bad?" Though given what she'd heard on the rumor mill, detention seemed like a fun passtime for professors... Still. She was sure it'd be fine. She looked around, nodding a little to Sophie's suggestion. "Hmm. We definitely need some dressers," She added to her suggestion, looking around.
"For the fabric." She looked over, and grinned. "So we could set up a changing room in the corner," She pointed to one of the inner corners. "And then we could have the sewing area in the center, with our machines on one side and an empty table for hand stitching on the other?" She gestured to the center of the room, looking around.
"The rest would just be storage, I think. That can go anywhere, right?" She looked at Sophie, considering.
