xoxo Murren was born in a small village in Scotland and was raised on a large dairy farm there. she spent more or less her entire life in the same area and never actually ever dreamed of leaving home. She spent most of her childhood balancing work at her parents' farm (even though they had many workers to look after the cows, Murren was still expected to help with the daily chores) and school. she was never much interested in school other than as a way to get a break from the farm work, but due to her mother's...firm hand...she studied hard anyway. Her parents never really wanted to pass the farm to her as they were hoping for something better for their daughter than a life of squeezing juice out of cows for the benefit of others. Unfortunately, her parents both passed away shortly after Murren finished high school and with no one else to take over the farm, Murren found herself in the position of having to sell it.
Fortunately their foreman was interested in taking over the farm and bought it up right away, leaving Murren with a lot of time and money on her hands. Murren used some of the money from the farm to go on to college, where she studied for a few years, but eventually found herself missing farm life.
However, she wasn't much interested in staying in Scotland and somehow managed to find her way across the world to a tiny island that was in desperate need of farmers. And she used the remaining money to purchase a farm there, moving there soon after to personally oversee the work.
