Their stay on Eowyn was coming to a close for them. Truth to be told, Eku was going to miss Taliuma and also the Malro Desert but he has to go back home. He received a letter from Cassius of something important he needed to talk to him about personally. It made the mage wonder what it could be that it can't be said over a simple letter. But there's nothing that he can do now about it except just packing up to leave. However, both Eku and Vilzun wanted to at least walk around the desert boarder for one last time before going back. He would do anything just to spend some time away from that b*****d Cassius. However, it wasn't such a bad thought of going back home. Lately he has been thinking about his estranged father, Ayotunde, for some strange reason. He was once an amazing mage who had fallen into deep depression. It didn't surprised Eku to see that he didn't show up at all to the battle in the desert against the other races. But, he should at least see him if he was okay.
He watched Vilzun trotting along the sand before him as he tried to do some electric moves that he has seen some of the Kiandri dragons have done. It made the blood mage smile at his enthusiasm. "Oi, don't be doin' too much dere Vilzun. Soon we be goin' home . . ." But all of the sparks were attracting the Kiandri that are lurking around in the desert are coming out from the dunes. They roar out and the air was thick with the ever growing electricity that is had stunned them. "Damn it . . ." Eku muttered under his breath seeing that they attracted more than one dragon and he grabbed his scepter to smack on his head. "Stop dem sparks and run!" They really weren't in the fighting mood and run as fast as they can to get to safety and all the way to the docks to leave.
