The last hunt was a grave failure for them. The mage had to stay at the inn to rest his injury up from the self inflicted wound to the arm that he caused. During the entire time Vilzun was keeping an eye on him in observing the healing process and feeling terrible the entire time. They were suppose to be working together and yet Vilzun couldn't do anything about it and just let Eku save him instead. But he wanted to do something right for him and he can't be afraid of his own clan forever.
When Eku was feeling better, he saw that Vilzun was acting so weird as he was at the door waiting for him. "Eku! Eku lets go!" He called out to him mentally which puzzled him for it's the first time that he wanted . . . to actually move around. "Okay den Vilzun . . ." Already he wondered if Vilzun is plotting something, like trying to eat him. That hasn't happened in a while and so he quickly assumed that must be it. But apparently that wasn't the case as they were leaving the inn to head over to the desert once more for another hunt which made Eku super aware of his surroundings if the same Kiandri dragon might show up to get revenge on them.
There was some shifting in the sands around them and they were in high alert. "Vilzun, we be leavin' now before dem Kiandri be comin' for us . . ." He said out loud for him to hear but he was amazed to see that he was standing firm in the sand at a direction as if something is going to jump from there. It made him smirk at the whole situation now seeing that he has no other choice as he also took his stance and pointed his scepter right at the same direction as Vilzun. "All right, I be doin' ya way den . . ." Might as well since they have nothing else to do and he didn't want to run away for a third time seeing that he is preparing a dark energy attack. Then suddenly, it was their friend, the Kiandri dragon appeared out from the sand and the dragon was greeted by a barrage of Dark magic attacks which struck at the face and the injured body.
A loud shrieking cry of agonizing pain was heard and the Kiandri fell down into the sand as a lifeless being. It took a lot of his energy to deal damage on the dragon but it was all over finally as the Kiandri was turning to dust. Vilzun ran up in the desert and plucked up the orb from the ashes and brought it up to Eku as he reached down to grab it. "Thank ya Vilzun! Ya did it!" He was really proud of him. But just as he was about to pull it out of his mouth . . . Vilzun kept his mouth shut around it. ". . . . Vilzun, no! Ya can't eat it!"
