So, I've had a nasty hacking cough for over a month
Went to a doctor shortly after it developed (keep in mind I come from a family that rarely goes for regular check ups (we forget)), he said it was a bug going around, 8-10 days. Prescribed an inhaler and meds
That was the beginning of June
Yesterday, I went to Urgent Care cuz the cough was getting worse, and I now have pain on my lower left side. Almost all time time. Coughing has me doubling over in pain
Got a check X-ray, and while waiting to find out the results, my sister said that cuz of how nasty the cough was and how tiny (skinny, I'm close to six feet tall), I might have dislocated a rib, of not broken one. That's what she was expecting it
Nope. Ribs fine
There's a growth on my upper left lung. Saw the X-ray, they said 10cm by 6cm by (missed that one) in
On the X-ray, it looked almost as big as my heart
They think it's on the outside of my lung, don't know if its cancer or not
Hope it's not...
I'm on medical leave until further notice and have new meds that have a controlled substance
Kills the cough, but I'm groggy with the cant sleep tired
So, I'm going through a rough patch, let's hope it's not cancer

That would suck. I hope its not cancer either... or anything else serious. I wish you luck on your results and I hope you feel better soon!!!
