It was another quiet weekend at the cramped apartment, everyone had something to do but Gabe. This was becoming a common occurrence and he didn't like it! "Oh man!" He sighed putting down his controller to the game hes beat a bazillion times, "I gotta get out..."He decided. Sprucing himself up a bit he bounded out into the great outdoors! Going wherever! And if he got hungry thirsty or assaulted by zombies he had his trusty backpack.

"Where are we?" Abel whined, pushing a sweat laden ringlet away from his eyes. He and his best friends, Ryan and Neil, had been walking in the city for what seemed like hooours. They were first timers to the city, and had absolutely no idea what they were doing.
"I don't know..." Ryan replied, his wings fluttering weakly. He was visibly the most tired of the trio, and seemed to be fading quickly against the heat. Hot weather was certainly one of his weaknesses, a weakness he didn't quite appreciate.
"Well, we'd better figure it out soon!" Neil growled, his wings flaring outward. "Mama 'Ole's going to wake up and find us gone if we don't hurry and find our way back!" Neil was the roughest of the group and didn't like having to walk for so long. They would have to rest soon, or face his wrath!

Gabe noticed it was pretty hot out, glad he brought water. "Gotta find some nice shade." He said to himself as he headed to the central park where there were lots of trees, he liked trees :3. Trotting the short distance he was away from the entrance he smiled at people and kids and dogs and squirrels. That was the one benefit to living in the middle of the city, parks! Finding a great big tree he set his pack down and layed in the grass, wondering about nothing and breathing not cramped apartment air.

Neil was the first to notice the park and snagged both of his friends by their arms in order to drag them inside. "We are GOING TO REST!" He yowled, practically throwing Abel onto the grass, while being visibly more gentle with Ryan. He set the butterfly boy down under a tree and sighed. "You need water..."
"Water... Yeah..." Ryan heaved, sweat pouring down his forehead like a waterfall. Hot weather wasn't his friend, no, and it would never be. He needed water, he needed to cool off, he needed... He needed to go home! "Neeeeee!" He whined, his eyes filling with tears. "This sucks, I feel sick! How are we going to get home?!"
"RELAAAX!" Abel screamed, rubbing his elbow which he had been thrown upon by Neil. He gave the Wonder boy a glare and flapped his wings around, hoping to help cool Ryan down. As he did, purple eyes noticed Gabe seated under a larger tree, and narrowed into a sly sort of gaze. Maybe he could get that guy to help them out! Suddenly, he dropped to the ground and started screaming. "Ooooow! Heeeelp! Heeeeelp!" He screamed, hoping to draw Gabe's attention.

Gabes ear flicked back upon hearing the screeching child, his expression going from relaxed to concerned as he turned to see where the source was. Getting up and grabbing his bag he trotted over to the group of kids...who...looked alot like dreams. He swayed his tail at them ,"Hey buddy, you ok?" Kneeling down he looked at him, attempting to asses the issue, "Whats the matter?" Looking around at each of them he noticed they were pretty beat by the sun and frowned.

Abel smirked, but it was partially hidden by his sweat laden hair. He gazed up to Gabe and wiggled into a sitting position before motioning to Ryan. "My best friend is very sick!" He cried, his eyes growing as wide as humanly possible. "I was just up in the tree, trying to make more shade for him, but I fell out!"
Neil grimaced, Abel's lying was surely dishonorable, but it had made someone come over and check on them. He gazed to Ryan, then to Abel, and finally knelt down to look at Gabe, deciding to help the situation move a little faster. "YEAH, RYAN IS SICK!" He bellowed. "It's too hot out here for a butterfly!"
"Eehee, d-don't mind them..." Ryan mumbled, reaching his hand out to Gabe. "We came here for some food, but got lost... Our mother is in the middle of a long sleep and she can't be woken..." He sighed, his dizziness growing. "Aaaaugh..."

Gabe now feeling pretty bad for these kids reached into his trusty pack to rummage and find anything useful. Minuets later producing waterbottles and snacks galore. "Well you guys look like you need these pretty bad." He thought about the comment about their "mother" wondering if maybe she may be like them as well.....hmmmm "Well....umm you guys wanna hang out with me until your mom wakes up??" Gabe handed the butterfuly a nice cool bottle, "Here lil guy, thisll help." He gave them all a smile, hoping to lift their spirits a little.

Ryan took the water bottle with a rather pleased smile. He was so thirsty and so hot, he thought he was dying! Quickly, he guzzled about 50% of the bottle before capping it and smiling. "Thank you very much!" He chirped, before turning to Neil and Abel. "What do you guys want to do...?"
Neil was already stuffing his face full of snacks, but lunged forward to snuggle Ryan. "You're better!" He cried, nuzzling his best friend's cheek.
Abel rolled his eyes at Neil and Ryan before turning back to Gabe. "Our mom is back in the garden," He explained, chewing on a bit of food. "I don't think she would mind if you watched us, though."

"Oh cool." He looked around and pondered what they should go do, there were trees, Grass, playground. He thought the playground would be fun...but didnt know if these dreams liked em. During his thinking session he swished his tail dramatically, hoping that maybe it would help. "When you all are ready we could totally go to the playground area." He smiled at them all. "or play in the trees, or even make your mom something for when she wakes up!"
