Even though weird things would happen around him, like the time his hair turned green, his family and he were unaware of his magical abilities until there were visited by a staff member of Hogwarts who explained everything. When he attended Hogwarts, he was sorted into Hufflepuff. When he graduated, he began to travel the world (he was abroad during the latest war) to learn as much about the magical world as he could. When he returned, it was with a wife from across the pond and with a desire to teach the next generation.
