Text To Tuck Meet at the training grounds. Roland shifted uneasily in the middle of the training grounds as he tucked the phone into a pocket of his jacket. He wasn't sure what Tuck's reaction would be but it was time to find out.
Moving back to a pile of dummies like he took a seat waiting for the other hunter.

Tuck stared at that text for a long, long time. He wasn't entirely sure what to think, and he wasn't entirely sure he wanted to meet with Roland. The text felt more like an order than anything, and that alone set Tuck's hackles up. It hadn't been a polite question, or even a polite anything.
He didn't bother responding. This wasn't his battle to fight. It never had been, really, but there was no doubt that Tuck was still feeling a little put-off by his last chat with Nevada.
Tuck spent a few minutes pacing before finally deciding to don his jacket. A slow jog across the Deus grounds only took a few moments.
He didn't summon Herryk immediately, but he did watch Ro closely.

Slipping off the dummies Roland made his way towards Tuck. Hand behind his back before stopping a few feet away from the other hunter. A small frown across his face, more of worry then anger.
"Nevada spoke to me recently," he closed his eyes for a moment before looking back at him. "I'm not sure, what she wants, you, me, her sister. It's her choice. That still leaves one problem."
He nodded towards Tuck and then tapped himself on the chest. "Us. I know you aren't happy with what I did, and I'm not happy about what you did. You made a promise and I made a mistake the last time we... spoke."
He adjusted his jacket before holding out a hand, Sylvia snapping into form before resting on his shoulder. "So we have this little spar, and we put it behind us. Deal?"

Tuck summoned Herryk, the runes across the face of the axe sparking briefly before Tuck rested the weapon across his shoulder. He let his eyes linger on the colorfill of Ro's jacket, the very colorfill that boasted promotion.
"Maybe she don't want none of it." His voice sounded mildly... hurt. "Maybe she don't want you or me. I ain't got no claim on Nevada. She's grown. She's allowed to do as she pleases." Tuck stopped and gave Roland a thoughtful look.
"Fine. This little spar - one rule. No breaking shields."

Roland's jacket sported quiet a bit, pockets adorned it all over designed to hold any thing he could need for filling any role. Well, hopefully. Right now it just had a cell phone in it as he needed to buy most of the gear he wanted.
Still for a moment sympathy crossed his face as Tuck spoke, "I'm guessing, whatever you two talked about... wasn't much fun for you either." He shifted Sylvia off his shoulder leveling her towards Tuck nodding.
"Agreed."

Tuck brought Herryk off of his shoulder, brandishing the large axe in two hands. He gave an easy shrug.
"We had an agreement. I got... well. Things are complicated."
Things that didn't concern Roland, in Tuck's humble opinion.
"She needed to think some things through. So did I. Life goes on."

Roland didn't ask what the complication was, he didn't want to know. Neither of them wanted to know right now.
"And so life goes on indeed." His first swing came lazy, like two fighters testing the reach of the other ones.

Tuck's swing didn't really have any power behind it. The axe's broad side smashed into Roland, and Tuck stepped back with a strange little smile.
"I'm glad she talked to you. Told her she should. Not for you, but for her. That kinda s**t weighs on a person."

The axe brushed him aside slightly and he shook the shock off from the hit before moving to follow the other hunter. "Doesn't matter why. It's done. She's on her own to decide what's next."
He moved in again dragging Sylvia in the dirt throwing up a cloud of dust before stepping through with a series of quick blows.

Tuck's next blow had a little more power behind it, the sharp edge of the axe connecting heartily with Ro's shield.
He didn't say anything, silently stepping back after the blow to brandish Herryk with both hands.

The last blow had been heavier then the first, Tuck pushed him back once more and well out of reach for either of them to act. Instead Roland brandished Sylvia spinning her in slow arches around himself waiting for Tuck to move in again.
It seemed chasing Tuck was only going to hurt him at this rate.

Tuck moved in to attack again - harder this time. It felt good to make that hard contact of weapon against shield, and Herryk feasted hungrily. The draugr was restless, frustrated - and sparring seemed to help the weapon.
It seemed to improve Tuck's mood, as well.
Kind of.

Roland frowned only slightly as Tuck moved in again. He raised Sylvia catching the axe head and it's heavy swing with the mid point of the weapon but it still bit deep into his shield as he was pushed backwards in the dirt once more.
The pressure was too much, even as he pushed Heryk off him he found no room to counter and was stuck still on the defensive.

Tuck was not going to lose his cool. He and Nevada had had something special. A weird sort of bond, a similarity that they shared simply because they both knew what it was to have a twin, a second half to their respective wholes. She'd needed time to think, and Tuck had given it to her - all while situating his own thoughts.
Their break had given him a chance to set things right with Heidi. He had a girl. A girl he really cared about - not that he hadn't cared about Nevada, or no longer cared about her, because he did. A girl that belonged to him and only him - thanks, in part, to Nevada's advice.
"You tell me when we're finished, an' I'ma do the same," Tuck warned softly, swinging out with his axe once more. The runes sparked like blue fire. Herryk was ready to release his charge, but Tuck wasn't ready to allow it just yet.

Roland however had gained nothing, instead he had an empty page before him, an invitation left to Nevada with no expectation for it to be ever taken up. He was moving forward into the unknown with nothing beside him and perhaps that was for the better?
The axe swept in once more and Roland twisted to the side as it bit through his shield once more, Sylvia in turn lashing out wide and falling short at clipping Tuck. He only nodded at the other hunters remark, the fight wasn't done just yet.
