 Kiyaka Mayazaki Theme song It's not that I don't like you... Kiyaka sighed as she sat at her desk, crossing her nylon-clad legs and no bothering to check as her thin black skirt rose to her upper thighs. She opened her blazer in an attempt to let in the cold office air and leaned back, staring up at the ceiling. "Another day, another moment I have to spend with these damn brats," she grumbled before turning her pink computer on and looking through the files. "Let's see, no, no, no, no, n- oh! This one's interesting." Leaning closer, the principal smiled to herself as she overlooked the details of a certain teacher. "Well then, Herr Doktor, looks like you're being called in." Typing in a few number codes, the woman grinned. "And please, don't hesitate to pick up chocolate while you're on your way." ...it's just that you're in my way. OOC: Awesome nerd Alrighty, here's the lowdown. She's calling in Fields to talk about Melody's disappearance. It's nothing big, I just really want their clashing personalities to meet.

Dr. Fields About an hour and a half passed before the very teacher opened the door. Dr. Fields looked to be in his late twenties or early thirties, though his youthful enough body - which was now dressed in a brown vest over a white button-up and casual jeans - gave him a younger appearance. He had a scowl on his face and a glower in his olive eyes that wasn't too welcoming.
"Vhat do you vant?" he grunted to the principal as soon as he reached her desk, his German accent clear but not enough to mangle his words.

Kiyaka Mayazaki Theme song It's not that I don't like you... The principal, having changed by now into her normal, less business-like clothing, was sitting on top of her desk, filing her nails. Her skirt, rising to her thigh like the other, was dyed a light pink, and her purple top that accentuated her curves brought a youthful appearance to the already youthful headmistress. "Welcome, Herr Doktor," her greeted, not bothering to look up at him. "Please, sit. This is going to be a long conversation and I want you to be comfortable." Blowing a bit on her nail, Kiyaka finally looked up, her eyes sparkling with mirth. She reached behind her and grabbed a file, tossing it to him. "You know this young woman, yes? Dalia Fleischer, also known as Melody Shell. Born in Berlin, Germany, raised in Munich and Hanover, came to the states when she was sixteen. I'm sure you know her, since you slept with her." ...it's just that you're in my way. OOC:

Ah, now he remembered why he didn't like being in the same room with this girl. Kiyaka was her name, but it might as well be Mischief. She was a devious woman, lusting for skin and control. To the doctor, however, she was just a spoiled brat.
Deciding that his time would be wasted by her, Dr. Fields slowly sank down to a plush, leather seat and looked at her warily. He caught the file with relative ease and opened it up, dismayed to see a picture of Melody - or Dalia, according to the woman. Fields leaned back in his seat and against an armrest, pulling a hand up to bite at the thumbnail. A German raised brat, no wonder that woman tried to show how much they had in common, though a common language they spoke didn't interest him in the slightest.
The doctor's grip on the papers tightened and nearly crumbled the written information when he heard Kiyaka's last comment. That was something he wished to forget, not have held against him. "She vouldn't leave me alone until ein did." he muttered more to himself than to the principal before looking up at her. "So vhat? Vhy are you bringing her up?"

Kiyaka Mayazaki Theme song It's not that I don't like you... "She's dead," said the principal coldly, crossing her arms and watching the doctor. "Or at least, presumed dead. Miss Fleischer or Shell or...whatever, went missing three weeks ago whilst searching for a certain red-headed individual that I was told you were looking for." Reaching behind her again, she pulled up a small notepad, slightly singed, but still clearly pink. She opened it to a page near the middle, then started to read in German. "Dearest Doctor Fields, today is the sixteenth day of my investigation. I have had little luck in finding the red-head, but I know it won't be long. I hear reports of his appearance wherever I go, and I just know he's around here somewhere. I tried to track down Doctor Decius, but lost his trail. I do think that he's at the academy still, though, so you should look on your own. As I write this, I'm waiting in a flower field for my newest contact. He said he knows exactly where the red-head is. I can only hope he's telling the truth! Dearest Doctor, please try your best to forgive me all that I've done to you. I know to you, I'm nothing but a spoiled, stupid brat, but I really do want to help you. When I return, I'll show you just how sorry I am, and then we can be friends, instead of you hating me as much as you do. I really don't want you to hate me. I don't need your love, just your friendship. Oh, he's coming! I should finish this up. Well, I pressed another flower for you in the back. Please enjoy it! Love, Melody." Kiyaka then flipped to the back, walking over to Fields and setting the book in his lap. A small Bleeding Heart had been pressed within the pages, and the floral scent wafted up to meet them both. "Apparently, the girl was fixing to send you this as a journal of sorts to document her findings and help you. How self-centered." Sitting once again on her desk, the principal gazed down with cold black eyes. "Now then, you are the last official person to see her alive before she disappeared. Was she nervous, frightened, bewildered?" ...it's just that you're in my way. OOC:

Dead? Fields' eyes instantly widened in shock. That woman tried to find Decius and Armageddon... for him? Hearing the diary entry come to a close, Fields found his eyes sinking to the book laid at his lap and his head following. With his head tilted his brown hair ran over his face and hid his eyes; by the look of his openly grit teeth he seemed furious, but his shuddering shoulders said otherwise. Shuddered breaths frequently escaped the doctor's grit teeth, and once in a while a drop of water would fall from his face and land on the book. "That... That dummkopf..." he hissed. Why would she waste her life just to help him? Why did she want him to like her so much? What did she have to gain?!
After recomposing himself, Dr. Fields tilted his head back up to look at her, eyes red and swollen yet still stubbornly determined behind that fresh sadness. "Nein. At least... not too much." he mumbled as he thought about her freak out over her dream. "She had un nightmare of sorts, und it shook her up."

Fields only looked away. Dammit, this kind of thing shouldn't normally bother him so much. He usually couldn't care less about people or their connections to him. He never cared about anyone, even deaths and torture didn't affect him. Why was this information bothering him so damn much? Was it... because he could relate? The inability to protect someone... Fields narrowed his eyes and clenched his jaw. Damn kid...
"Ein... knew she had some feelings for me." he admitted and glanced back at Kiyaka. "But ein did not know she felt that stronger about me. Ein don't even know how! Ein didn't know her for too long."

Kiyaka Mayazaki Theme song It's not that I don't like you... "Flip to the first page." On the first page of the book was another letter. This one detailed Melody's love for Fields and why she was working so hard to make him happy, as well as what she planned for the coming investigation. She even told him of her nightmares, about how they scared her, about how her only wish was to be able to make him smile at her for something she did. At the end, Melody wrote of the first pressed flower in the back, a small edelweiss from the fields of her childhood. This one was from Germany, where her investigation officially began. "The girl seemed to have been very much in love with you for some reason. One could say that you're the reason for her death." Kiyaka sighed and then pulled out a small necklace in the shape of an edelweiss, much like the one Melody always wore. "I believe she wanted you to have this, Herr Doktor. It was found placed on top of the book, along with a neatly folded men's shirt and a pair of black boots. The neatness of her belongings is the only reason why she has been listed as missing. Had they been in any other fashion, we may have had to say she's dead." With a sigh, the principal stood and walked over, setting the necklace on the pages of the book gently before returning to her desk. "Pitiful, isn't it? Her love for you brought her to her death, or to her torture, as it is unlikely the child is simply hiding out. In many ways, it is rather beautiful in its tragedy. Now then, you must answer more questions for me. In her journal, Miss Shell details her search for a red-headed man, Who is he, and why is she looking for him?" ...it's just that you're in my way. Fields dully noted the necklace. The more Melody's written words or Kiyaka's vocal words described the one-sided love, the more guilty he found himself, and in that guilt grew confusion. "His name is Armageddon." he replied in a melancholic tone as he kept his gaze to the flower in the book, tempted to touch it but fearing that it would crumble if he did so. "Ein have been chasing him for years. Decius vas after him for so long, so ein thought if ein had the demon that ein could lure him in und get mein revenge. Ein... didn't think she vould chase him for me."

Kiyaka Mayazaki Theme song It's not that I don't like you... "Armageddon, huh?" Walking over to her side of the desk, she pulled up files and started reading. "And why do you want to lure in Doctor Decius so badly, Herr Doktor?" she asked, typing rapidly.
The flower seemed to gaze up at Fields, telling him he should've done more to protect the girl from her feelings. It almost berated him for telling her of his plans to find Decius and Armageddon, blaming him for all that happened to the girl who had last caressed the flower. ...it's just that you're in my way. Practically hearing the flower, Fields winced and closed the book immediately before shooting the woman a venomous glare. "For past reasons, und that ist all ein am telling you." he sneered.

Kiyaka Mayazaki Theme song It's not that I don't like you... "Do you want us to find her or not?" snapped Kiyaka, standing and slamming her palms onto the desk. "One of my best teachers is gone, Fields! Her class is always full with children ready to learn, and she was happy in her job here. Then all of a sudden, she left, and all we've found of her is her things and a shirt belonging to you. This woman is either dead or dying, and all because you involved her. Either you help me find her, or you go look for her yourself." Sitting back down with a vein throbbing on her forehead, the principal took a deep breath and calmed herself. "If you won't talk to me about Doctor Decius, then perhaps we should talk about your inappropriate relationship with a certain student. One of the faculty was making his rounds when he saw you kissing a male student inside your apartment. Explain immediately, Herr Doktor." ...it's just that you're in my way. OOC:

Fields gave the woman an equally venomous glare when her changed subject stopped him. The doctor froze and slumped to the point of resting his elbows on his knees, feeling all the blood drain from his face. He was caught? There were rumors?!
"Ein..... Ein don't know vhat you're talking about." he hissed and looked away angrily. "Ein know nazing!"
