the past
In 2020, the world as we know it was coming to an end.
War broke out between the nations, creating the largest war known to man. Countries turned on each other, treaties were broken, and the United Nations was over thrown. The demand for soldiers was at an all-time high, creating a world-wide draft. Soldiers as young as sixteen years old were thrown onto the line of fire, and were eventually consumed by the growing war. Countless people lie dead in the streets as the battle field grew to each corner of the globe. Hunger was a growing problem in many parts of the world, leading people to turn on one another. Parents fought for what little food they could get to feed their kids, and their kids fought for the right to stay alive. Everything was going under, as one by one the countries of the world fell to the next. Everyone was in a fight to come up on top, to be the one they could call the king of the world. As each day passed, hope for the survival of the world and those who inhabited it was slowly dropping. All signs of hope were thought to be lost as the bombs echoed in the air on a daily basis.
Until someone, finally, took action.
Twenty of the world’s countries that tried their best to stay as neutral as possible during this catastrophic war took action. Combining their troops, the countries banded together to consume the smaller rebellious nations, and finally put an end to the war in the year 2025.
People rejoiced and danced in the once blood stained streets, their souls filled with happiness as news of the wars end spread. Rebuilding the world took time, and it was truly not back to normal until five years later in 2030. The twenty countries that had pulled the world from ruins, rebuilt the United Nations, which they renamed the United Countries, and took over the roles of running the world.
