With this Sotaru has demonstrated the ability to instantly create numerous massive trees with which to attack his opponents directly, and a dense forest of flowering trees, whose pollen can render a foe unconscious. He is able to merge with and hide within trees. He is also capable of creating single or multiple wood clones using the pre-existing vegetation and wood in the immediate vicinity as a medium.

History: Sotaru is one of the remaining members of the Namikaze family. He is noted to be the most recognized and powerful shinobi's within his family and one of the most strongest and reliable in his village, which recognizes him as the "White Viper Shinobi." He is very well recognized by the village and the Hokage however, for some strange reason after serving 3 years as an Anbu since the age of 15, Sotaru left the village with no communication to anyone, not even the ones close to him. Some shinobi had been sent to retrieve them but no one had returned, they seem to have vanished to. Sotaru takes a few quick visits back to his home village every now and then but his reasons for leaving and his objectives are quite unknown...
4 years prior to Sotaru's leaving from Konoha, Sotaru received and invitation to serve as a special bodyguard among 11 other men for the Land of Fire Feudal Lord. Sotaru accepted his invitation and became a member of the Twelve Guardian Ninja. Serving for 4 years wearing his sash with pride, still to this day, of his accomplishments and returned to his militia duties as a Konoha Anbu. Being a student to the Hokage, a fellow Anbu Black Op, a member of the Twelve Guardian Ninja, Sotaru is filled with vast amounts of information about his home and several other nations.
Personality: Sotaru is a calm and collected individual who, like the ANBU members that served with him, do not allow his emotions to surface. An extremist, Sotaru preferred to directly eliminate threats through assassination and execution if diplomacy and negotiation would fail to succeed. With the summons specified beforehand, the procedure can be shortened by using blood on a summoning "contract seal" (結印, ketsuin), making it possible to use the technique immediately. The further addition of the user's killing intent can weaken their target's resolve.

• Moku Bunshin no Jutsu [Wood Clone Technique] - A clone that is created by using chakra to alter the user's own cells into vegetation. The clones can be as simple in function as a wooden dummy for use in the Body Replacement Technique or completely mobile and able to perform techniques. They have the ability to travel far from the user and are able to communicate with the original. Moreover, since the wood clone has the ability to merge with plants and trees, it is also great for reconnaissance missions. By directly touching the wood clone with his hand, the user can absorb the information it gathered and change the shape of the clone. It also has the ability to absorb a tailed beast's chakra once it is bound.
• Moku Bunshin no Jutsu [Wood Clone Technique] - A clone that is created by using chakra to alter the user's own cells into vegetation. The clones can be as simple in function as a wooden dummy for use in the Body Replacement Technique or completely mobile and able to perform techniques. They have the ability to travel far from the user and are able to communicate with the original. Moreover, since the wood clone has the ability to merge with plants and trees, it is also great for reconnaissance missions. By directly touching the wood clone with his hand, the user can absorb the information it gathered and change the shape of the clone. Unlike the Shadow Clone Technique, the wood clone doesn't disappear when hit and even appears to take the damage.
• Tajū Mokuton Bunshin no Jutsu [Multiple Wood Release Clone Technique] - This technique is essentially a mass version of the Wood Clone Technique wherein the user forms the clone-oriented hand seal and then, using the pre-existing vegetation in the immediate vicinity as a medium, creates a large number of wood clones.

The original seal allowed a small amount of the Nine-Tails' chakra to always mix into Naruto's, but the additional seal disturbs this, preventing Naruto from using the Nine-Tails' chakra or even controlling his own chakra properly. This is because an odd-numbered seal creates an imbalance when placed on top of an even-numbered seal. When Orochimaru later notices that the seal has been removed, he remarks that there are very few ninja capable of doing so, like Jiraiya.
• Five Elements Unseal [Gogyō Kaiin] - This technique is used to remove seals of up to equal power, like the Five Elements Seal. In the anime, Orochimaru stated that Hiruzen Sarutobi could also perform this technique.
• Contract Seal [Keiyaku Fūin] - When the user implements this fūinjutsu on a summoner, it removes any direct control the summoner has over a summoned creature. Close contact appears to be required for the implementation of the seal. Minato Namikaze used this technique to wrest a Sharingan-controlled Kurama from Tobi's control. Though the Contract Seal removes the summoner's ability to control its summon, it does not give the user of the fūinjutsu the ability to control the summon in turn, nor does it remove a summoner's ability to continue to summon the creature.

History: Sotaru is one of the remaining members of the Namikaze family. He is noted to be the most recognized and powerful shinobi's within his family and one of the most strongest and reliable in his village, which recognizes him as the "White Viper Shinobi." He is very well recognized by the village and the Hokage however, for some strange reason after serving 3 years as an Anbu since the age of 15, Sotaru left the village with no communication to anyone, not even the ones close to him. Some shinobi had been sent to retrieve them but no one had returned, they seem to have vanished to. Sotaru takes a few quick visits back to his home village every now and then but his reasons for leaving and his objectives are quite unknown...
4 years prior to Sotaru's leaving from Konoha, Sotaru received and invitation to serve as a special bodyguard among 11 other men for the Land of Fire Feudal Lord. Sotaru accepted his invitation and became a member of the Twelve Guardian Ninja. Serving for 4 years wearing his sash with pride, still to this day, of his accomplishments and returned to his militia duties as a Konoha Anbu. Being a student to the Hokage, a fellow Anbu Black Op, a member of the Twelve Guardian Ninja, Sotaru is filled with vast amounts of information about his home and several other nations.
Personality: Sotaru is a calm and collected individual who, like the ANBU members that served with him, do not allow his emotions to surface. An extremist, Sotaru preferred to directly eliminate threats through assassination and execution if diplomacy and negotiation would fail to succeed. However he does care for his village and for those who resides in the village and everyone that counts on him.
