It wasn't very often that her father wanted to travel and visit other tribes in Tale, but whenever he did, it was almost always to the settlement Yware, where he had a few good friends. Pahana had grown up in Yera without making very many friends, which she hoped she would be able to fix, and relished in the idea of finding a good friend who lived far away. They would be able to travel together and, if they wanted to be a Gypsy with her, they could perform together! The very idea of that made her squeal and giggle, it would be fantastic!
Cusick and Walvia had gone to greet their friends as soon as they had arrived, allowing Pahana to wander away to scope out a potential friend. Who could she talk to? Who looked like a good dancer? She giggled to herself, this would be fun!

Niadra wasn't in Yware often, her family traveled more then anything, however even though she wished she could spend all the time in the world with Nyiim when she was there she couldn't neglect practice time. Even though she was slowly becoming the best in traveling her family, she couldn't let anyone pass her, which meant she always had to be on her toes!
Today was no different, in a little clearing Niadra danced around, singing from time to time as well. Around here there were a few younglings around her, dancing and singing along, but that was all. She would have loved to have friends that were closer to her age, but other then Nyiim she didn't know many other prentices. That was one of the biggest down sides to traveling so much, it was harder for her to make and keep friendships.

So far, Pahana hadn't found anyone worthwhile to chat to. No one here seemed to be anywhere close to her age. There were people her parents age, people who were younger than her, and people who were far older than her, but no one that she could see seemed to be relatively close to her age. She sighed, pouted, and wandered towards a small clearing towards the middle of the village. Perhaps she wouldn't find her friend here after all.
As she wandered forward, the sound of Younglings singing caught her attention, and her eyes turned towards another small clearing to her left side. There, to her delight, stood a girl just her age dancing where the Younglings were singing! Her heart just about leaped out of her chest! This girl was perfect best friend material!
"Hi hi hi hi hiiiiiiiiii!" She squealed, bounding up next to Niadra. "My name is Pahana, can I dance with you? Please?!"

Niadra danced happily with the younglings. None of them were particularly good dancers or singers, but some showed practice. Maybe in a few years they would travel with her family. She was having fun really, picking up the smaller younglings and dancing with them sometimes even. Although she had meant to be actually practicing it had become more of a game then anything at this point.
She was losing track of time and reality as she danced around, and before she knew it there was a girl running up to her! It was very startling really, but the girl was pretty and had the look of a dancer. She wasn't surprised, though she was delighted, when the girl introduced herself and asked to dance with her. "My name is Niadra, and I'd love for you to dance with me!" she said happily as she took the girls hands in hers with a laugh.

Pahana squealed. She finally found herself a dancing friend! She happily took Niadra's hands and moved to do a twirl, hoping that the other girl would follow. Her balance had been roughly good today, no falls or slip ups, and she attributed it to the practice she had been doing with her aunt Ita back home in Yera. Since she started, her accident rate in the village has dropped from 100% to 80%! It was a marvelous improvement!
"Where do you come from, Niadra?" She asked, tapping her feet to a steady rhythm.

Niadra twirled with Pahana happily. This was something she hadn't expected. For the most part she knew everyone around that danced, or sung for that matter. Shards, she knew people far away that did the same! But here dancing with her was a girl she had never met. When Pahana asked where she was from she smiled. It was always an interesting question.
"I'm from here, Yware, if you have to give me a name for where I live. But mostly I'm traveling. My family has our own traveling show. We dance, we sing, pretty much everything. So you can say I grew up on the road." she said with a laugh. "You? I don't think I've seen you here in Yware before?" she asked as the two of them continued to dance around, the younglings dancing and playing around them still.

Pahana's eyes grew wide, her curiosity piqued. A travelling show? Wow! She'd never heard of such an amazing thing! Part of her wanted to ask if she could join up and travel with Niadra, but with her lack of experience still dragging her down, she figured that it was best to wait until she had a better handle on her footing.
"That's so cool, though!" Pahana chirped, minding a few of the twirling Younglings to her side. "I grew up in Yera and I still live there with my mom, dad, aunt and older brother. My mom and dad are somewhere around today visiting with friends!" She fumbled a bit as a Youngling moved too close to where she placed her foot but managed to regain her stance and continue on as if nothing had happened. "So... If your show in town today or are you just visiting for the day?"

Niadra smiled. Yes, it was very cool. It was how she had always lived, and a good chance that that was how she would live until she was too old to preform. Maybe even after she couldn't preform she would stay with the traveling troop to help mentor younger generations. Only time would tell.
When Pahana fumbled due to one of the younglings she almost moved to help her regain herself, but the girl did it herself. It seemed she had experience in losing her balance. Good, that was important in a dancer. Most of the time when dancers messed up, if they were good dancers, the audience couldn't even tell. The only people who could were those who danced themselves.
"My family comes here for the same reason, to see friends, well and to get stuff that we can't on the road of course. Most of our non traveling family lives here." she said "We are staying for about a week, but we had a show last night and most likely we will have one later tonight. When we are home we do at least three for our families." she said happily. She loved to dance, especially with Nyiim was watching.

"Oh! I wonder if my parents will want to stay to watch you perform, too!" Pahana chirped, before doing a twirl. However, just as she twirled, a Youngling jumped in behind her and caught her completely off guard. "Whoa! Watch out!"
She hobbled to the side and knocked into a few pots, but managed to not fall flat on her face. That would have been a nasty fall, good thing she had grabbed onto a wall! She turned to Niadra and blushed.
"Ahaa, oops!" She said, before wandering back over. "I'm still not mindful of where I'm dancing, I'm afraid. I've got the beat, but not the brains."

"I hope that they will! You could even join us if you would like!" she suggested. There were a few dances that were pretty universal and most dancers could pick up on those pretty easily.
Before she could say anythig more another youngling caught the girl off guard and Niadra stopped dancing to rush to her aid. Thankfully Pahana was fine. "Oh don't worry about it, you can't help it when people get in your way." she said with a shurg, in her opinion it was the fault of the youngling. "Plus you have more than enough talent to make up for being a little clumsy." she said as she held out her hand to Pahana.

Pahana's eyes widened slightly as Niadra complimented her, causing her to blush further. Talent and clumsiness didn't mix, at least not in her book. It was nice of Niadra to help her up, though! She took her hand and adjusted her balance, before smiling.
"I would love to be able to join you!" She said. "Hopefully there won't be so many people to bump into while we dance there, though!"

Niadra laughed. "There are plenty of dances where there aren't many people on stage. We could even do some just the two of us, and I'm sure that I can stay out of your way." she said as she nodded excitedly. It was always nice to dance with new people especially if they had things to teach her. This girl was pretty clumsy, of that she was sure, but she had talent and Nerida could see that just as clearly as she could see that the girl was a bit clumsy.
"So what do you say? Do you want to go somewhere without so many younglings and we can try to make up a dance all of our own?"

Pahana nodded. "I would love to!" She agreed, giggling. "Where can we go?"
She peered around, not really seeing any spaces without people in it. Maybe Niadra knew where an empty space was, after all, she did know more about this village than she did.
