 Aella had finally gotten her mother to take her to see some guy named Hoity and apparently he was her father? Or at least thats what she says but whatever, this will make a nice meeting, she always wanted to meet this guy her mother goes on about and now she is and if he is as cute and as talented as what she says he is then she was going to have a lot of fun with him, at the very least, a new wardrobe would be nice. "Aella, please, hang on! Don't rush ahead sweetheart!" She said as she smiled at her daughter, running to catch up with her as he held the picnic basket as carefully as she could whilst she caught up, putting her arm through hers and cuddled her "he isn't going to go anywhere and yet, after what happened, something tells me he has every right to but still, he promised to meet with us so just go slowly, he isn't going to run away" she said as she kissed her daughters temple "just be wary that he is going to find you a little shocking, he still doesn't want to think about the night of Grandmothers party and given you came from it well...he isn't a fan of Gods much and anything they give the mortals.""Well then" Aella said with a small smirk on her face "I will just have to get him to like me" she said, not sure how exactly she was going to do it but she will think on her feet, surely she could think of something.

 Hoity Toity sighed. He ran a finger through his hair as he adjusted his glasses to look closer at a design Rarity had drawn up and handed him, one more.... fitting of the Faun culture, if not a little less flashy as what he was used to. "I guess this will have to do....." he said to himself as he set it down on the table and riffled through a few other designs. "What I wouldn't give for some gooood flashy Fauny fashioon!" he slightly cursed aloud as he picked up a cup of water and sprinkled some into a vase of flowers.
Truth be told, he had all but forgotten he had agreed to meet anyone today and so was ill prepared for a sudden visit. In fact, he went about as he normally did, lost in thought of more pleasant things, straightening up his things, sorting sketches by a well memorized category and a few stray bits of fabric he had managed to find from the Faun clothes maker. Very little did he realize there were voices growing louder as they approached him.

Aella saw where they were meeting up and broke free of her mother "is this the place?" She asked, looking back at her mother and seeing her nod before continuing on, running onward as she stopped, noticing the guy who was hanging around some table and ran over to him and pounced on him "Papa!" She said as she clung to him and cuddled him "hi!" She said as she kissed his cheek and got off him as she saw her mother run up behind her.
"Aella!" She said said with a sigh and walked over to Hoity "I am SO sorry about her, Mr Toity, I guess she just wast eager to see you" she said as she glared at her daughter "Aella, apologize to him right now!"
Aella looked sheepishly at the male Faun and shrunk back a little "I am sorry, sir, please, forgive me" she said sincerly, if there was one thing she was taught it was her manners.
Lust walked up and kissed her daughters temple "good girl" she said as she looked back at Hoity "anyway, Mr Toity, it is a pleasure to see you again" she said, still unsure how exactly she was meant to apologize for the night of the dance, she couldn't really but she just still felt SO horrible about it.
Aella stood there and looked at her mother "so whats with the formalities? I thought you and he knew each other" she asked curiously "not to mention you DID say this guy was my father didn't you?"
Lust shook her head "we are friends, at least that is what I would like to say but that is up to Mr Toity and no, he isn't your father, I never said he was, I would of loved to say for sure he was but no, I said I liked to tease him a little about him being your father, you have selective hearing my dear" she said smiling at little at her daughter before looking back at Hoity "so, Mr Toity, how have you been?"

All had been well.... and then suddenly..... "GREAT GALLOPING !!!!" he shouted in panic and shock, the last of his sentence a mumble of pony like curses and other random things. Spinning around, he darted backwards at the same time, knocking over his table and sketches, not to mention flower and vase, spilling the water. "Princess Celestia!!" he gasped, scooping up the sketches before they could get wet. He then checked himself over, smoothing back his hair, straightened his shades and then his cuffs.....and then his collar....and his tail... and once more fixed his shades before he turned back to see what had caused this near downfall of designs.
His eyes widened..... Lust and a teenager... covered in feathers? And what did she just call him? ... Oh no no no, hadn't he been over this with her already? "Papa? No, no I'm afraid your mistaken....." he sighed and rubbed his temples. "I'm noooot your father." he drawled out, wanting to get that out first and foremost. "Also... could you nooot do that again? If these had gotten ruined, I would be just dooone for... its hard enough now living HERE." he mused, mostly to himself as he shut his eyes and let out a slight groan again before looking up at Lust. He had forgot he agreed to this....
"Ah... Lust. I was doing fabulous....ah....well. Anyways." he swallowed a bit and eyed Aella and then Lust... she brought a basket? Oh Celestia help him indeed. "What brings you may way mmm?" he asked, fixing his shades once more.

Aella stood still and let her mother speak and looked over the designs on the table "they are beautiful" she said, looking each one over a little more closely "and I am terribly sorry" she said, realizing that it would be a disaster if something happened to such pretty designs.
"Well, I wanted to see you, let Aella see the one who I couldn't shut up about as she was growing up and she...well...wants to ask your something"
"But please, can we do this over lunch? I am starving" she said as she looked at Hoity "and will you please join us? We have enough food and it isn't like I eat what you lot eat anyway" she said as she, hoping he wouldn't say no.
"Lust smiled at him softly "I also wish to say something to you that has been a long time coming, I swear though, there will be no divine intervention or whatever, it will just be us three" she said, knowing how well her family has royally screwed up any relationship she has with this guy, friendship or otherwise.

]Lunch? And now this chick wanted something from him? He could only imagine, but he wasn't sure he could give her anything. He wasn't going to go claiming she was his daughter either... these Faun had particular rules and he had no intention or no problems breaking them. As far as he was concerned, these other strange... beings were indeed very... strange and he'd like to stay as far away from him as he could. Feathered ones were included. "I'm really rather busy you know, if I could perhaps catch you at another time......
He paused while his tummy silently grumbled and he groaned. He had been working all day and forgot to eat. Maybe he could appease them and grab some lunch, politely decline the rest of their offers and get back to work. He was a busy man with things to do and places to be. "Maybe just lunch then... but after that I can't make any promises." he drawled on, not offering them a smile but his gestures were at least hospitable as he glanced at Lust. He was curious what she had to say, and she did promise no interruptions.

Lust smiled a little "thank you" she said as she nodded "and yes, I understand, an audience with you is fine enough, thank you for your time" she said as she gestured towards the path "I was thinking a nice picnic by the lake, it will relax us all" she said as she looked at her daughter "Aella, sweetheart, if you wish to go off and try and catch your food now I think it would be best, we can meet each other by the lakes edge."
Aella looked at her other and nodded, she wasn't the greatest hunter but she could catch the odd bit of food when she had to, a total clumsy fashion but she could catch something to eat "be back soon" she said as she flew off towards...well, she wasn't sure where she was going just as long as she could get something to eat.
Lust started towards the path and looked back at Hoity, softly and albeit a little sadly sighed, why did her family have to be such a nightmare? "Mr Toity, how have you been? Stupid question, I know and I have been wishing to see you for a while but I haven't been able to even think of the right thing to say, what I should do to try and make it up to you, there hasn't been a day I haven't thought of the nightmare you went through and how I have just wanted to take it all back" she said, knowing this wasn't exactly the time to be saying this but it is better to say this now and let her daughter have the spot light, so to speak, soon. "I hate what happened that night, I never meant to put you in such danger, I never ..." lust shut up, tears sprang to her eyes as she thought of that night once more, like she had done ever since, and thought of the terrified look on the males face killed her over and over again "I just wanted us to go, have fun, I make a new friend, get a couple of outfits whilst you get the recognition your designs deserve but instead I put your life in danger because of my selfishness and vanity and I don't even know where to begin to apologise" she said softly as a few tears spilt over from her eyes and trickled down her face "it turned out so wrong and saying how sorry I am and how sorry I am for my family to have upset you like they had just isn't enough and not to mention I lost that beautiful dress you made me" she said, it had been a long time coming and yet now, having actually heard her say it to him, she felt so pathetic in saying it, it just wasn't enough, it wans't nearly enough for what she put him through.

Hoity watched as the chick flew off, thinking she looked like some sort of clumsy teen Pegasus, but his attention quickly drifted back towards Lust as he reluctantly walked with her. He did his best to keep his eyes off her and keep his nose up. The quicker he was done, the quicker he could leave and get back to what really captivated his attention... and didn't jump on him to boot. At least with his quick thinking he saved his sketches from utter disaster. It was hard getting back to where one used to be when most of what really made him big was now gone.
With a sigh he rubbed his temples as he walked, not bothering to look down at Lust as words dribbled from her mouth. He only cast a sideways glance when tears and sniffles became mixed with speech. Oh great, she was crying. What was he supposed to do now? Sweep her off her hooves? That wasn't happening.... she might tear stain his collar. "Look, Lust, pleeeeease stop crying, tears never solved aaaanything. What's done is done I supose." he paused and took in a deep breath and let it out slowly. "Oooh that dress cost more than you will eeeever know, and now its gone. One of a kind! Made specially for you. I'm sorry, but your just going to haaave to understand that I'm not quite over that yet. Apologies or nooot." he said sternly and looked down at her. Yes, maybe he was being harsh but he nearly died! How do you just go and forget about that?! He should have taken Rarity now that he thought about it.... except then she wouldn't let him live it down either.... and she might be ten million times worse.... second thought, he should have just stayed home with his drawings.
With a groan, he smoothed back his hair. "Look I am sooorry, I know its not technically your fault but its not an eaaaasy thing to forget. So lets just have this lunch and be on with our day, shaaall we?" he questioned, motioning for her to continue on while returning his nose to its proper place in the air and began walking down towards the lake. At least it was nice and relaxing there, though he'd have to watch out for grass stains as well.

Lust took a few deep breaths and dried her eyes, he was right, crying wouldn't help anything and yet she still hated what happened "and yes, I know it was a one of a kind and you made it especially for me but please" she said looking at him "please tell me, if there is anything, anything at all, I can do to repaying you..." she asked, it was the least she could do after all the trouble and everything he had gone through to make her that dress. Lust shut up, he was upset with her still and that was about as obvious as if there were a large pink elephant standing in front of them, she walked on in silence for a bit before looking forward and looking at the beautiful day they had, hoping Aella was alright and nodded "yes, alright, that will be fine and I understand, believe me, I still have nightmares of that night" granted, they were more about the fact that her family had completely scared Mr toity and upsetting him greatly then anything else, she could handle her family, at least, for the most part she could but as her guest she just wanted and should of protected him and even that didn't turn out well.
"Thank you for being as understanding as you can be" she said softly, thinking about maybe getting in touch with one of her Spartan aunts, maybe she should try and learn how to protect herself and others better, besides which, it may help her with her hunting as well just encase her father ever needed her to go out for him.
Aella was a bit battered, dirt on her face, a few scratches, a couple still bleeding a little, a bruise around the eye where she ended face first into a tree, a sore wrist from where she had ended up smacking straight into another tree, hard, at a wrong angle, her wing was a little askew and she was sure something bit her or stung her on the back of the leg but over all she had finally caught a couple of rabbits and had started back to meet her mother and Mr Toity, sure she said that they would her at the lake but meh, she couldn't be bothered waitin,

Hoity sighed. Was he being too much of a hard hat about it? Maybe, but she wasn't the only one having nightmares. IF they were ever going to get to a point where he was alright being in her company, it was going to take some time.... and he certainly wasn't the type to make promises. He was a busy man... or at least he used to be.... another sigh escaped his lips. "Lets just forget about that for naaaoo and try to enjoooy this lunch." he said and tried to offer her a smile but it was one of those cocky kind of smiles that people who thought they were better than everyone else forced themselves to give others.
However his attention was distracted when something rustled and a rather beat up teen emerged from the bushes. She looked familiar...... "GOOD graciouuuuss, what happened to you?!" he gasped and took a step back. The chick looked like she had been through a twister and shot through a barrel of branches then stung by a colony of raging bees. He wasn't even sure how she was still standing, by the way she looked, she had to have broken bones somewhere or serious brain injuries.....

"Alright, lets just enjoy the lunch" she said as she looked up and noticed her daughter and quickly handed the basket tpo Hoity and ran toward her, wrapping her arms around her and checking her over "darling, what on earth happened!?" She asked, now rather worried that someone had attacked her.
"Umm...I caught lunch?" She said a little sheepishly as she held up two dead rabbits.
"That isn't what I asked! How did the injuries happen!?"
Aella sighed "not being able to fly well and two trees and I don't know what it was but something stung me or bit me as well"
Lust cuddled her daughter and kissed her temple "you need to go to the healing house, you need to get checked over" she said as she looked at Hoity "I hate to do this but would you mind if we just make a quick stop at the Healing House? I just want to make sure she is alright, nothing is permanently wrong etc, I am sorry about this but I just can't leave her and hope to think everything will be alright, I won't be able to relax and be worrying about her all the time we are having lunch."
"Mom, please, I am alright!" She said as she bent down and scratched at her leg where the sting or bite mark was "seriously, i don't think I am..." she would of continued but was interrupted.
"No!" She said to her daughter "you are going! I am sorry, but this is too important to just leave! If anything happened to you..." she said as she carefully cuddled her daughter a little more "...I don't even want to think about it, I love you sweetheart, we are going to the Healing House if Mr Toity doesn't mind, it is for the best" she said, stroking her daughters hair, silently hating herself for not being able to have taught her to fly, if she was able to her daughter may not of gotten into this miss.

He tilted his head and looked at the two through his dark purple tinted glasses. He raised a hand to adjust his collar and flick a few curls out of his face before looking over Aella. She was pretty banged up.... he still wasn't even sure how she was standing, let alone alive. This land had some crazy creatures.... but Lust seemed genuinely upset about it. There was no doubt she cared about the young girl, he couldn't deny that. "I suppooose. We can go, she does need some treatment, I dare say..... and perhaps some flying lessons." he added, musing to himself. Maybe he could find some place quiet to relax at the healing house while the other two were getting tended too......
