**as a note - Gill is legally blind. His world consists of a mass of blurs. He lost his sight at 10 and can usually figure out what those blurs are (though he got in trouble once at the zoo for calling a woman bent over and dressed in grey an elephant). Glasses might have helped him improve a little except everytime he wears them for even a minute he gets crippling migraines that last for days. Surgery is the alternative but he can't afford it. (THANK YOU IRIS!)
Hobbies: Music – Gill lost his eyesight when he was young from a bout of rheumatic fever. He can see a bunch of colorful blobs but not a whole lot else. One of the things he turned to to cope with this major life change was music. His mother taught him to play the piano because he didn’t need sight to play. He has a good ear for music now and can while away hours listening to music be it an orchestra or the latest pop song on the radio. He plays the guitar and piano mostly by ear.
Swimming – In pools, not any open body of water. Gill will spend a good hour or two in the mornings swimming in the local pool. He knows many different strokes and enjoys the feeling of the water and the easy measured pace swimming affords. Not to mention, this is a great cardio workout and burns off those pesky calories from his love of food. He is careful in new pools but in no time at all he knows the count, by stroke, to get from one end to the other and can swim the length with easy and without worry.
Foodie – Like any classic French citizen Gill appreciates good food and the finer things in life. While he may not be able to cook them he can certainly savor them when made for him by his mother or a good restaurant. He learned from a young age that food did not necessarily have to be sophisticated to be good and not all expensive food is worth the price. He loves to find the subtle differences in cuisine made by different chefs and his developed palette helps with that. He is often found in town trying the newest fare to be offered. His favorite place, though, will always be his mama’s kitchen.
People “Watching” – He may not be able to see well but that should not suggest that Gill is not aware. He is, incredibly so. One of his favorite things to do is just sit in a public place and listen to the sounds of life around him, imagining how it all looks in his head. He hears snippets of conversation here and there and puts the pieces together like one big play unfolding before him every minute of every day.
Virtues: Optimistic – What most people consider a handicap Gill considers a blessing. Because of his limited eyesight he has developed his other senses to compensate and does not feel like he is handicapped in any way. In fact, nothing much gets this guy down. He will always look on the bright side of any situation because, after all, who ever solved anything by being negative?
Caring – Gill knows what it’s like to be on the outside of things. Kids can be cruel and he endured his fair share of teasing and bigotry. Because of this he has challenged himself to be that much kinder to the world at large, killing them with kindness. He enjoys caring for everyone and will always offer a shoulder, an ear, or whatever he can to make sure those around him know that he’s there for them: even if they’re a complete stranger!
Hard Working – Gill will work himself to the bone when he needs to. He doesn’t mind setting himself to any task in front of him. He is not one to shirk responsibility or try to weasel out of a little elbow grease effort. When he needs to he will commit himself 100% to getting whatever task is at hand accomplished.
Self Improving – Gill is always trying to improve himself mentally and physically. He listens to books on tape and reads as much as possible (via Braille most of the time) and spends time working out and getting stronger. He always tries to think of ways he could care better or do something else to help others. The only exception to this seems to be that he is oblivious to his flaws and instead spends him time trying to work on his merits as well as his body and mind.Flaws: Defensive – Not of himself. Gill is extremely defensive of others because of his caring qualities. Though this might have been a good thing most of the time he takes it too far, overcompensating in an effort to protect others even from jests between friends or imagined slights! He doesn’t think anyone deserves to be teased no matter who’s doing it or the intention behind it. Life is cruel enough sometimes, ok?
Vague – In most things Gill is unbearably vague. When asked how he’s doing most of the time you’ll get “I’m ok.” When asked if he likes something he’ll often shrug. “It’s ok.” When asked where he wants to go: “I don’t know.” Only when he is trying to help someone is he even remotely precise (and verbose) and that is only because he is talking about someone else – not himself.
Indecisive -- NEVER look to this guy for the decision-making. He’s just not that guy. Because he cares about people he cares about EVERYONE and is always worried about any decision he makes hurting or upsetting them. His response? Let everyone make the decisions for him so that they can take responsibility. When pressed for a decision he waffles so much he could start his own breakfast bar and therefore not much really ever gets done if he’s in charge of anything.
Bit of a Snob – Though he didn’t grow up rich or with any real advantages other than having terrific parents Gill still sort of has this idea that he’s better than those around him, especially crass Americans. He disdains the wide spread cultural lack of manners, reliance on cell phones and computers, and the overall lazy and fruitless lifestyle and tendency to whine/complain/remain ignorant. Because he holds himself to high esteem and makes sure to keep his own manners and mind sharp he feels anyone that doesn’t is lazy and therefore contemptible. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Attacks: Sailor Scout Attack: Moliere Dig!
To summon this power Moliere calls this attack and raises his hands. Out of the ground little holes start springing up around his opponent as if a mole has gone to town on the soil. The holes are no larger than a softball, just enough to trip over if an opponent isn’t careful, which is the goal. This attack forces an opponent to take things slow or risk being tripped. The holes are random around the opponent and the attack develops over about 15 seconds. (creating 5 good holes in a random circular pattern around his target) and only lasts 15 seconds after the last hole is created. The holes do not last and disappear when the 15 seconds are up. A clever opponent might realize what is happening and dash away quickly before too many holes are completed. This attack also does not work on pavement or concrete. It can be summoned twice in battle. Super Sailor Scout Attack: Moliere’s Master Dig
Exact same as the first only 10 holes are created over 15 seconds and the holes are the size of a soccer ball to more easily hinder/trip an opponent. It may also be summoned twice per battleEternal Sailor Attack: Moliere’s Even Playing Field
To summon this power Moilere calls the attack and puts his hands over his eyes. Within a 10 feet radius of himself everyone’s eyesight is limited to that of a mole, able to distinguish light from dark and able to detect movement. This puts him at a slight advantage since he is used to seeing with less than perfect vision. If someone clever figures out about the movement and stays still they are pretty much invisible. The power lasts for 45 seconds and can be very disorienting. The radius stays stationary when Moliere moves but anyone that moves in or out of the circle deactivates/reactivates the power for the time limit. This affects allies or opponents – anyone within that radius when the power is called. When the power ends blinking a few times automatically adjusts eyesight back to normal. He may use this only once per battle
