My Teepee The sound of a whimper and a grunt broke the silence of their den. Howl rolled over and whined in apology as a stray hoof hit his brothers stomach. Slowly his eyes opened and he stared blankly at the wall of his families den. It was morning and quiet...which wouldn't be for long. His yawn turned into a miniature howl. He had to keep up his name sake after all. Dad was still missing and he could tell his mama was getting nervous. He could tell these things. Maybe he could get her something to cheer her up? He slowly was becoming more awake. Maybe a flower? Or oh maybe one of those rabbit things she likes? Yeah!
As quiet as he could he got up. He looked at his mama and kissed her on her head. He paused hardly breathing when his mama mumbled and moved around before settling down. That was a close one! Howl began to look around the area and frown when none of the flowers were pretty enough for his mama! Maybe... if he ventured further out it would be okay. Just for a second, a minute!

Half lidded, silver eyes struggled to open as the large purple and orange stallion peered around the clearing he and many of his family member inhabited. Silence. Golden silence filled the crisp morning air. The two butterflies that constantly followed Akino now flew around, searching the dew covered flowers for a bit of morning nectar. It was a peaceful scene that most soquili would enjoy. Akino, however, had grown bored with this usual morning ritual. Slowly, the stallion began to stretch each leg, then his back and up to his neck. A groan escaped the stallion as his wings now stretched out to their limit, making him look even larger than normal.
Another dull day. With a huff, Akino pondered what he would make of this day. Perhaps he would visit his mate. His muzzle twisted for a moment. She was a beauty, but at times a bit difficult. He laughed at the thought of her thinking she was more gorgeous than Akino himself. Ha! Soon, the stallion was snapped from his thoughts when a bit of grass in the distance was disturbed by something or someone. Standing tall, the stallion marched forward to investigate.

This was it! THIS WAS IT! Howl had found the most wonderful flower ever. Oh but wait that one was nice too...and that one. "Ughh." He pawed the earth a moment in frustration. Maybe he could bring them all? That thought was pleasing and so he began to collect'em all. He was almost done when a noise disturbed his collecting song. Howl looked up and up and up with wide eyes. A stranger. Uhoh, mom warned him about these. "Stranger danger!!" He warbled out before backing up a little bit.
cyhorse sorry its been a busy morning. Mom had surgery, had to take my grandma to the doctors, my aunt got in an accident (someone ran a red light)
