When the attack struck her, Desdemona curled in her arms with a metallic squeak, and she tilted her glassy head down over her eyes.
“Memento,” Juno hissed.
The lamp Pokémon’s pale violet flame began to flicker, and her entire body quivered. The flashing came faster and faster until, with a final burst of light, it died entirely.
Juno Leoni recalled her spent Pokémon, sparing the briefest of glares for her opponent before turning on her heel and stalking away.
