She had been wandering for days, but it felt like weeks and she wasn't about to stop. There had to be something out there that filled her curiosity or even brought a little bit of danger to her life. Ever since she met Astraea she had calmed down greatly. She didn't attack out of nowhere now and held her anger back. This was a huge step for someone like her who only knew how to be an animal. She still had mental issues, but she felt more at peace now. She tightened her wings against her back feeling the cool air sweeping by her. She hadn't realized she had climbed up the mountains until now. The dagger like wind was cutting through her like ice and she couldn't really fly in these conditions. Maybe it would be safer if she found a cave or something? She didn't know what she could do at that very moment, but it was getting colder.

"Me and my curiosity." She mumbled and walked on further feeling the cold air die down a good bit. This caused her to stretch out her wings and sigh. "Finally.." She gave a toothed grin and looked around for a place to possibly rest or maybe she could find a quick snack. Rolling her shoulders, she walked forward and stepped in a small hole. She twisted her foot and tumbled down a small rocky hill before finally settling with a thud.

Lifting her head, she gave a small groan and couldn't believe she did something like this. She knew she couldn't get up so she didn't even try. Resting her head against the cold stone beside her, she would simply have to wait unless a miracle happened.

Heavy thuds resonated against the sides of the semi steep mountains that overlooked the kawani lands. For the soquili that were not used to these slopes, the climb could be a dangerous journey. If the unforgiving sides of the mountain didn't make the journey difficult enough, then the unpredictable wind would finish the job and remove any soquili that lingered along the slopes. Of course, those that had made the climb many times or those that chose to live their lives on these dangerous lands knew how to travel along the mountain side without slipping and plummeting down the sides of the mountain.

Amongst the sound of the howling wind, a large stallion trudged along the moist land. His head lowered slightly and ears pinned back against his skull to keep the wind from obstructing his hearing. With the dying wind, the harsh howling became nothing more than a soft whistle and the large stallion could feel his mane rest against his neck once more and the feathers of his wings calm for a moment. Gypsy lifted his head slightly, but braced himself for another potential gust of wind. As he picked his steps carefully, the stallion found his mind wandering. Why was he here in these lands? A sigh escaped the large stallion as he carefully dug another heavy hoof into the side of the mountain, testing the strength of the soil before allowing his full weight to rest against the land.

His thoughts were interrupted when he thought he heard what sounded like a soquili or other large creature crashing against the brush and rocks that covered the side of the mountain. Determination overwhelmed the stallion as his pace quickened, but he remained cautious as to not end up like the very soquili he was attempting to help. Blue eyes darted around until he spotted a bit of red among the rocks. Snorting, Gypsy quickly approached the mare as concern overwhelmed his features. Was she still alive? "Hello? Might I offer my assistance?" Formal yet cheerful or as cheerful as he could be at a time like this.

The mare heard someone speaking and didn't know who or what it was at first. She lifted her head slowly and saw the stallion standing there making her huff a bit. He was a wind and not someone that looked like she was a savior, but he was better then nothing. There wasn't much she could do other then lay there on the ground like a dead animal. "I'm alive..' She mumbled stretching out her wing and trying to stand up on her feet. It didn't work, so she ended up stumbling back down to the ground with a loud groan. She was helpless and for a kalona this wasn't good. "Could you actually carry me or help me someplace? I could use the help, but are you willing to trust a kalona?" She asked with a hiss under her breath wondering what this stallion was going to do.

"You look really incapable of doing anything." She told him before stumbling up to her feet again and then back down. "Ugh bad day to come up here." She grimaced and felt the winds begin to slow down.

Stubborn as a mule... perhaps all kalona were this way? Honestly, the stallion had never come face to face with a creature quite like this mare. Yes, of course there were stories that traveled through the mountainside, but he never really believed them to be true or if they were it seemed the other soquili were overly exaggerating the story. His muzzle twisted slightly as he assessed the puzzle he now had laying before him. This mare's only hope for the time being was Gypsy and it seemed she had little faith in the stallion. Blue eyes peered at the slope of the mountain. There was no chance of them being able to make the trek up the mountain, which left them with the option of staying still or taking a chance and going down the side of the mountain.

Quirking a brow, a smirk slowly formed on the stallion's face as he peered down at the mare. No, he couldn't carry her over his back, but he could potentially support her weight. Slowly the stallion began to figure the problem out as the mare began to question his abilities. "If you want my help, I will be able to attempt to get you to safety at the bottom of this mountain... it will take a bit of time, however." He had seen many soquili harm themselves while attempting to climb up this mountain. Lucky for the two of them, this mare seemed to be a fighter.
