Any encounters? Oppinions on the afterlife? Share here.
Hmm...since I made the thread I suppose I should start this off...lets see, I've heard many ghost stories from my relatives, though I must admit, I have not encountered a ghost before. So...which story should I say first...? Hmm...AH! I know! My grandparent's old house used to be VERY haunted indeed. I've got a lot of stories on that house, but I'll just share one for now. Lets see...my cousin Alex(AKA MajikUser) and my other cousin Nene were hanging out outside my grandparent's house(Nene and his family bought the house shortly after my grandparents moved), and Nene told my cousin Alex that he wanted to show him something in his room, so both of them went into Nene's room, but before they walked in, Nene's basketball was literally bouncing from one side of the room to the next-not touching the ground-then the ball suddenly hastened to get back up on Nene's bed where it naturally was as if trying not to alarm my cousins. Naturally, they high-tailed it outta there after seeing that.
Aw what the heck? Here's another one, which I find to be most unnerving...
My cousin Jorge(pronouced "Jor-jee") and my cousin Mike used to live in the guest house behind my grandparent's house. One day, my uncle found a Freddy Krueger stuffed doll in a trash bin at his work. The doll was in perfect shape. So, my uncle brought it back and gave it to Mike. They put it in the same spot, by my cousin's tv in their room. Mike and Jorge shared a room and slept in bunk beds. My cousin Jorge slept on the bottom. Anyway, every night the doll kind of unnerved Jorge, he felt as though the doll was constantly watching him. So, he grabs the doll and takes it to the living room and puts it on the couch. The next morning, the doll is found in the exact same spot next to the tv. So, Jorge stuffs the doll deep inside his toy bin-all the way at the bottom-the next day, he hears the toy's voice(it had a pull string) coming from the kitchen, so he runs over to the kitchen and finds no one there. So he goes back to his room and he hears the voice again, but this time it's coming from the toy chest. He opens up the toy chest and pulls out the toy...what the hell was pulling on the pull string? He thought, because the string wasn't caught on anything when he pulled the doll out. Completely unnerved now, Jorge takes the doll about 4 to 5 blocks down and throws it over a fence that lead to nowhere basically. The next morning, the doll was back...in the exact same spot...staring at him. Completely fed up with the doll, Jorge grabs the doll and buries it about 5 feet under ground. Never saw it again after that.

Well, ever since we've moved to this house, the bedroom next to mine has just been creepy. Whenever you walk in there you get the chills. Mother and I have even tried to do exorcisms in there because it's so strange. One day she lined the windowsill with protective stones, all of different colors with gold signs enscribed on them, to protect her while she sleeps. But when she woke up, all the stones had been turned over. eek
It's not that scary. Except for the fact that my mom owns protection stones... that's uber creepy.

Ok, so last month I went up to Boine Mountain to go skiing. So my ex-girlfriend (still good friends) asked me to go skiing with her and I said ok because her uncle is ski patrol there so I got all discounts and.....sorry, went a little ok subject there....but anyways we stayed in her uncle's cabin. So we were all sitting there watching I-Robot (Which sucks a**) and all the sudden we see something start to move. The VHS of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi slided out of the box, floats over to the table and then just drops. We were all sitting there, shocked, when I see something in the corner of my eye. My ex-girlfriend's uncle looks over at he stairing at their Lay-Z-Boy chair and says "Yeah..this cabin is haunted by.." And then I inturupt him and say "A old looking man in a flanel shirt and overalls with a currly brown mustach?" Her uncle turns white and says "Y..yeah, how'd you know....did amanda (my ex) tell you?" And I turned to him, and by now im shakeing uncontrollably and a said, "No....he was just sitting right there", and I pointed to the Lay-Z-Boy. Needless to say we didnt get that much sleep that night.

Here's one that got me shakin' in my boots:
My cousin Alex's(MajikUser) uncle(on his side of the family) told my cousin that he's seen two demons in his life. Apparently there's this thing about demons that Jesus would show you them when you're "ready". So anyway, Alex's uncle's first sighting was in his uncle's living room. The demon was standing by their fireplace, naked and wings sticking out from the back. He said it was the ugliest creature he has ever seen. Supposedly, when you see a demon you're supposed to yell out these words with passion: "If Jesus didn't send you, then leave right NOW!" So that's what he did, and the demon disappeared. Shortly after(about a couple of weeks or so), A man arrived to his doorstep disguised as a real estate agent. As they were talking Alex's uncle noticed something odd about the man speaking to him. Not sure what it was, he didn't take any chances and stood up yelling those words out once again: "If Jesus didn't send you, then leave right NOW!" The man suddenly flew upside down, sticking to the ceiling and growling at him. He said those words once again, "If JESUS did NOT send you, then LEAVE right NOW!" The demon disappeared.

MAN IT SUCKS TO BE YOU PEEPS not having one good encounter with a ghout / demon ( after life ) ....
I for one have had an encounter or at this point i would say its safe to say IM haunted.... its kinda like a danger sense or when something sudden is going to happen that impacts me or people in my family ( so it would seem ) this has only surfaced 2 times in my life but i TRUELY believe i am....
haunted by my grandmother ===> about 2 or 3 days ( dont remeber exactly how long ) before my uncle john had a heart attack as i was walkin from the school bus stop like i normally did ( i was 13 ) after school an as i open'd the door to my house i felt a gash or stab at my heart an head felt as if sumthing instantly got me impaled with a knife or something in those 2 spots simualtaneously i instantly fell to my hands an knees almost to the point of crying with soo much pain then it was like almost gone this lil event only lasted like 4 or 5 secs i can hardly remember the feelings but wut i still remember an what i will ALWAYS was seeing my grand mother as the pain lifted in front of me an said.... "me ho ( i dont know how to spell it in spanish ) you gotta be strong for everyone an bring everyone together" after hearing that i was alarmed what the hell was she talkin about i was a 13 year old kid wut the hell was i gonna do an on top of that bring em together for what ?!? i ponder'd about it for a day or two then the next day i was in my room listening to music an i overheard my mother with a LOUD outburst of tears an it was at that moment that i knew my grandmother meant for me to bring everyone together both in terms of money ( liveing near each other without the obstacle of money ) an raidating love to all my cousins / aunts / uncles / etc / etc which is why imma try my best... ( ROFL how did i get to this ?!?!? lol ne ways went WAAAAY off subject lol but ya ) i dont want to talk about my other encounter cus i have told no1 in the whole wide world of it plus i not comfortable speaking of it sad

There is a house on my block (true story I swear) that is"Haunted". An old lady moved in there and after a few days she would hear doors opening and ckloosing in her house. she walked downstairs and no one would be there. the next night she locked every door in her house and she still heard noises and doors opening. the lady moved out scared to death and a young kid moves in, he's about 23. The first day he heard the noises there he disregarded it. The next day he heard them again and locked the doors. In the morning he woke up on the floor and the door was open. He remembred he was having a nightmare and fell off a cliff in his dream. But later that day he called a person to come inspect his house. The people found a flaw with the water heater on the first floor. It was faulty and would shake the walls sometimes. This caused some doors to unlock and open on their own. He called and had someone replace the heater and the problem was solved. The moral of this story is.... Old people are stupid. I would appreciate any comments on this.
