Went shopping today, most definitely went overboard on the pet-presents, specifically for Saphi.

Collar (the white design glows in the dark -not that I'll be able to see it with all her fluff), toy, fabric for covering the window-sills she likes to sit on, bed-scratcher-play-land-thing, carpet-covered scratcher (this one's being put away until I change the flooring and get rid of the carpet, though), and not pictured is a bag of litter (different brand than I have been buying, but it's five pounds more for a couple dollars less so I'm going to try it out

Spoiled the dogs a bit too, with a couple new toys (pink elephant and a green snake-thing) and more treats (peanut butter cup things and bison tendons), and not pictured is another bag of kibble for Bella

(can't wait for next week when Zoe's gone home so I can bring out the elephant [too high a risk of her wrecking it] - love the kong toys for the cat and dog and could not resist a bright pink one like this)

What has everybody else "recently" bought to spoil pets with?

I LOVE TO SPOIL THE BEASTS!

I just ordered a spoiled rotten box off of petflow.com and Im pretty satisfied. It came with 2 kinds of Natures Balance Treats, milk and yogurt Pets Naturals treats, 2 cans of Royal Canin, some type of liquid dental cleaner, and a little rattler toy thinger majig.

The treats are small and Mister is the only one who will eat them. smile Freyja doesnt really go for treats suprisingly. D: And they both liked the canned food.

It cost me 25$ for about 40$ worth of items.

Edit: The cat tree. And I went and got some things at the dollar store the other day (theyre really digging the fish on a stick toy with straw for the fish tail), aaaannnnndddddd.....shockingly I didnt get them anything off of Amazon this paycheck. I was looking at THIS for them but for the price, and based on the reviews, it looks better than it is. D: Esp with the super spastic while he plays 15 pound Mister cat. Great idea, but they need to make the whole thing better with the design.

I've been trying to find one of the those mouse-under-a-blanket toys at the pet stores around me recently - I think it's something Saphi would really like. Can't find it in stores, don't want to order online at this point. I haven't looked at the reviews much. Price is a killer, though. Might just try to see what I can do with what we have around the house instead eventually.

Its such a cool idea!!! I mean, its a solo toy that moves on its own.

The only things that I didnt like about the reviews was that:
The batteries only last an hour. The motor is easily broken.
Larger cats will destroy it, not made very well.

And so on and so forth. I mean, Id still like to get one, and have the cats get a kick out it while it lasts....

I think it would be great, even as just a five minutes before bed thing (I don't think I could have it on with Bella around without interference; wouldn't really want to leave it on when I'm not home because of the whole electronics malfunctioning thing); could worsen the blanket-pouncing thing, though...

Quality may depend on brand, as well.
I haven't really looked at reviews for them yet, and on account of not being able to find them in the stores I guess it's not a big concern right now.
