Red red red red red red red red redneck......
About halfway through Inferno, Blake Shelton's Boys Round Here rang throughout the arena and the crowd had a puzzled look on their face wondering who was about to make their way out from the back. After about a few seconds a man clad in some wore out, hole-filled blue jean over-alls made his way out from the back, looking about as simple as simple could be as he looked out into the crowd with a slightly nervous look on his face. He stood at the top of the ramp for a moment with a smile, and several of the women in the crowd could not help but swoon over this man, because even in all his simplicity..there was a simple kind of charm about this man.

"Well the boys 'round here don't listen to The Beatles
Run ole Bocephus through a jukebox needle
At a honky-tonk, where their boots stomp
All night; what? (That's right)
Yeah, and what they call work, digging in the dirt
Gotta get it in the ground 'fore the rain come down
To get paid, to get the girl
In your 4 wheel drive (A country boy can survive)"
Yeah the boys 'round here
Drinking that ice cold beer
Talkin' 'bout girls, talkin' 'bout trucks
Runnin' them red dirt roads out, kicking up dust
The boys 'round here
Sending up a prayer to the man upstairs
Backwoods legit, don't take no s**t
Chew tobacco, chew tobacco, chew tobacco, spit
Tommy would begin to make his way down the ramp, walking to each side of the barricade on his way down, slapping the fans that were lucky enough to be that close high fives. He even stopped for a moment to sign an autograph for a kid who was standing at ringside wearing a cast on his arm before taking his dads phone and snapping a picture with the kid. The fans showed their approval for this class act from this newcomer as he continued to make his way down the ramp as the announcer who was just informed of this mans name billed him in while his music continued to play.
Ring Announcer- Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome at this time from Hickman, Kentucky 'Backwoods' Tommy McClure!!!!
"Well the boys 'round here, they're keeping it country
Ain't a damn one know how to do the dougie
(You don't do the dougie?) No, not in Kentucky
But these girls 'round here yep, they still love me
Yeah, the girls 'round here, they all deserve a whistle
Shakin' that sugar, sweet as Dixie crystal
They like that y'all and southern drawl
And just can't help it cause they just keep fallin'"
Tommy would slide into the ring and quickly make his way up to his feet, before walking up to the turnbuckle and climbing up onto the second rope and anyone close enough to see his mouth moving would notice that his lips were moving along with his own entrance music. He would hold a hand in the air and stand there for about ten seconds before jumping off of the ropes and walking over to the audio guy who would hand him a mic, and he would signal for his music to be cut and he would raise the mic to his mouth to speak for the first time in his professional career.
"Hey, how's errybody doin' here tanight?"
The first sentence to escape Tommy's mouth revealed his extremely thick southern accent, and it would only become more apparent as he continued on.
"Well I gotta say, it shore does feel good to be standin' here tanight in front of all a ya'll it's a real honor. When Jarel gave me'a call ta come ''n compete here in DHW I gotta say, I really wuz shocked that he would want a simple guy like me to be here in front of a y'all. But as shockin' as it wuz ta me, I told 'im that I'd be here ta do whut I do best, and that is put on one helluva show for everyone here in attendance."
The crowd listened to this man speak, and were amazed at how truly humble this man was to be here. That was rare in a newcomer which in most cases a new guy would come out here and tell everyone how great he was, and how many titles he was going to win. Tommy was the exact opposite as it would appear that even he was shocked that he got the attention from Jarel and was now signed to DHW. Tommy would pace the ring for a moment before continuing on.
"But ya'know somethin', I can't just come out here tanight 'n talk...I need some action so I'm gunna issue a challenge ta anyone in the back ta come oon out here 'n put on a show for all these payin' fans and let these people see some more'a what the came here tanight ta see..so ya'll don't leave me standing out here alone...whose it gonna be?"
McClure would stand in the middle of the ring, still holding the mic in case he had to speak again.
