My names Melanie I saw my daddy get cut up and thrown in a garbage bag and dragged out of his room after being told to hide in the closet, I didn’t know blood looked so pretty at night.
My names Milo I saw my mother get raped and beaten to death when she came and told me to hide inside my room, I didn’t know joints could bend that way.
My big Brother’s name is Milo he always tells me stories of mommy our new home full of strangers.
My little sister’s name is Melanie she likes to draw pretty pictures of mommy alone away from people.
When I was 5 a mean girl stole my markers her name was molly, I cut her open gave her some pretty stones and showed her some cool fish in the pond, I wasn’t able to wear that dress any more the stains wouldn’t come out.
When I was 6 a boy hit me with a ball, I tied his arms together around the ball with no rope played base pall with him, and helped him climb a tree, I liked those shoes after that.
That year strange men came and looked through our room and took away, my old dress, my favorite shoes, and we never got them back.
When I was 8 I heard a girls talking about my brother behind his back, I told her it wasn’t nice and taught her how to cook, dinner was good that night.
When I was 9 i saw a boy staring at my sister, I told him not to stare, I also found a new way to play with scissors and spoons.
On my, 10, 11, birthday I wanted to see something pretty so me and, Milo, Melanie, when around with some new toys I found in the shed, we saw lots of pretty colors that night.
After a week of being alone with my big brother a tall man came to visit us.
I couldn’t see he man’s face.
But he said he’d play with us.
We were given a pretty new room, cloths, and toys.
He would send us food and teach us some fun new games.
