Rishima pouted with a sigh. Loosing all this baby fat is going to be a b***h. The sound of her sons howling brought Rishi out of her thoughts and a smile on to her face. So far they had inherited her tail and of course Fae's. A frown crossed her face at her strangely absent mate. This wasn't like him at all and it was beginning to cause some worry. Now that they had three young ones, it was time for a stronger bonding experience and boys. Oh my gosh boys! Challenging and male problems... Rishi hoped that she could handle the questions they asked. Wincing and smiling at her sons latest howl caused her to yell out his name. "Howl! Darling mommies ears hurt honey you are too loud." A perfect name for her white and black bundle of joy. You'd never hear one howl so much! Maybe he got it from her father Jacob.

He wobbly around unsteadily making sure to stick close to his mother and siblings. This was great! Being out of that basket sure was fun stuff. There were so many smells, sounds, and things to explore! Just the thought of wandering around caused his tail to wiggle in excitement. He worked himself up so much that a sound came out of his throat and caused him to stare at his mom in shock. Was that him? Did he do that? Ooooh! The foal sucked in a lung full of air and belted out a louder as well as longer sound. His mothers voice made him stop abruptly though and he tilted his head. Howl? Was that him? He moved closer to his mothers stomach it was nice and squishy. Howl decided to tell her so and--oh mommy didn't like that. Gotta cheer her up. "Love yew mama."

Squishy?! Rishi frowned down at Howl with amusement. "Momma loves you too sweetheart." Her boys were definitely going to be heartbreakers when they are old enough to know what a female is and are past the cooties stage... In fact. No, no she did not want to think about that just yet. They were her boys until then and if any female wanted them they would have to get past Momma Wolf. Her other two were nestled behind her gathering warmth and comfort. This was the nesting and scenting stage and she loved it. There early howling was gone and replaced with sleepiness. "What do you want to do today little Howl? Should we let your bothers rest for a little bit and have some of that dried rabbit that papa brought for us a while ago?" It wasn't very often that she craved meat and she wondered if her boys would too. Must be the wolf in their genes. "Or do you want some fruits?"

Howl came closer and burrowed his head into his mothers neck at her declaration of love. "Rabbit mama?" Howl sniffed the air trying to find out what this mysterious rabbit was and why they would want to eat it. "What's that? Mmm berries." He had them a while back and the thought of the sweet as well as juiciness made his body wiggle happily. "Fruits! Fruits! Then after... um." He gave pause to think. "'bout swimmfin?" He pouted at the anxious look on his mothers face, usually that wasn't a good sign.

"Well," Rishi shifted a little bit causing her other two to whine before quieting down to a sleepy snuffle. "It has long ears and a soft, round, white poufy tail on his-" She long gated her neck and nudged Howl on his bum causing him to giggle. "-butt. They enjoy living underground and how to spot when is... well when you see a circle or hole in the ground. But fruit that is a good choice too! Mommy could go for something juicey." Howl's next words caused her to pause. Flipping her long tail back she thought a moment. Swimming. That was a scary thought. Three little ones and one adult if anything were to happen... Rishima would never forgive herself. "Maybe we should wait until daddy comes home-" or if they were lucky enough to find a very shallow pool. They were so young yet and learning to walk on their legs. By the frown on Howl's face he clearly didn't agree with her suggestion. "How about a game of tag? Or running?" Two birds, one stone. Lose weight and spend time with her darlings.

On the butt. Butt, what a silly word. He tittered a moment before jumping when his mother tapped him on his bum. Howl's happy thoughts were interrupted with mama's next words though. A frown began to form on his cute little face and then he pouted when his mother basically told him no swimming. "Awwwh--oh! RUNNING!" Howl liked that idea very much and the thought of strengthening his legs was appealing. He moved forward jerkily and then began to move quicker and quicker around his mother. Only stumbling once or twice. Honest. This was--ouch.

Rishima shook her head in exasperation, it was interesting raising babies. Well, it had been interesting so far. "Running it is then!" Rishi spoke cheerful before careful detangling herself from the rest of her children. Maybe she would set up an obstacle course or hide things in order to practice their senses. "Hmm," Pondering she began to move a few steps away. "Stay there a moment Howl and no peeking." She watched as her son quickly looked away, it was nice having them listen. Probably wouldn't last very long though, so she would enjoy it while she could. "I'm going to set up a little game and after I'll explain what you have to do."
