Canyon Field: The canyon walls towers high towards the ceiling while the ground sinks downwards several levels, making the top and bottom of the field very difficult to see without special equipment. The cliff faces are very steep with little ridge support for grabbing and climbing; on top of that, the rock faces are very damp which makes grabbing and holding on very difficult. A few skinny trees and roots jut out from the cliff and allow smaller, nimbler pokemon to grab and swing around. At the very bottom of the canyon’s long drop is a deep pool of water. Keeping up is difficult for trainers on this particular battlefield, so stadium officials have set up a special view screen on each of the trainer platforms. A mini camera will follow your pokemon around while it battles (of course, it’s programmed to back off when a pokemon does an attack) and the view screen will enable trainers to issue commands to their companions via microphone. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FLYING and ROCK type attacks.

Doyle and Agrona walked into the stadium. Their opponent from last time was willing to battle with them again. This time the field was different and Agrona recognized it. She growled at the canyon not happy to see it.

Mary walked into the stadium, Kaiser following behind her. The little pokemon looked around and saw the screen that was panning over the battle field, he was happy to see there was a large body of water at the bottom.

Doyle looked at the screen that was showing the battle field and frowned. Best to keep the battle up here. "Stun it Agrona!" He called.
Agrona was happy to comply. She rushed forward and went to bite down with a lighter Thunder Fang. With the attack toned down like this it would stun the pokemon being hit.

Kaiser had been hoping to dive down into the water below but the stuning attack made it hard to move.
"Use rock tomb!" Mary called. The rock type attack had field advantage and would work just as well as a water attack if the water pokemon couldn't get to the lake below.

The piplup was able to move its wing enough to hit one of the rocks and send it flying at the houndoom.

Agrona snorted at her trainer and thus missed the rock coming at her until it was nearly too late. She managed to move so she didn't get nailed but it still hurt. Once more she tried to paralyze her opponent.

Agrona was blasted back from how powerful the attack was... and the fact that there were some really large rocks sent at her. She was slow to pick herself up and had to take a moment to take stock of the situation. Once she was sure nothing was broken she rushed at Kaiser with her fangs electrified.

Once more Agrona was knocked off her paws. She could barely stand up after that last attack. It took longer than it should have for her to catch her breath and get ready to attack. Once she was ready she again tried a Thunder Fang.

"Aerial ace!" Mary commanded the piplup.
Kaiser shook off the pain from the thunder fang. He quickly darted around the stadium and then slid into the dog pokemon.

Agrona was hit by the penguin and staggered back. Her legs then buckled on her and she collapsed. Doyle recalled her and looked at Mary. "Nice battle." He simply said before leaving.
