A merciless sun blazed above the sand as Solange stalked to her designated spot. She’d already set up a couple chairs, towels, a cooler, and two umbrellas, all for the meeting that was about to take place. Or would it count for a double date? She wasn’t for sure, considering that there would be two couples out of the four teens gathering here today. Solange just hoped things went smoothly. She knew Cam was one of Urban’s friends, and that the other was his…boyfriend? Fiancee? Solange shook her head; details like that would only trip her up. All she knew was that Cam was important to Urban, and she needed to try her best not to be a jackass.
Solange put the back of her hand across her forehead and looked out over the ocean. Her snow white hair was pinned onto her head with a clip, and large red sunglasses obscured her eyes. When the heat became too annoying for the fire type, she shimmied out of her clothes, revealing a skeletal bikini. After getting a good look around to see if anyone had showed up yet, and thus being disappointed to see that they hadn’t, Solange stretched out on her stomach on a towel, arms folded underneath her head for a sweet nap.

Urban had taken the time to arrange a babysitter for the kids...well some time. Mostly he'd picked up Jayme and hauled him to his place with the kids so he could watch them there. There was no way he wanted Jayme anywhere near that playboy Dream who could ******** him up even worse emotionally and mentally than he already was. Nope, safer at his place.
He'd dropped them all off telling Tris and Tania to listen to Jayme he was in charge and if Jayme had to call him because they were misbehaving they were in deep trouble. That done he'd headed off to the beach where he met up with Cam and Timmy just getting out of Cameron's car.
Cam pointed to the surfboards he had and Urban laughed and began pulling them down noticing there was enough for all of them, excellent. Maybe they could teach Sol how to surf if she didn't know how already. With Urban carrying those, Cam snagged some of their stuff, and handed a bag of towels and sunscreen to Timmy then snagged the bag Urban had in his car before locking everything up on both.
"Alright lets go find my woman." Urban led the way cutting through the fairly thin beach crowed easily and Cameron followed behind at his own pace. It wasn't hard to see when he stopped having apparently found Solange. The boards were all wedged into the sand and he stood there blocking her sun.
"Hey sexy, the guys are on the way." He stretched and peeled his tank top off and dropped it on the sand next to Sol and waited for Cam to get there snagging his bag and laying the towel out he'd brought. "Sol, this is Cameron and his fiance Timmy, guys, this is Solange my woman." Urban grinned as he phrased it that way.
Cameron leaned around Urban to look at Sol. "You must have a hell of a lot of patience to deal with him. Nice to meet you Solange, you can call me Cam."
He turned to Timmy and helped him set their things down, and began to lay out towels as well for them then pulled out the subblock. "C'mere, lets get you coated, then you can do me." "Right here on the beach? You've gotten daring in your old age Cam!" Urban laughed as Cam rolled his eyes and chuckled the lid of the sunblock at his friend. "There's a second bottle in the bag if you guys want any." Urban snagged it and plopped down on his towel and waited to find out if Sol wanted any.

Poor Jayme, left with two hyperactive pokemon. Tristan had been sure, upon hearing Urban's lecture, that painting Jayme wouldn't be considered misbehaving. And if he hid the phone, it would be even better! If Jayme couldn't call Urban, they wouldn't get into deep trouble! And if they didn't get into deep trouble, Papa would read to them when he got home.
At least Tristan was better behaved than Tania. If Jayme asked him--nicely, to stop, he would. Tania, however... Well. That was another story.

"A double date?" Timmy had been immediately curious. He'd never been on a double date before. He'd never been on a date that had included anyone else--except maybe the waiter, but they didn't stick around very long. "Is this what you call a double date?" he asked, wide eyed. What was a double date, anyway? Did it mean a date twice as long as a regular one? Or did it mean that they were going to be doing twice as much as they normally did?
Or did it simply mean that they would be sharing the date with Urban and his girlfriend? He pondered this as he helped Cam with the bag of towels and sunscreen. "Oh, you're Solange," he greeted the houndoom as they approached. "Hi," this was awkward. He'd heard Urban call her 'hot' once, and had guessed she was a fire pokemon. "I'm Timmy, nice to meet you."
When Cam turned to him and started setting stuff down, the skitty boy followed suit. "I still don't know how you burn," he teased, "with skin like yours. You'd be fine if you were shocked, but the sun--" he sat down on his towel obediently, craning his neck backwards so he could grin up at Cam. "Don't worry," he teased, "I'd never do that in public."

Somewhere down the peace someone was pumping rap music from their cheap stereo and it wouldn't let Solange sleep. She burrowed her face into the beach towel until it faded into nothing...and by then it was too late. Rolling onto one hip, Solange turned her face where the sun should be, and found Urban instead. She just grinned, taking in the view. "Hey baby."
By the time the guys had made it down she had sat up, wiping sand off her stomach and thighs. Well, that was until Urban started to speak, at which time she had to go in for a jab at his ribs. She looked at Cameron and chuckled, "Patience isn't something I've got a lot of, Cam. I'm just up for a challenge. It's nice to meet you both, and please, call me Sol." She...really didn't know what to say to Timmy that didn't sound rude. You know me, but I don't know you? Nah, best not to say it, especially when he seemed like a cool kid.
"Okay, guys, time out. TMI." Solange chuckled and held her hands out in an "x". She snatched the sunblock out of Urban's hands and after putting a liberal amount onto her hands, she scootched over to massage it onto his skin.

Jayme was well prepared to babysit the two thanks to Urban warning him ahead of time that the kids might be a little rambunctious. The hesitancy in his phrasing made Jayme chuckle lightly and he put on a rather old dress. In case. It seemed safer that way. Seeing as the baby sitting was happening in Urban's apartment, well he wasn't going to be too worried. He knew his way around. ~~ "Yeah a double date. It's when two couples, in this case you and I, and Urban and his girlfriend, all go out together as a group." he ruffled Timmy's hair gently. He sometimes forgot how much he didn't yet know. It was hard to remember sometimes. "Better safe than sorry." Cam chuckled and knelt behind Timmy to rub the sunblock in on him chuckling at Sol's words. "Well he can be a hell of a handful, if you need help kicking his a** let me know." he winked at her in a teasing conspiratorial manner and Urban rolled his eyes. "My best friend and girlfriend plotting against me, I see how it is." he laughed though. There was a few snickers from them as Urban settled enjoying the feel of Sol's hands rubbing the sunblock in. "Mmm that feels good babe." he leaned in and kissed her cheek. "Jayme says hello and told us to have fun by the way."

"Almost as much of one as you are," Timmy chimed in, craning his neck to peer up at Cam. "Actually..." the skitty teen paused, putting a hand to his chin in mock thought. "I don't believe Urban could be as much of a handful as you are." Urban certainly did show up to help often enough, when Cam was being stupid. Or when Timmy needed someone to vent at. Yes, Sol was almost as lucky as he was.
He leaned himself against Cam and grinned. "Hurry, would you?" he said. "Waves are calling my name." Would they have time to build a sandcastle? And hunt for shells? "Maybe we could have dinner here," he suggested. "Catch a few crabs?" Fish sounded good. He hoped Cam at least, would share that craving.

"How could you not have seen it coming?" She smirked at Urban, making sure to give the biggest, obvious wink to Cam that she could manage. "It's like a staple; we're either going to argue, or gang up against you." Solange leaned against him and gave the Aggron a playful n** on the ear when he kissed her cheek.
Solange's calloused hands massaged into his shoulders, slipping down with the tips of her nails to his lower back. When she was satisfied that her man wouldn't burn, she sat back.
"Crabs? You can cook those straight on the beach?" Solange clucked her tongue, impressed with the idea. "Why don't you guys go ahead and jump in, and I'll go hunting for the little shits." Waves? Oh no, no no. She didn't do water; Solange barely tolerated showers and baths, let alone voluntarily submerging herself in an ocean.

"I think I prefer the two of you ganging up on me, to fighting with one another. I wouldn't know who to cheer on..." he smirked a little, a rumble of pleasure given as his ear was nipped. Cam gave a laugh and finished working the sun block into Timmy's skin before he stole a kiss from him. "Yes, yes. Surfing...be careful this time though please." a wry smile given. "I keep a pot in my trunk, so we'd just need to fill it with some water to cook them in if you can find them Solange. I have some collapsible fishing rods in there too. No live bait...but I have lures regardless. We might be able to catch something in awhile." Urban shifted and kissed Sol, nipping at her lips. "You go hunt crabs and I'm going to go kick their asses out on the waves." "Hah! I'm the one that taught you to surf Urban. You're going dooooown." Cam smirked and got to his feet tugging Timmy up too.
