Natintrapa hadn't gotten out much since they first stepped foot in this snowy paradise. Her fear was it was never going to last. It had been a while, and they had finally settled down and everything seemed to moving rather smoothly. She decided it was time to put aside her fears, and try to get to know those in the pride. It was still small, so was easy to get to know everyone. She liked knowing everyone, though knew that eventually she would be unable to spend time with everyone once the pride was big and strong.

Today was a lovely day, the snow glittered on the ground with the sun's touch. It was fairly warm considering it was summer. Or rather, warmer than it normally was. Summer festivals were to start, she knew that well. The cubs would come out playing in the snow, and the birds would sing, and more hares would pop up to visit. Some had already chosen their lion companion and had stayed during the first winter. That was something that told Natintrapa that things were there to stay.

She stepped out of the cave and made her way, slowly, around the main pride area. She could see many lions out and about, enjoying the sun. All seemed preoccupied and busy with others. She decided not to bug them and kept moving.

It had been a bit of a challenge being a mother. She wasn't quite ready for it at first, but she had grown so much. Today was Gunju's day to play with them and keep them busy until it was time to eat. Ahhh, she could relax without any issues. It was a blessing. Though, now that she was out of the caves, she was starting to miss her little babies. She never thought she would, and thought that she'd be able to enjoy this moment to herself, but it was alot different than she expected.

Rashida almost wanted to get up and go back into where the cubs were. No, she couldn't do that. Gunju would think she didn't think he was good enough father, she couldn't have that on her mind and his. She sighed and started to move about in the sun. How could such a good day become very depressing? With that, she noticed the queen walking around by herself. It was a chance to put a good name to her and Gunju. Perhaps even become good friends with them.

"Queen Natintrapa?!"

Natintrapa turned her head towards.... what was her name? The golden lioness with hints of brown here and there. She was the one with the cubs. The only one with cubs for the moment. It was great to see families popping up here and there. "Oh please! Call me Natina." She said with a smile. "No need for formalities!" As much as she loved being queen and beside Urza, she hated that title. At least, until it was needed of course. Casual conversations never needed queen in it.

"How many I help you, my dear?" She asked with a sweet smile. "I don't think we've formally met!" Urza did most of the meet and greet. She just stood and smiled and looked pretty. At least for the start. She was starting to get more into her role. Sometimes it was just easier to let Urza do it. Though, it was time she stepped up and became who she needed to be, not who she thought she was.

Rashima smiled. "Sorry your grac....." she paused a second. "Sorry, Natina." She tried to catch herself, but sometimes it was hard. She didn't want to be disrespectful, but she said not to do it. "I'm Rashida." She said with an incline of the head. "I was just seeing if you wanted some company" Natina stuck out well when she was out of the caves and away from the mountain, but when she was near them it was hard to see her.

Rashida was glad she spotted her where she did. "Unless you rather not have any." She swished her tail as she stood next to the lioness. The worse that could be said was no, and then they could go about their own business. Though, Rashida didn't like to be rejected.

Natintrapa smiled happily. "Yes! Yes, I could use the company." Thank god she wasn't going to walk around alone. She wanted to look like she fit and was equal as everyone else was. Sure she had different tasks than they did, but doesn't make her any more or less important. Nothing could go more smoothly today, in her opinion. She flicked her tail and started to walk more, knowing that the young lioness would follow her.

Natintrapa was quite a bit older than some of the lions and lionesses in the pride. "So, you've got a family." She started "Right, Rashima?" Small talk was hard to start sometimes. She wasn't ever sure where to start. "I remember having cubs that young, in fact, I miss it so." She giggled. Only one of her's and Urza's kids were in the pride with them. The other's had decided to make their own way in life.

She followed her queen with every step, right next to her as she went. "Oh yes." She said with a proud nod. "1 girl and 4 boys" She said. She almost felt bad that Lisimba hadn't a sister. She seemed to handle it rather well, however. "Lisimba, Akiiki, Chisisi, Rabiah, and Teremun." She said finally. She loved them more than the world, and she was quite proud to share them with her. "Gunju is their father."

Rashida pointed him out when she saw him with the cubs in the distance. They seemed to enjoy the sunny day. "Today's his day to take care of them." She giggled as she looked back at the lioness beside her. It was different, talking to someone about her kids. Again, something she thought she'd never do. She always got annoyed with the families that did that, but now she understood.

She nodded at the other as she spoke. It was interesting to hear about another's family for once. She chuckled. "Oh my! Such a big family." She said. They made their way around the main pride area as she watched about the other lions, and talked to Rashida as they went. She was keeping an eye on her pride while Urza was off doing other things on the outskirts of the pride.

They were going in one big circle, talking about everything and anything that came to mind, as they finally reached where they had started, Natintrapa turned towards Rashida. "It was Splendid speaking with you, but I must get back to my tasks. Perhaps we can do this again."

Rashida enjoyed their talk, and it seemed to have lasted hours before she realized they were back where they started. In all reality, it had only been about 30 minutes, but it wasn't really what mattered. "Of course." She gave a bow to the lioness. "Perhaps we could even do it tomorrow and share more stories." She said with a giggle and went her own way.

It had gone from her kids, to Natintrapa's kids, then to how they, themselves grew up. It was all exciting, and sad for some tales, but that was what made them who they are, and what brought them where they where today. It was good to talk to someone, for once. Rashida had a lot of growing up to do, and this was the first step. She always was so mean, and now she was starting to change that way. This pride was her fresh start.
