This is a poem that I have written a year ago. Please enjoy.
Streams of milk white pearls flow down her cheeks as she wakes up in the empty bed
She believed him, even though she knew not to
Words he uttered of love and cherishing memories
Now make her sick to hear in her very mind
These streams of milk white pearls flow down her cheeks as she asks
Why must I feel so alone?
Streams of pale sapphire pearls roll down her cheeks as she wakes up on the floor
He promises to not be angry with her again
And yet his temper flared wildly at her
She can’t seem to leave him for her safety
These streams of pale sapphire pearls roll down her cheeks as she asks
Why must I feel so alone?
Streams of hot pink pearls fall down her cheeks as she wakes up in the hotel room
The moment she saw him with her
Sickens her, even calling out for revenge
Her anger carries a very short fuse to her heart
These streams of hot pink pearls fall down her cheeks as she asks
Why must I feel so alone?
These streams of pearls glide down their cheeks
Pain and suffering is just the beginning into their destined futures
Only time can tell the story of these betrayed women.
These streams of pearls glide down their cheeks as they ask
Why must I feel so alone?
