The bone city was once the beautiful but macabre city of the forgotten Guild, Delorius'tatem, the Conclave of Declasia. However, since its collapse in 1382, when it was denounced that several factors of the Jewel War were narrowed down to members of the dark guild, the Bone City was left empty.
These days, since around 1550 it's been known that corrupt magi and other malevolent forces have taken Bornhieniculate as their own great city within Occulas. Although it is far out and away from the other cities, a watchful gaze from the High Court is always staring at the Bone City. Bornhieniculate is notorious for now giving home to warlocks and witches from the Underworld, too. The forces here have not been agressive in some time, knowing better than to undermine the power of the Guildeam.
