Powers & Abilities: He is essentially a mutant with the main power of what he calls misdirection. He is able to cast realistic and believable illusions, even on the strongest of minds. He is symbiotically linked to E.V.A., a techno-organic flying vehicle. He also has augmented strength, speed, agility, reflexes and reactions, coordination, balance, and endurance. Fantomex can go into a hypnotic/meditative state and which heals most injuries. He is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant and marksman and a master of stealth techniques. He also wears a psychic-blocking ceramic mask that blocks any telepaths from reading his mind.

History: Fantomex was born from a mother who was fertilized by nanomachines giving him a technorganic body. This was done by the Weapon Plus program to create super-sentinels to wipe out the mutant population. The program created a place called the World where Fantomex was raised and trained. While Fantomex was being transported for purposes only know by the Weapon Plus program, an accident occurred that allowed him to escape. He now free roams, generally stealing from bad people that mean harm to his fellow mutants, but also for personal gain.
