- Username: Kasai Kakiri - Character Name: Tomoyo Samurakami - Pronunciation of the Name: to-mo-yo | sã-mur-ra-ka-mi - Character Squad: 2 - Character Rank: Captain - Affiliation: Sereitei/Soul Society - Sexuality Bisexual - Character PersonalityFor the most part, Tomoyo is a very cold and concise person. She is considered by most rather unemotional and disconnected from others. She does not like hanging out with people and he will rarely doing things for people unless ordered. However beyond all of this Tomoyo is a very calm, caring and warm person and if you are in desperate need of help she is willing to help. This shines through her ice box very seldom though. Tomoyo has devoted her life to combat and understands and respects that, however she can not stand for innocent lives to be caught in the fray. She feels as though people should be able to do with their lives what they want and if someone kills an innocent they are taking that right away. Tomoyo is firm believer in following the law and as such will uphold the law of the Gotei 13 above most anything. The only law more important is the law of the 2nd Division which she places above anything else. Tomoyo on missions only cares about the objective and if people get in the way she has no qualms about cutting them down, and because of this she prefers to perform missions alone. This way if people are harmed she won't have to deal with the burden. - Character Likes: Iced Coffee, People who stand up for themselves and others, Board games, Singing to herself - Character Dislikes: Cowards, Being weak, the fact that she cannot attain perfection - Character Age:
[Human Age] 16
[Shinigami Age] 324
- Character Birthday: September 13th - Character Zodiac Sign: Virgo - Character Blood Type: AB
- Bio: Tomoyo was born, into a nice, Japanese family. Her father had a job and her mother was home with her for all of her infancy and early childhood. While she didn't know this, being the blissfully ignorant youth that she was, her father was quite under-appreciated at his work and her mother hadn't finished high school, and as such couldn't get a good job. But she didn't know this. And her parents cared about her, which was all that mattered to a child of her youth. With a family that cared for her, it didn't even register in her young mind that there might have been some sort of trouble within her family, turmoil brewing and tensions rising. None of that mattered. Throughout her early years, Tomoyo was happy and brilliant. The teachers knew she was brilliant, the other students knew she was brilliant. On top of that, she was good at sports, and quite pretty. At this age, Tomoyo was the kid everyone wanted to be, to say the least. A happy family, a pretty face, a brilliant mind, a strong body, boys adored her and girls envied her. Even as an elementary school child. At age 9, her father was offered a job overseas, in America. Since it was a much better paying job than his current employment, her parents packed up and moved without even consulting young Tomoyo. Thus, she was uprooted from her life and launched into a totally new one.
In America, Tomoyo adopted the American name "Tammy". Learning English and doing well in school wasn't a problem for Tammy, after all she had always done so well in her studies back in Japan, she had the highest scores in her English class. Here, though she could do well in her studies, Tammy could not fit in as she had overseas. For the rest of Elementary and Middle School, Tammy was alone. Of course, she got As and exceeded in her school work, but she was still unable to fit in. Every now and again, the "Asian" crowd would try to talk with her, but every time Tammy only found that she was awkward and different from all the rest. And so she was alone. Neither of her parents knew about any of this; her mother had found fulltime employment, though the work was poor, and her father found that even though he was earning more money, he was working so much that he hardly ever had time with his family. Tammy spent long nights, home alone, waiting for her parents who would never show up. TV dinners became her best friend, at this age. But in March of her 8th Grade year, her life changed drastically.
One day, her mother did not come home. Neither Tammy nor her father thought anything of it; she was probably just working late again. They didn't find out that she had died in a car accident on her way home from work. The funeral was silent, and afterwards was still silent. Tammy and her father built a shrine to honor their mother, but with their busy new American schedules, only Tammy could find the time to pray every day. Her father found other ways to cope with his grief; he began to drink. From there, Tammy's 8th Grade year became the traditional "mother dies story": her father beat her, raped her, swore at her, the works. That is, when he was home. He only was home once, if even that, a week. Now, Tammy welcomed the silence. Of course, this all sounds like one of those crappy stories that you have to read in 7th grade, like "Out of the Dust" (at least I didn't have her accidentally pour burning kerosene on her mom, right?), so just a disclaimer that the rest of her life IS NOT just "pity me, pity me, my life is terrible". In fact, the start of high school changed her life, for the better.
With high school, Tammy discovered all the various clubs and activities that were available to students. No longer would she spend long, lonely nights at her house, but rather she could travel from club to club until she found a group to fit in with. First was the anime club, but Tammy soon discovered that they were all weebos who die their hair pink. Next was the FCA (she was mildly religious and an athlete)... Nothing really to say there. Then, she tried the karate club. Of course, once again it was full of weebos, and they were all weaklings, but Tammy quickly discovered her love for fighting. Boxing club, kendo club, wrestling club, Tammy dominated all of these. While the girls thought she was weird for participating in all those manly sports, she quickly began to fit in with the guys. For the first time since moving to America, Tammy had a group of friends; and she had beaten every single one of them in any of her various activities. Of course, she soon began to receive invitations to any number of parties and activities, after all many of the boys whom she had proved that she was stronger than were quite popular. Starting then, Tammy's life took a turn for the better.
Of course, her dad was still pretty shitty at home. But honestly, that didn't matter to Tammy now that she had found a place to fit in. A pity that she was killed by him in a drunken rage on the night of April 2nd, halfway through her Sophomore year, without even getting to say goodbye to any of her friends.
Needless to say, as a spirit Tammy was bound to her high school. Day in and day out, she would watch her friends come and go from school. Of course, they all remembered her and they all missed her. But she could not here them, and all she saw were her friends, moving on with their lives. Honestly, she had no idea how long she spent as a spirit, how long she watched her friends come and go. Well, that's not necessarily true. While she could not keep track of time as a spirit, she watched them go through the next few years of high school, and she watched every one of her friends graduate; she watched them all achieve what she would never be able to achieve. She became cold and uncaring, blaming her father, who was sentenced to death by electric chair, for her not being with her friends. But in a way, it's funny that she didn't become a hollow at any point during all of this; her spiritual power must have been strong enough that she was able to resist, if only for a few years. After all of her friends had graduated, the chains that bound her to her school broke; it turned out that her only regret was that she wasn't able to finish school with them, that she wasn't able to stand by their side as they graduated. A Shinigami came along and she was sent to Soul Society, with no recollection of any of her life.
As said, in Soul Society Tomoyo had no recollection of her human life. Once again, she was Samurakami Tomoyo, and she lived with only faint memories, such as her American name, her love for fighting, the reasoning why she had such a cold heart. In the Rukongai district, Tomoyo began to fight. Pretty much right away, she picked up a sword, pulled her hair back, and fought against all of the strongest men of the districts. Tomoyo wore men's clothes, and quite honestly the vast majority of people she defeated didn't even know whether she was a man or a woman. But a few did, and among them was a young, cocky Shinigami of the 2nd Division. Of course, he complimented her skill, especially considering that she was a woman (to which he received a sharp blow to the head from the blunt edge of her sword), and he recommended that she become a Shinigami and join the 2nd Division. This idea interested Tomoyo, and so she decided that she may as well become a Shinigami, as she had already defeated all the strongest warriors of Rukongai. Not 24 hours later, Tomoyo passed the entrance exam and was now a student at the Soul Reaper Academy.
Back to awkward school life? Nope. This time around, Tomoyo was fully prepared for what school life would offer. Already, Tomoyo was extremely skilled at swordmanship and excelled in her Zanjutsu classes. Hakuda was another skill which was easy for Tomoyo to pick up, after all in the human world she hadn't just unsheathed a sword whenever she got into a fight with someone. Hoho was a bit more difficult, but Tomoyo was athletic enough that she picked up on the skill pretty quickly. And then there was kido. Tomoyo's kido skills were... Dangerous(?) but not in a good way. After her second kido lesson, the teacher decided that she was so extremely unskilled that maybe it would be wisest for her to drop the course and continue through the academy without any knowledge of kido. Of course, this was not allowed, especially since this was more for the instructor's sake than for Tomoyo's (after all, the instructor was just about to grow his eyebrows back when he made the special request). Tomoyo, of course, didn't mind her lack of skill in this area, after all she exceeded in all other areas and felt that there would be no harm in being a little less skilled in one respect.
Of course, this meant that pretty soon, Tomoyo began to get bored in the academy. Since she was not even bothering with kido, and she was so powerful in all the other areas, she had absolutely nothing to do. Initially, she tried to graduate early only to discover that with her lack of proficiency in kido she was no eligible. Annoyed and frustrated, Tomoyo decided that she would just live out the next few years of her life extremely bored. Of course, then she discovered the different phases of Zanpakuto. In her sleep one night, her Zanpakuto spirit visited her. He told her his name, and then Tomoyo woke up with a named Zanpakuto. It may sound cheesy, but this was how Tomoyo obtained Shikai. Her year of boredom was spent training her Shikai, until it was all but mastered. The next year, with Shikai already mastered, Tomoyo was once again bored. But now she could graduate, and she went straight on to the 2nd Division with a slight smirk about her face...
Fifty years have passed since Tomoyo had become the Squad 2 Captain and alot has happened in that time. The Rogues of Time were destroyed and life had become a bit more peaceful so to say, with a few knicks in it like the appearance of a few certain Hollow. But she was satisfied with how things were turning out. She was developing a new technique and she was starting to open up to a few people life was good. But there's no telling how long this peace will last....

- Character Skin Color/Ethnicity: Non White/Asian - Character Height: 5 feet 4 inches - Character Hair Color: Tomoyo's hair color is quite strange. In the morning/afternoon her hair color is a black with a turquoise hue to it and at night it switches to a black and purple combination with it mostly being black. Timeskip Tomoyo's hair has become fixed in a jet black color. - Character Hair Length/ Style Tomoyo's hair length is quite short, almost reaching her shoulders, a few strands may touch but not many. It is worn as a typical short haired female would wear it, down. Timeskip Tomoyo's hair length has been cut a bit shorter than it was. - Character Eye Color: Tomoyo's eye color is that of violet that appears more intense with the adjustment of lighting. Timeskip Tomoyo's eye color has changed drastically in the past 50 years with her eye color being that of blood red. She doesn't know how this happened to her but she can quite guess why it has come to be, although she will not disclose it to anyone, not even Central 46... - Character Description: Tomoyo is very small in stature with muscles about as well defined as a woman that takes care of herself, works out, and watches what she eats. She may not have alot of muscle but it is there. Her breast size fits a 30b sized bra and she absolutely despises them. For an absurd reason she does not like them or anyone who talks about them. You've been forewarned. - Character Attire: Primary: [ x ] Secondary: [ x ] Tertiary: [ x ] Quaternary: [ x ] Timeskip: [ x ] This particular above has been specially formulated by Squad 12 for her due to her Hakuda technique destroying her clothing. She needed something that would not be lost due to the oscillating of her reishi particles and would give her ease of movement. It is skin tight and she doesn't like it all too much but it feels as if she is in fact wearing no clothes. - Character Tattoos/Markings/Scars: A scar in the shape of an "X" that runs the length of her torso.

- Zanpakutō Name: Munehekomi - Zanpakutō Spirit Appearance: [ x ] - Zanpakutō Sealed Form: Normal Katana with a purple cloth wrapped around the hilt
- Shikai Status: Mastered - Zanpakutō Shikai Activation Statement: "Break free from your frozen throne and plague this world with the stillness of death. Exhale, Munehekomi." - Zanpakutō Shikai Name: Munehekomi - Zanpakutō Shikai Appearance [ x ] - Battlefield Changes: The only noticeable battlefield change would be that the surrounding area has a chill that will raise the hair from the neck. - Zanpakutō Shikai Abilities Upon touching an enemy she can chill flesh right to the bone, through clothing, infecting them with a disease that directly effects muscles and bones making the former tense up reducing mobility and the latter more brittle being more prone to breakage. The more times Tomoyo touches her target, the slower the muscles react and the more brittle the bones become. - Achieved? Yes
- Zanpakutō Bankai Name: Shinzua Munehekomi - Zanpakutō Bankai Appearance: Tomoyo is now clad in the Armaments of the Lich King. Those Armaments in fact pump the Essence of Madness through her veins. No longer is she a defensive fighter any longer but a killing machine driven to the point of insanity. That insanity essentially makes her physically stronger. The soft yielding skin that she once sported hardens and grows pale, resembling that of alabaster. Her hair lengthens and becomes completely black like the hole of Garganta. The new skin is slightly tougher than previous flesh. Her body also becomes cold and her eyes also glow a faint pale blue color. - Bankai Battlefield Changes: Tomoyo's reiatsu is unleashed and the once apparent chill that was once there, has now turned into a fully formed blizzard in which visibility is greatly reduced, temperature drops drastically, and a piercing wind that cuts straight through clothing. - Zanpakutō Bankai Abilities While in Bankai, Tomoyo's Zanpakuto is the embodiment of all of the world's diseases. These diseases all bond together, strangely and solidify into the steel of the blade in which she wields. With each successful strike that pierces the dermis of a living target, a disease is spread. Each strike after the initial one spreads a new disease, each stacking with the last. - Zanpakutō Bankai Time Able to Hold: Unlimited - Achieved? Yes

Kido
- Bakudō: 1-81 - Hadō: 1-88 - Healing spells: 0
Other
- Hand-to-hand combat: (Hakuda) [Master] Despite her small stature, Tomoyo is extraordinarily physically powerful that is sure to surprise even the strongest of combatants. She uses her brute strength to her advantage very well. She is also a defensive fighter taking counter-measures for every move made by an opponent. Timeskip Her Hakuda is so advanced, she took Shunko that was developed by Shinigami thousands of years ago and manipulated it to created her own style naming it Sensō Ippan ni Bōkō. It's style that manipulates reishi particles to surround the user. The particles are reminiscent of Shunko but to a much more subtle degree and instead of being emitted, the particles are condensed and lie on the outer layers of skin. These particles oscillate very rapidly, shredding apart all yielding material such as skin or clothing. This ultimately turns the body into a tool for assassination. She is trying to find a way to make this a standard of those Officer Rank and above but cannot find a way yet to control it enough. This style has not actually been tested in combat and she doesn't know how they would effect her for a sustained period of time. She is the test dummy...
- Agility: (Hohō) [Expert] Although Tomoyo is extremely small, she tends not to be able to use her stature to an agile advantage. She's known to be quite clumsy at times. To make up for her lack of agility, she has near impenetrable defensive capabilities.
- Swordsmanship: (Zanjutsu) This was touched upon previously but Tomoyo is extremely well versed in the art of Zanjutsu. She is revered and very well respected by her fellow colleagues and subordinates for being known as a Fortress. She tactfully uses her sheath as a means of defense which is extremely unorthodox. Timeskip A trip back to the Human world and Tomoyo discovered something else to add to her arsenal of weapons. But not only that, she developed it into a viable Zanjutsu style, that she most certainly will not teach anyone. This is hers and hers alone. "Breaking" or "breakdancing" was the blueprint for her newly ostensibly developed fighting style much to others chagrin, and the rest is an "on the fly" type. It is highly unorthodox and destructively unpredictable. Coupled with her ability to continue using her sheath as a defensive mechanism and masterful swordplay, this makes Tomoyo a very dangerous adversary.
- Spiritual Power: (Reiryoku) [Immense]
- Flash Step: (Shunpo) [Master]
