Sighing, Uller found himself waking up.

Wait, when did he go to sleep? His brows knit at that thought as he brought a dark blue hand to rub at his face. He shifted his hips a little, finding something on him that was actually quite heavy. Frowning a bit, he finally opened his black eyes and looked down. Oh. Well, then, he remembered laying down with Etzer, the boil who was currently settled on him. What was different though, is that he actually remembered being on Etzer and not this other way around. Sighing slowly again, he wondered how their positions flipped and just tried to wake up all at te same time. For some reason it felt like his brain was telling him to go back to sleep.

"Mn..." Was the only noise he could make, apparently. Fun, now he was a zombie.

Etzer grunted in reply, shifting just slightly so that his mussy braid ended up over Uller's face. It was apparant he was still sleeping heavily, because he didn't even twitch. Just shifted, and stretched out to almost his full length.

Cute.

When a braid suddenly was in his face, Uller snorted and pushed it out before tugging gently. Sighing slowly, he wrapped his arms around the boil, who was now stretched out completely and nosed into his hair. So having the boil on him wasn't a bad thing. It meant he could cuddle and get the contact he wanted. At least he could stop Etzer from working this way.

"Nice grunt," he murmured, voice thick from sleep.

"Mmhmmm, n'really bad eggs..." Came the mutter. "Drink up, yo ho..." His fingers skittered across Uller's form, grasping the fabric as he finally opened his eyes and sat up, failing at stifling a huge yawn.

"Mmmmmorning?"

Uller stared down at him while he woke up, confusion on his face. His lips were pulled into a thin line, trying to not smile and understand what the Jack Ezter was talking about. Rule one, apparently, never talk to Etzer when he's not fully awake. He talks pirate.

When those eyes opened, Uller leaned in and kissed him lightly before pulling back. "....You talk like a pirate."

"... n' you know a lot of pirates, then." Closing an eye, Etzer yawned again and stretched, leaning back almost off the bed.

Shrugging lightly, he shifted to stroke over Etzer's hair a little, thumbing his ear. "I used to play a lot of video games with... a girl I had a huge crush on. She left about a year ago and the last I heard from her was on Scaretines."

Etzer smiled sadly, hunching down as he stopped stretching, a sad smile playing on his lips. "Ah. I'm sorry to hear that." His eyes shifted to the dress he'd nearly finished. "Do you... miss her?"

"At times," he spoke honestly. Frowning a little more, he wrapped his arms around Etzer's waist to attempt to keep him from getting up. "But as a friend. She was a good friend.. Helped me build my scaretop."

"Scaretop?" Etzer frowned as he glanced to Uller out of the corner of his eyes. He didn't return the hug. Was he a little jealous? Possibly...

"Mm... Yes, scaretop.. You know the portable computers?" He tilted his head, letting his brows knit as Etzer seemed to get jealous. His ears flicked a little this way and that before sitting up fully. "What's wrong?"

"Ah. Those. I haven't had one of those in years." Etzer smirked slightly, though didn't answer Uller's question. Let him figure it out. He shouldn't have mentioned that he'd had a former girlfriend. Didn't he know that Uller was his first...?

"Hmph." He finally admitted. "Maybe I should go date other creeple first." Etzer crossed his arms, completely put out. He was more than a little jealous.

She wasn't a ghoulfriend, exactly, just someone he had a crush on. The feelings weren't returned, on Tahki's part. Or if they were they never discussed it.

However, he wasn't going to say anything. He pulled away from Etzer like he'd just been burned and let his brows knit. So he was second guessing this. Looking to the side, he spoke softly. "... If you want, I can't stop you." Just don't expect Uller to be aroud if things don't work out. It hurt like a slap on the face.

Etzer's fingers dug into his arm as he severely misjudged the situation. "I feel like a replacement, Uller. Is that the case?" His jaw clenched together as he refused to look at his boilfriend, mouth set in a stern line.

"No." His brows knitted tightly at that and he just looked over to the side. He couldn't look at Etzer right now. His voice was clipped and completely serious. It took him a moment, but he looked over at the boil with a glare. "I've been over her since before Scaretines. She's a friend. Or she was. I haven't heard from her in months and I don't think she's coming back. I've accepted it."

"Hmph." Etzer wasn't so sure, and grimaced through the whole thing.

"You know what, don't believe me." His voice was angry and he stood up completely. "I don't lie. I don't see the point in wasting energy to do it." All the boil could do was snort in anger as he stormed toward the door. "You were the first one I kissed, the first one.. I've.. even slept in the same bed with."

"You were for me too. I thought... you weren't." Etzer muttered, staring at the bed. Yeah, he'd probably Jacked that up a good bit, but he was too proud to apologize for that at the moment.

Looking over to Etzer at that, he sighed and rolled his eyes. "Well, now that we have that out of the way, I guess I'll stay." His voice spoke volumes of proudness, not wanting to apologize right now, either. They both had egos, it would seem. "....I want you to take a break from that," he said, motioning to the prom dress. "...Because we clearly have some talking to do."

"Fine. Then let's talk." Etzer stared at the wall, anger furrowed into his face as he slowly blinked. "So talk."

"... I'm a virgin in nearly ever sense of the word. Aside from those kisses... I haven't done anything with anyone." He was looking right at Etzer now, his face trying to remain neutral. "..... Boil or Ghoul."

"I haven't either." Etzer refused to look at his face, he was that proud. "You're the first boil that I've been with. But... I'm not sure about us." Thinking about it in his mind, Etzer frowned. He knew his father wouldn't approve, wanting a proper demon to be his mate. He wasn't sure if Uller would take that news well, so he said nothing at all.

The frost demon had no idea where this relationship would end up, though. He'd go to prom with him, yes, but Etzer had a lot of doubt in his mind. Should he play the demon's advocate? Probably not, but the demon in him was weighing every option he could possibly take.

"... I like you." He stated simply, sighing heavily. "I want there to be an us. To be a couple." He didn't pull his eyes off of Etzer, wanting to show the other how honest he was. He shifted on the bed a little and just watched the demon. "...You're the first boil I've been attracted to, and.. I like it. I know I've been..." He cringed at the word, hating to say it, "needy, but.. this is new. If you have problems with me, let me know."

He wasn't going to lie, this hurt him a lot, but what else could he do? Etzer sounded like he wanted to check out on this chapter. Just lead to another bout of depression and wondering why he even bothered trying.

"I don't have problems with you." Pinching the bridge of his nose, Etzer sighed, finally deciding to say it. "My father might. He wants me to have a proper demon mate. I would like us to work out, but... I'm not sure that it's going to. My family is knee deep in politics. I like you, and I don't mind you being needy. But whatever my father says... goes."

He winced at that and looked to the side. Right. Controlled by a father. "...If you want to back out, to just... forget about me, then whatever." His voice was trying not to crack as he said it. "...You don't want to disappoint daddy."

Okay, that came out a bit more sarcastic than he wanted it, but he wasn't taking it back. His dad was more open about things than Etzer's, it seemed. His long ears pinned back against his head and he couldn't look at the boil. He didn't even want to be in the same room anymore. "But if you want us to work, you'd fight."

"There's only so many things I can fight on. If it comes up, then I might. But it's mostly tact." He sighed and fell onto his back on the bed, staring at the ceiling. He couldn't expect Uller to understand, as it sounded like he didn't know much about politics to begin with. "It's... not that simple."

"So what? You're going to let someone else run your life because Daddy has some influence? Going to be someone's puppet the rest of your life?" He just shook his head with a growl. "Nevermind, don't answer it. Sighing slowly, Uller pushed a hand through his white hair, working a few tangles out. "So what's going to happen to us?"

"It's not that simple," Etzer growled, sitting up and glaring at Uller now. He huffed as soon as Uller dropped it, rolling his eyes. "I'm still going to prom with you. That is, if you want to." This whole thing was getting complicated.

He felt like it didn't matter what he wanted anymore. Shrugging, Uller just stood there for a minute before nodding. "...I guess I do." This wasn't supposed to go this way. He had other plans for Etzer, plans that were all up in the air now. His shoulders just went lax as he thought about it. ".... I don't want to be a thing for you. Just ...a fling. I guess I can't really do anything about it though, can I?"

Putting his arm over his face, Etzer fell back on the bed and grunted. This conversation hadn't gone where he jacking wanted it to. "I'm not saying you're a fling." Etzer muttered. He just didn't know what their relationship was.

He sighed slowly and moved to sit on the side of the bed, going to pull Etzer's arm off of his face. He leaned in and kissed Etzer slowly, not knowing what else to do or say. He just knew that he didn't want to give Etzer up so easily. Swallowing a little he pulled back and looked down at the demon. "I want to be your... official boilfriend, for what it's worth. For however long we can be.."

"I would like that." Etzer murmured softly, wrapping his fingers around Uller's wrist, pulling him on top. "I'm sorry I brought it up. Politics are a big deal in our family, and it's been demon on demon for generations..."

He shifted to straddle Etzer's waist, sighing softly and shifted to push thier foreheads together. Stupid politics. He didn't understand them, really, despite his dad being of influence back home. He just couldn't grasp it.

Honestly, he was still hurting because now he knew it would come to an end, but what else could he do? "It's... whatever..."

"Can we just enjoy the time we have together?" Etzer reached up to run his fingers through Uller's hair, a pained expression on his face. He wished he'd never said anything at all. Ignorance was always bliss, especially when it came to politics.

"Yeah." His voice was tght as he spoke ad he just tried to relax against Etzer. The hands in his hair wer helping a bit. Slowly, Uller just rolled to the side and hid his face in his arm. "We'll enjoy it while we can."

Nodding silently, Etzer closed his eyes and relaxed, fingers massaging into Uller's scalp. They'd enjoy it while they could, and the frost demon would try his jacking hardest to make the relationship last. It was true that he didn’t know where they were, but a deep part of him told him that he didn’t want to just ‘throw this away’ and act like nothing had happened.

For now, they’d live in the moment.
