This is the dimension of Scorpio. It's a very dry, desert-like terrain with craters and cracks in the ground. The sky is blood-red instead of blue. Some where, not too far off in the distance, is a volcano. Scorpio's "lair" is inside that volcano. She also has a pet dragon that guards the area.

...... ~Why don't you come right at me? ........... ~Let's see what you can do! .................. ~I bet you can't even touch me! Sasori Li "Scorpio" Scorpio entered into her dimension from a portal. She immediately laid on the ground--the dry, hard ground--facing upwards to look at the sky. She loved the sky in her dimension. Why? Because it was blood-red rather than blue. She was breathing heavily, shot in two places and her left arm--the metal part, I mean--was beaten up; Bullet holes and all. "Damn... it... That was harder than I thought." She said, before coughing up a little bit of blood. Seconds later, a geiser of hot lava came from the cracks in the ground not too far from Scorpio. The lava then came towards her and the on her, some how it had healed her wounds. It didn't fix the arms though. I need to get these things up-graded anyways. She thought as the lava disappeared. Scorpio got up and walked over towards where the portal was, creating a new portal to go to the King's Domain. It was a part of the plan, right? To go back to where they had started? Well, if it wasn't, then she would just have to deal... (Exit) .................. ~You haven't seen anything yet! ........... ~'Cause I'm the star of this show, baby! ...... ~Let me show you how it's done! ~Thinking: That was hard... I need an up-grade~~Feeling: Flustered~~My Life: Click here! ~

Nerdy Oatmeal You think maybe I overdid it a little with the severity of his injuries? xP The impact of landing on hard, hot rocky ground jarred Lance awake instantly. He weakly attempted to stand, or at the very least get to his knees. But to no avail. The adrenaline and slowly creeping madness that had fueled him before was gone. Only now that his blood had cooled and his head had cleared did he realize just how badly he was thrashed.
Both legs broken in no less than 2 or 3 places each. One arm utterly destroyed, bones more or less shattered beyond the capacity of medicine alone to repair while the other was bent the wrong way...in two different locations. Both hands and both feet were almost untouched. Spine still intact but badly bruised in some places. As for his ribs, he personally had no idea how many were broken, but in actuality it was 4 out of 24 (because peope have 12 pairs, giving them 24 total bones). All of this was not counting burns all over various parts of his body. One lung was being poked (but not punctured, thank Lord Death), and his body was riddles with holes, cuts, scrapes, bruises, and even a couple full-on wounds that resembled a failed impaling. Crystals and their shards were either poking from his body or jutting obscenely from him all over the place. And then there were the two wounds he'd received before the battle. The bullet-wound (sans bullet) was still in his lower abdomen, and the spot on the back of his head where Chilia's wolf-form had socked him had been reopened by the fall.
Put simply, he was quite literally a bloody mess. As he laid there, all he could do was groan and cry and occasionally scream from the pain. The screams were few and far between, as they caused even more hurt. The desert air was not helping, and the blood-red sky gave him a feeling of dark foreboding. After a few interminable moments of this, he was able to just lay still and weep silently, his tears punctuated by soft whimpers of the agony that he wished would just kill him and be done with it. He was alone in this alien place with no idea where he was or how he came to be there. He was alone....but something inside him told him that he would not be for very long.Soul Count: Kishin Egg: 0; Witch: 0; Demon: 0Fight Song: Screaming Bloody Murder -by- Sum 41 “No one can deceive what is meant to be…”

The Dragon►❏❐❑❒◀In came the Dragon, Scorpio's "little" pet. It noticed that there was what appeared to be a boy, laying down. He was severely injured; cuts, scrapes, gashes, and breaks galore. The hell happened to him? It thought. It heard him scream and knew that the boy was still alive. I get it now... It connected the dots. This must've been one of Scorpio's "apprentices". He seemed to be the newest addition to the list... Although, the rest of them were dead or had managed to escape. So he would be the only one as of now. The Dragon flew down to the boy, looking at him. "You need help? Or would you prefer to die?" It asked, somewhat teasing. ►❏❐❑❒◀Yuri Valentine - Sifu lol, actually it's perfect.. Yeah, Scorpio has a pet dragon. Yes, it lives here. Yes, it's awesome. I would put Scorpio in here, but she's busy... So, I'm just sending a dragon... whee

Nerdy Oatmeal Beautiful. I just HAD to get at least one of my two boys abducted by the bad guys. One is proud but will soon be obedient...the other one is so close to the madness that he makes Stein look like a puppy. Then again, it'd be too easy with Enyo...he's already half-in half-out at all times anyway. Lance heard the voice and thought for a moment that he was just hallucinating. After all, he knew he'd just minutes ago been riding the madness train back in Death City...and now he was bleeding out in some godforsaken demon desert. well, if he'd really lost his marbles, he might as well dive all the way in.
"Please..." was about all he managed to groan out. His pleading voice was clearly enough asking for assistance. But he struggled and managed a few more words, "I don't....wanna...die." And then he coughed, each one sending his vision flashing all manner of colors as his busted up ribs got jarred by the only two or three small coughs.Soul Count: Kishin Egg: 0; Witch: 0; Demon: 0Fight Song: Screaming Bloody Murder -by- Sum 41 “No one can deceive what is meant to be…”

The Dragon►❏❐❑❒◀The Dragon smiled at the boy, laughing. "Alright, then." It told him, nudging him and picking him up with its nose. "You should be fine." It assured the boy, not wanting him to worry. Of course, he would end up "fine", but it would involve a lot of... torture in the near future. The Dragon took off, flying to the Volcano in the distance. It would take them a little while to get there... After finally arriving, The Dragon sat the boy right by the entrance at the bottom. "I would place you inside. But I'm too big to go in that way and the other way is too dangerous for you, in your current condition." It stated. "So, I'll just set you out here. We'll have to wait for my master to get here to heal you." It set the boy down by a shady area. For being nearby a volcano, it was surprisingly cool temperature wise... ►❏❐❑❒◀Yuri Valentine - Sifu Well, I'm glad I could help. whee

Lance did nothing whatsoever to resist the dragon's assistance, even though being rolled up onto the nose of it was painful beyond measure, the landing no less so. On the plus side, the pain was much more manageable now that he'd had time to let himself become acclimated to it. He still didn't try to move, though. Oh well, might as well talk to this over-sized lizard and see what could be found out.
"So, who is your master? And where am I exactly?" Considering the fact that since his arrival, Lance had had no real trouble, he was merely operating under the impression that he was either dead, hallucinating like no other, or that someone had saved his life...and if that were the case, this someone, he assumed, was likely not evil, despite their sinister choice of location. In hsort, all Lance knew was that he was lost, that a dragon had been kind enough to help a little and that someone was in charge...and he had no idea that he could not be in any more danger.Soul Count: Kishin Egg: 0; Witch: 0; Demon: 0Fight Song: Screaming Bloody Murder -by- Sum 41 “No one can deceive what is meant to be…”

The Dragon►❏❐❑❒◀The Dragon sighed as it curled up by the boy. "You're in the Desert of Bones. 'Tis my master's domain. My master is a demon that goes by the name of Scorpio... I've never known her real name, if that isn't it." It replied. Was there a reason why the Dragon was being so nice to his boy? Yes. It knew that he would go through hell later, so why put him through it now? He was clearly in pain. Physical pain and maybe some mental pain. Who knows what the boy had been fighting? The Dragon, being a curious creature, took a peek at the boy's soul and smiled. Just like her... It thought, seeing that the boy was a weapon. "What the hell happened to you, anyways?" It asked, curious about how he got so beat up... ►❏❐❑❒◀

Desert of Bones, not an inaccurate name from what he'd managed to see of it...this guy's master is a demon named--wait a sec. Demon? The realization didn't hit him all at once...but as it sank in, he became just a shade or two more pale than he already was, his eyes widening slightly in something close to fear, but not quite the same. Now that he knew, he did his best not to let the anxiety show in his voice...and he failed at it, although in his defense, he was able to remain 100% as civil as before, having no reason to start a fight here or now.
"Well...I'm from Death City. My name is Lance Archer, s--" he stopped himself from finishing the statement he'd used his entire life, both with pride and without it. The pause was only for a split-second, though, "so anyway, I'm a weapon. No Meister, but I can use myself just fine. Anyway, this barrier came down and all these demons and kishin came out...and these two people. A girl and a guy. I fought one of the bigger demons, this creature covered in crystals and s**t. Killed it, but as you can see I didn't exactly make it outta there unscathed myself. Next thing I know, I'm waking up here."
To someone who didn't know Lance, the fact that he didn't mention his family beyond the mention of his surname would normally have not raised an eyebrow. But those few who'd known him well knew that this was the first time he'd ever left it out of his introduction, let alone on purpose. Lance couldn't place a finger on the exact reason, but somehow he felt no justifiable desire to associate himself with his relatively prestigious family.Soul Count: Kishin Egg: 0; Witch: 0; Demon: 0Fight Song: Screaming Bloody Murder -by- Sum 41 “No one can deceive what is meant to be…”

The Dragon►❏❐❑❒◀The Dragon nodded. "Impressive." Was all the Dragon said. He must be strong... It will be hard for her to break him... It thought, it's expression unchanging. It took the Dragon a second for it to realize that he had said a boy and a girl were a part of the ambush... Well, at least I think I know were she is... Sure, the description: "girl" was very vague. Extremely vague, actually. But it remembered that Scorpio was the only female general of the small army that the Demon King had formed up. The only non-Blackwing female, that is. "Well, I'm sure that you'll be fine once my master comes. As for Death City... I am not so sure. It depends on how long they can last against the Demon King's army."►❏❐❑❒◀

Nerdy Oatmeal Sorry, kinda had a bit of a brain fart there. Lance now was torn, but his pride for the moment won out against his fear.
"Death City has withstood far worse than anything your demon king could bring down. There have been many claiming that title and all have failed." However, in his own exceitment, Lance moved a little too much and winced with a slight groan before forcing himself to settle back down and catch his breath. "The point is, Death City will never fall. Period. Its people are too strong to let it ever happen."Soul Count: Kishin Egg: 0; Witch: 0; Demon: 0Fight Song: Screaming Bloody Murder -by- Sum 41 “No one can deceive what is meant to be…”

The Dragon►❏❐❑❒◀The Dragon gave a small chuckle (Which, actually, wasn't so small. I mean, this is a huge dragon we're talking about here. It almost shook the ground...) at Lance's sudden burst pride. "True. Death City does have some very strong people. However, there are many strong demons of this world. For all we know, it could be a draw..." How it would end up that way, it did not know. But, all it knew was that the possibility was there. The Dragon sighed, sending out a puff of smoke from its nose. It was now bored... "So, you said you saw two demons in charge... What did they look like?" It asked, wondering if its theory was correct. ►❏❐❑❒◀Yuri Valentine - Sifu lol, it's okay. It happens to everyone..

Lance was becoming suspicious by this point and was doing his best to keep from letting his usual attitude become a problem...but he was also realizing just how long he'd gone without eating or drinking anything, and he tended to get a little cranky when hungry.
"One was a female in a black cloak that covered most of her face and head. She had massive hands and forearms that looked like those of a golem. The male...I didn't get a real good look at but he seemed more formally dressed, almost like a butler." Lance was wracking his brain for more info but he'd been so occupied with killing that beast that he'd not gotten to see either of them for any length of time. "I have a question for you now. You say you serve a demon, who is master over this realm. And yet you're so unlike anything I've ever known about them. Why're you being so nice to me?" It was a legitimate question. After all, Lance was in essence a prisoner captured by what he could only now assume was the enemy. And yet here he was having a perfectly civil discussion with a dragon that was treating him better than his own family did. Things weren't adding up.Soul Count: Kishin Egg: 0; Witch: 0; Demon: 0Fight Song: Screaming Bloody Murder -by- Sum 41 “No one can deceive what is meant to be…”

The Dragon►❏❐❑❒◀Nodding, the Dragon soon knew that his suspicions were correct. There was no mistaking that description. The woman that Lance was describing was, without a doubt, Scorpio. It was lost in thought for a second or two, wondering how its master was fairing, until Lance had asked it a question. "Why am I nice to you?" It repeated. "Well, if my master sent you here instead of leaving you in that war-zone to die..." It paused, wondering how to phrase this without telling him exactly what would happen. "Then I am sure that she wants to keep you alive. Look at it this way: When you pick a flower, do you keep it because you want it to die? No. You keep it because it is beautiful. I am sure that if my master wanted you dead, she would have killed you. But she didn't. Which means that she must think that you're worth something or will be useful to her." It said. "Besides, my master isn't as nice I am..." It added, mumbling. Of course it had to mention that! It didn't want Lance to be in for any surprises.... Well, maybe a couple. ►❏❐❑❒◀Yuri Valentine - Sifu It took me awhile to think of that flower analogy... lol

Lance didn't miss that this dragon essentially said that its master, this Scorpio chick, had been at that battle. If he guessed right, Scorpio and the female kishin he saw were one and the same. He could not argue the dragon's logic. He winced a little, as he had been doing every minute or two, at the fact that breathing was not currently pleasant. He had to know more. For some reason, this Scorpio had already shown more mercy and kindness than his own father would have and there was something to be said for that. And if he waiting on her arrival, he may as well find out some more about this place. "So, what makes me so special? There must have been at least half a dozen other pairs of students, meisters paired with weapons," Lance began. he had a feeling he knew a portion of h=the reason, though...he'd generally been rather vocal with regards to Jack Archer's former occupation. The old man may not be a Death Scythe in title, but he still had the souls and the power. "And...you say she thinks I may be useful. For what? What could the son of......" he stopped. This time he'd almost said it and again had chosen to keep mum. Why? He knew his lineage, hell there weren't many in Death City who didn't. And until just an hour ago, he'd have been more than proud to claim it. Now he wasn't so sure. "What could someone like me be worth to someone like Scorpio?" From somewhere inside him, Lance's Irish accent was starting to slowly make its way into his voice. it only ever happened when he was either upset in some way or so conflicted that it caused the same thing. By the time he asked that last question, his consonants were already being given more emphasis than before.Soul Count: Kishin Egg: 0; Witch: 0; Demon: 0Fight Song: Screaming Bloody Murder -by- Sum 41 “No one can deceive what is meant to be…”
